The location of the hotel was great for what I wanted to visit. Also the surrounding area is nice with plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Also there is a Sainsburys Local only a few yards away. The breakfast choice was excellent and catered for people wanting a continental style breakfasts or a cooked one. Good coffee and fruit juices too were on offer. My room was located on the 15th floor (I requested a room on a higher floor). It was a good size and well equipped too. Being so high up the room was very quiet and I could hear no noise from the busy street below.

There is nothing I could fault about my stay. For the price I paid in a major city like Birmingham, I doubt a better value hotel could be found at the same quality.

Hotel was in a great location, easy to access and parking available. Room was a good size, noise wasn't too much of an issue, bed was comfy and room was a good temperature. Room and public areas in the hotel were clean at all times throughout our stay. Breakfast was nice, lots of options and the staff were accomodating and friendly towards our 2yo daughter. Witnessed staff being very knowledgeable about allergies at breakfast with another guest which was great.

Bathroom door didn't lock, which I mentioned to a member of staff who said it was like this in all rooms? I would have liked a bit of privacy from my toddler when using the facilities!

The room was very comfortable, nice desk, TV, shower, and armchair. The room was spacious with enough floor space - for 2 people it was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean Breakfast was good, pretty standard; scrambled eggs, bread with toasting machines, bacon, ham, honey, jams, butter, beans, cereals, milk, coffee machine with hot chocolate, muffins, croissants, some fruits and juices (must have missed something but there were many options) not sure about vegetarian and vegan option but I believe they had GF options on request Really friendly and accommodating staff at reception and in the restaurant/cafe Great location - about 25 min walk from Birmingham New Street Station

The fitness centre facilities are a bit worn out - treadmill isnt great either The soap provided wasnt great - it was like that pink handsoap you have in school. They used the same handsoap for the bodywash dispenser so that was a bit disappointing. I'd expect higher quality toiletries from the Hilton and I didnt bring my own. I would recommend bringing your own bodywash as the one provided really dries out the skin.

We were visiting Birmingham to go to a show at the Utilita Arena, which is only a short 5-10 minute walk from this hotel. To help the hotel is also located next to all the local pubs and restaurants so location would be excellent whatever your stay is for. As for the hotel itself, the hotel is clean and all the staff were friendly, polite and professional. Had to queue for breakfast but the hotel has plenty of signs warning of times you’re likely to queue for breakfast, and to be fair the queue didn’t take long (5mins max) as they opened an extra room up.

The sliding door for the bathroom, the lock was broken on our sliding door but this wasn’t really a problem for me and our other half. The biggest negative for the sliding doors is you can sometimes hear the rooms around you going in and out their bathrooms if the room is quiet. It’s not a big problem though and wouldn’t stop me from stopping here again or wouldn’t prevent me from recommending this place to others.

- The room was spacious and cosy. - We were put on the 10th floor and the view was lovely. - Very quiet at night, with no outside noise whatsoever. - The bed was comfortable to sleep in, given two pillows each. - Spacious bathroom with plenty of towels. - Breakfast was the standard continental for us, all tasting fine. - Staff were polite and answered queries promptly.

- The room exhaust was a bit noisy inside, so had to sleep with earplugs. - The conditioner inside the dispenser was yellow at the bottom, definitely due to be changed and cleaned completely. - When I was showering the shower gel dispenser came out when I accidentally touched it with my arm, fell on the floor leaving it very slippery. Needs to be locked properly, very easy to open the dispensers. - The sink was in an awkward position, far-reaching. - We found the lift sometimes with a wet floor, probably due to guests but should have been dealt with quickly due to safety hazards. - I found the dinner menu to be a downer, we ate elsewhere but would have liked to eat at the hotel if they had good options, but that wasn't the case.

Bathroom door has no working lock and as it's a sliding door it wasn't particularly secure. I mentioned it to staff at check out and was told that it's for security, but privacy is also important, especially when sharing a room with a friends. The solution could be as they do in hospitals where you can lock the door, but they can be unlocked easily from outside if the need arises. Myself and my friend have been friends for years but still weren't comfortable with the door that doesn't shut tight due to no lock. Also breakfast was cold by the time we got to the table

The location was great for the sea life and Legoland discovery center. Also cinema 2 mins walk also. The room was clean, big and comfy. Parking onsite which was good at a charge of £12 per 24 hrs as others were a lot more. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choices and something for everyone.

The only thing was the 24/7 menu wasn't great though. Ordered a kids crispy chicken strips and chips and the chicken wasn't crispy. No breadcrumbs or coating. Just dried strips of what was meant to be chicken. Looked awful. Pizza's were ok but expensive for what it was, when it was frozen food they just cooked.

Everything was perfectly spotless and modern. Our beds were really comfortable and the linen was spotless. The towels were fluffy and the toiletries were well full. Brilliant night sleep, even with bustling Broad Street below us. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Varied cereal choice as well as continental breakfast, pastries and muffins but the absolute winner was the make your own waffle station. Again, all the facilities for breakfast were clean, and the staff were quick to clean up any spills and top up the breakfast bar. All the staff were helpful and welcoming, making sure we knew all the facilities available to us during our stay. We'll definitely be staying again

Nothing, everything was brilliant

From the moment my Grandson and I were greeted at the hotel to leaving the premises after paying for parking, the hotel staff, facilities and location were exceptional. It is a 10/10, and I have never felt this before, so this is well deserved. If you are heading to the arena or the attractions in that area, this hotel is fantastic for proximity, and the parking is underneath the hotel, so convenient. I had a lot of luggage so taking that from my car to the room was simple with the lifts from the car park. The breakfast was great, but it was the staff attitude and courtesy that really made the difference. Without doubt, I will recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Nothing could have been better. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel in my many years on this earth where I don't have a gripe of some sort. Caring for my grandson on this stay meant I was even more aware of the facilities and environment, which made this experience even more impressive.

Just had a lovely 2 night stay. We were on the 11th floor which had great views over the city . Great location 15 minute walk from New street station and right on Broad street which was great for us .Clean spacious rooms with TV , kettle and coffee , hairdryer and iron . A big bright bathroom with power shower. Breakfast plentiful enough to suit anyone’s taste. Both continental and English options even waffles !!! No complaints with the staff either . Will definitely stay again .

We are not fussy but next time we will bring our own tea bags for the room .
