Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Superior/Duluth

It was close to our activity for the day and not far from Duluth. It was clean and affordable for what we needed.

requested an early check in and when we got there, the desk person didn't even check to see if our room was ready. we were just told we had to come back after 3:00. Also looked like there was some remodeling going on because there was construction materials in the main lobby. It wasn't dirty, but didn't look great either. It's a little out of the way too so you have to drive to everything.

The overall building outside and inside is VERY nice! We loved the aesthetic! We had such a good experience from check-in to check-out. The front desk ladies were EXCEPTIONAL. Also all of the other staff. The night before we were supposed to leave, we found out there was an issue with my car and it would not start. We simply asked if anyone had any jumper cables or anything and they were more than happy to take the time to help us outside with my car. I really, really appreciate that. Everyone was really kind and attentive. Our room exceeded our expectations. It was very clean. Bed was super comfortable and the sheets were really soft. I always have a hard time sleeping in hotels, but the pillows and everything was super comfy and I actually was able to sleep well. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay - everything we were doing was not far at all, so it was a great location. It was our first trip to Duluth/Superior and we definitely plan on coming back and staying at Boarders Inn & Suites. Just another HUGE thank you to the staff who helped us out with our car!!!! Y'all deserve a raise ;)

Large , comfortable rooms. More affordable than Duluth hotels and still easy to get to Duluth snd North Shore. Decent sized pool area. Helpful staff that accommodated an early check-in.

Breakfast items were not stocked regularly enough. Not much to choose from either morning if you are not there on the early side. Had to ask for toilet paper, as there was little on the toll and no extra rolls.

I had requested a room by the pool. They didn't have anything like that available and had booked me far from it. They upgraded me to a king suite for the same price. The suite was huge and much closer to pool and lobby for me. *That was important because I was traveling alone, I felt safer. Sauna, hot tub, pool were all clean and fresh. Included a nice breakfast in the morning as well as coffee on all day. Staff was wonderful!!! Anything I needed they got me immediately. Super friendly and helpful. I would recommend

staff were not super friendly. bed felt like an air mattress too squishy. housekeeping put the air conditioning on high so when we arrived and it was 40° outside it was super cold in the room. room was still dirty. half cut white pill was on top of my bed. floors disgusting in the room. bathtub was disgusting.

We were extremely tired, and didn't want to go out for food, so we ordered pizza from the front desk. It was very good. The bathroom was roomy with lots of grab bars. There was a large tv in the room, with a swivel arm, so my husband could watch tv from the desk, while he was on the computer. Lots of tv cannels were offered and the wifi was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. Most hotels are not offering breakfast at this time, but there was a huge selection...pancakes, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal, juice and coffee. The room was very quiet, even though we were right off a main road. Coffee in the room, with a fridge and microwave.

Needed a shower mat or strips in bath tub to help with slipping.

Very well kept hotel. The staff looks like a family and they take care of a place like their own house- with love and care. Very friendly and professional. Large pool, hot tub and sauna is a big plus . Hotel smells nice ,clean and spacious. Good breakfast is included in a stay. Really happy with our stay. Thank you!

NO regrets

The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! The room was clean and the hotel was conveniently located.

The Staff was good overall. But the one who took care of the breakfast seemed to have a bee in her bonnet. Was not friendly at all. In fact, she ignored my comment.

When we arrived the check in was super quick with pre check in online. When we got to our room they forgot to finish cleaning it. We went to the front desk and told them, and they upgraded us to a spa room for the inconvenience. The staff here is amazing, and so kind. We will definitely be back on out next trip!

Nothing. Amazing staff, and a very nice place to stay for the price. It definitely exceeded our expectations!

Cost was reasonable.

Beds had cheap mattresses that gave no support and both of us had backaches. I slept on the floor for part of the night.
