Casa Mere Manchester; Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Location was perfect - a great pit stop between Devon and the Lake District! Not too far from motorway, but no road noise either. Staff were superb - so helpful and friendly. Room was very spacious and the bed was very comfy (one of the reasons I booked it). Having a restaurant attached was ideal and they were very good with covid regulations etc. It was our first time away from home for over a year after being in lockdown, so everything was strange, but the staff made us feel very safe and comfortable. All in all, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay at the Casa Mere again.

The fire doors did tend to bang when other residents came through them, but I'd rather that they did make a noise, and be safe!

The location was very convenient for where we wanted to be. The room was comfortable and clean and just right for a brief visit. There are plenty of parking spaces. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was in the pub next door. On a previous visit it had been very good but this time the service was surly and the food substandard so we went elsewhere on the second morning.

The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of space in the room and the shower was excellent! This is very obviously an ex-Premier Inn and pretty much what you would expect from the chain. Plenty of parking. Great pub next door. Lovely staff. We'll stay again if we're in that neck of the woods.

The weather was unseasonably warm and the room was ROASTING! Check out was a bit early at 10am.

The lady who checked us in was really friendly. She was so busy as some staff were off sick, which meant our room wasn't quite ready for us. It wasn't a problem, we went next door for a drink and she came to find us when it was ready. She was so apologetic and had let us put our things in the room while she finished getting it ready.

Rooms could do with updating but I had read that renovations are being done later in the year.

Loved accommodation, receptionist very friendly and helpful.

Being under a flight path, very little sleep, used to living in a quiet area 😴🤣

The room was pleasant and staff were nice

Its nothing really, but when I asked if they could book me a Taxi for a certain time, I was told the phone for the taxi was there, we are not from the area and I just thought it would have been nice for them to book it for us. like I say its nothing, we had a lovely stay

The breakfast was good and the location is excellent and the manager Ben is a very nice man was unable to get a taxi for a wedding in knutsford I was running short on time Ben drop me off Good man he’s the sort of man we need an asset to any company

The guttering was leaking very badly during the rain and cascading down the side of the building and sounding like a waterfall outside our window. In the end the water started to come into the reception area ceiling.

Quiet and comfortable

Sad that we paid for breakfast through booking.com but couldn’t receive it. Also annoying that we couldn’t get an instant refund and have to email to sort it out

Room a bit tired however it was very clean, warm, very comfortable large bed. Piping hot water. Everything in good working order. Helpful staff so actually good value for money.

Bit put off initially by the outside, building needs repainting!
