Hotel Hoffmeister

We loved the room on the ground floor that had a little table and chairs outside. The Hotel was immaculate and the restaurant and bar staff were excellent especially Dominic.

We had a medical emergency and when my husband asked at reception if they had a Dr. On their books for such situations. However he was just handed a business card of a number to ring in an emergency who just told us to ring an ambulance. I think the reception could have been more helpful because of the different language. We eventually got a taxi to the hospital and got it sorted ourselves and it was a serious medical emergency.

This used to be an amazing hotel in Prague - lovely place, beautiful spacey rooms with lovely furnitures. Nice restaurant. Close to the city but not inside the city. A real gem ... until ....

They started censoring the internet some websites did not work for some reason, I could not connect to my work email. This is 2022 why do people use internet blocking and censorship?! - Not coming back just because of that

The location of the hotel is perfect, good transport to the centre and to the castle. The breakfast is fine, a lot of varied food and good drinks.

There were 2 problems: The parking is difficult: if you cant't get a place on the ground floor, the -1 floor is accessible by a terrible elevator, where hardly 20 cm left on both sides.. A helpful man parks in if he is on duty. Otherwise you are is trouble as you cant use the sidemirrors as the elevator is too narrow and you must shut them. Secondly, they organized a wedding party one day, and that was so noisy that we cant have rest. Th hotel hasnt got a separated room for such events and the guestrooms on the gallery so we heard the loud music as it was in the next room..

The room was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the location was very close to the centre which was very good. Had a lovely stay and liked the complimentary bathroom items also! The breakfast included was good for those that don't have dietary requirements, I had some lovely tofu I was provided for breakfast.

The only thing that I would say was that as a vegan friendly hotel I was a little disappointed in the lack of vegan breakfast options. Whilst the vegan bits I was provided with ie fruit tofu and salad were nice I did expect when booking with a vegan friendly hotel there would be more to enjoy as part of the gourmet breakfast.

This has been one of the best experiences in my life. The hotel is rather small, so you avoid the feel of mass hospitality which is quite common in Prague. The building is indeed set on the edge of historic Mala Strana, with its back to the rocky Letna hill - perfect, because it allows you to stroll through the magical parts of the old town but if you are fed up with the tourist buzz you can walk uphill, take a tram or the nearby metro and immediately change settings. Our room was a gem, ideal for a romantic city break, spacious, bright, with four windows on three sides above the rooftops of neighboring buildings and with great city views. Good windows means no noise, despite the fact that the tram line passing by is busy both day and night. As the room is the only one on the top floor you feel like you are living in a penthouse. The spa bath was fantastic, as was the entire enormous bathroom. The bed, also enormous and comfortable. The spa treatment we got as part of the deal was in a 15th century cave turned into a steam bath - lovely, though not too hot (it said maximum 56 degrees, it was in fact only 40). The breakfast was fine, staff very helpful and polite, and the underground parking saves you a lot of hassle so is worth the price. Highly recommendable!

the radio system did not work which was a pity, because the speakers looked promising. We forgot to pick up our prosecco bottle!

Very nice staff - my parents who don't know foreign languages felt very comfortable because staff understood polish language. Beautiful and clean rooms, air conditioning worked very well and it was very SILENT - you don't hear any sounds from the street! The hotel location is ideal - no crowds around and the metro station and the castle are close. The hotel staff reparked my car to wider parking place on the last day of stay to make it easier for me to pack my luggage into the car - thank you :)

Everything was ok.

Location close to all attractions, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, large and comfortable room, bath with jets.

Spa not included

I made this order for my parents 30th wedding anniversary so therefore I was not at the facility but from talking with my parents they rated their stay very highly and were super satisfied with everything they faced during their stay there. What I loved was that the staff went the "extra mile" for me as I asked them to set up some nice decorations for my parents big day. Here the staff lived up to the expectations and provided my parents with a nice sign "Happy 30th Wedding Anniversary" along with a bottle of champagne and very nice rose leafs around different areas of the room. Very thoughtful from the hotel who kept their promise.

Difficult for me to comment as I was not there but my parents did not speak of any unpleasant experiences.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was incredible, lots of varieties to choose from.

Our room was the smallest, it was not on the inside of the hotel, but connected to it by the yard, and the tv did not work. we also had issues with the room temperature (the thermostat had an error and it was cold). we addressed these issues for 3 days and they eventually changed our room for the last 2 nights with a bigger room, inside the hotel, which was indeed different than the first one, no issues reported.
