The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't expect a 5 star resort; especially as affordable as it is. I was looking for a comfortable place to sleep that was safe and relatively cheap. It was clean and it served it's purpose. The size of the room was surprisingly large.

My only "complaint" is that it said it was on the beach. Its not on the beach. It's 2 streets away from the beach. I was a little disappointed but all in all it was a decent place to stay and the front desk addressed any issue I had.

Seawall is a few minutes' walk away, and great local eateries were within a half mile drive. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable about the island. Area is really quiet. The shower was hot and the A/C was cold. You can feel the gulf breeze and even feel it's spray at times. Being able to bring our dog, the room opening to the parking lot made it easier on her as opposed to walking through a hotel and using elevators. They have an elevator, but we stayed on the 1st floor. Did I mention, the beach was right around the corner!

Tiny towels and no one checked any of the 4 days we were there to see if we needed anything refreshed in our room. I only got clean towels by tracking down the housekeepers & taking dirty towels to front desk. Rooms are spacious BUT so much negative space, could definitely benefit from a table or couch.

Staff was attentive, friendly, and ready with our reservation information as soon as we checked in. Room was large, very clean and comfortable. We appreciated that there were hard floors, no carpet. Location, is not exactly on the seawall, though it is very close to the beach (2 minute walk) and we did have an ocean view from our room window. Location is also a 2 minute walk to Gaido's for great seafood. Also felt like it was very affordable for the location.

Rooms cleaned daily, plenty of parking & dog friendly. Easy walk to the beach and seawall. The room was big and had plenty of open space.

Only downside I can think of is the room had a wet dog smell in the bathroom. Shower head & bathtub had rust. The dog pee area outside, the trashcan was overflowing the entire week we stayed.

The room was immaculate, very comfortable, nice array of pillows labeled soft & firm, (nice touch). Bathroom had nice clean soap & shampoo dispensers mounted in the shower. Brutally hot outside, when I walked into the room, it was refreshingly cool. Gentleman at the front desk was very nice and friendly. Very well managed property.

I had paid for beachfront view. Red Roof said that isn't what Booking.com booked us for even though my confirmation said it did. We did get upgraded, however. Not enough towels for 4 people. Said they were limited. Electrical outlets need to be adjusted. Couldn't give me a receipt as it was prepaid.
