The Golden Wheel Hotel

The location of the place is great. Mala strana neighborhood is the most beautiful area of Prague, just few steps from the castle and 5 minutes walking from Charle's Bridge. Our room was large, clean and nicely decorated with a painted wooden ceiling. I would definetely go back.

The staff at the lobby is very young overall, which is definetely nice. Some of them just need to perfect their English a little bit. But they were all nice and did their best to assist us anyway.

We were told that the hotel has its own parking, and the public parking was a 25-minute walk from the hotel.

Beautifully restored out of the ordinary setting, a mix of history and modernity. Nice and helpful staff, very good bathroom, very good breakfast. A bit overpriced.

It is very difficult to approach the hotel, hardly possible even to stop for a moment by car, the nearest parkhaus is not too close. I would not recommend it to people travelling with car. The street is very noisy, the center of tourism in the old town. Our room was in the attic, it was a cozy room but with quite a lot of baggage not too easy to get to. There are two very narrow elevators, you have to change on the first floor. One window was missing in our room (aftermath of a recent renovation), they could not fix it, but at least we got extra blankets because of the cold.

Really nice hotel in the middle of Prague. Superb location. Nice big room and bathroom. Helpful staff. Clean.

Rooms into the main street can be noisy. Rooms oriented into the garden don't have much view. No parking.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. The staff from the reception was very kind and help us with all we need. The breakfast was very good (awesome coffee). Huge room with many facilities, big bathroom with everything.

Lack of toilet paper in the last 2 days. They knocked on our door at 9:30 in the morning for cleaning (missing cardboard with 'do not disturb' outside the door). Small problems with the drain from the bathtub in the bathroom.

We liked the room very much, and the position too. The hotel is just between the castle and Charles Bridge, the castle is within walking distance, for the Bridge better you catch the tram 🚊 Our stay was really good 👍

The poor amount of information we were able to get from the people at the reception. Everybody was really trying to be helpful, however precise and updated information, especially about the trasport and the services available in town, would have been appreciated.

The historical building of the hotel is absolutely amazing! The room was very beautiful, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. They even prepared an early breakfast for us to be able to have something before leaving. Thanks for this kind attention 🙂

Nothing! OK, you need to be ready to walk uphill a little bit to get to the hotel, but Prague is just like that.

Our room was very spacious and ideal for three people. It was very convenient that we had a small restroom on the upper floor. The location was good. eventhough, it was on a hill, that is still acceptable when we consider the hilly structure of the city.

One negative observation/experience was that the drainage in the shower was clogged and it was not pleasent to shower in it when there was above 3 cm high water.

Excellent service and excellent location, on one of the oldest streets of Prague - Nerudova. Literally just a few hundred meters from Prague Castle and in the heart of historical district Mala Strana. Very friendly hotel staff, nice tidy rooms with old style windows overlooking the street or hotel courtyard/garden. Wifi connection very good, big comfortable bathroom with good quality toiletries.

Breakfast a bit on the basic side, but tasty and with sweet and savory choices. Coffee machine needs to be upgraded, the espresso I tried to get from it was very far from what an espresso should be.

Large spacious room with a lovely garden view. Everything was nice and clean and perfect.

The location of the hotel is great. However, finding parking is a pain. So unless you find a spot near the hotel, you will end up walking a lot just to get to hotel and drag your luggage as well. The hotel offers parking but it's like 26Euros which is too expensive for Prague. Book here if you have no rental car and are using taxis, uber or bolt.
