Hotel Waldstein

Very nice and cosy hotel just in heart of Mala Strana. Beautiful historical building delicately renovated with modern and stylish interior. Perfect location, breathtaking surroundings, ten minutes walk to bridges and city centre. Parking place available just in front of the hotel (need reservation), friendly and helpful staff.

Everything was perfect!

Staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to help. Room was clean and spacious. Food was nice every morning with different options, catering for everyone. The location was perfect being able to walk everywhere and close to public transport. Taxi arranged by hotel to pick us up from the airport was friendly and very easy to find once there, while simple to organise online at home.

The hotel is part of the historical Waldstein palace, and although the structures are old it has been thoughtfully renovated and features all modern amenities. Modern bathroom with floor heating, espresso machine in the room, nice views into the courtyard and onto the palace: The premises and room were all spotlessly clean and beautiful. Staff was helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We could exchange money at the reception without fees. Amazing breakfast with many choices. This is a small boutique hotel. It was perfect for our stay and we would absolutely come here again. If you need gym, pool, elevator and whatever a big hotel has to offer it might not be for you.

Beautiful historical building located in the center of Mala Strana, bonus is easier car access and possible parking. Easy leveled walk to Charle's bridge and city center, close to Hradcany Castle. Very comfortable bed, and due to location very quiet during the night, lending itself to good night sleep. Hotel is in the area of Czech senate buildings and various embassies, so very safe to walk around. Staff was very attentive and welcoming, very good breakfast. Hotel itself is very beautiful and full of character and charm, all around great choice.

The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was a plus in the heat. Having two kingsize beds was a bonus when travelling with teenagers. I wish more hotels would do this. Breakfasts were excellent. The staff at breakfast time and in reception were very friendly

The walls are very thin,we heard everything from the next room. And we couldn't sleep because above us was a family with 2-3 children?! they were walking up and down until midnight, and it was so loud 😤 Not really suitable for a relaxing holiday 🥺 But maybe we just got bad neighbors.

We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spotless with plenty of room for the family of four adults. Beds were very comfortable. The included breakfast had a great variety of foods and the breakfast room was so unique- underground with vaulted ceilings and stone walls. The hotel is is a great location- walking distance to the castle, St Charles Bridge, and many more sights of Prague. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Prague.

We were well received at reception (a glass of bubbly) and got quick resolve to our wishes - e.g. to split the double bed into 2 single beds for the kids. Our (older) kids stayed in the room under ours, as we requested rooms close-by; access from a locked inner yard; very quiet rooms, nice and large, impeccably clean and well appointed (incl. coffee machine & pods). Great location: in a yard away from traffic and night's parties yet in walking distance to all city center's attractions, restaurants, the Senat's gardens just nearby and just a walk uphill to the Castle complex. Oh, and nice brekkie. We surely would like to return.

We had no problem with it but there could be an issue for some who have a large piece of luggage to lug it up the stairs in the level 1 rooms. Otherwise all perfect!

the property was gorgeous, clean and quaint with spacious rooms that felt like apartments. the property was located in a quiet area that was right next to the popular tram area which can take you to the old town, new town etc for cheap and for very quickly. as we had an anniversary booking - we received a complimentary bottle of white wine which was a lovely touch

i didnt like that there was no reception at hotel waldstein, if you need anything you have to leave the hotel and go next door to the sister location the three storks. whenever something was booked through the hotel, it was say you were in next doors hotel rather than the waldstein which i deemed to be inconvenient. i will also say, if you stay here - keep the little notice on the door at all times, if you want your room cleaned they will assume you want it cleaned if you dont have the notice on the door saying you dont. not too much of an issue but when returning from the shop the staff had made the beds and refilled the coffee and we had the staff trying to enter the room as it was half completed and they hadnt noticed we had returned.
