Hotel Klarinn Prague Castle

The room is amazing, just like in the picture, you even have a mini fridge for yourself and a decent bathroom. The location is amazing, 5' by tram from the central square or 20' walking. My and my gf arrived in the morning and the room was ready for us (must appreciated). The Wi-Fi was OK.

When we arrived, in the doorbell there's a message saying that you have to call to a number to get in, because if you press the doorbell, no one comes. I mean, this is a disaster, what if you don't have a SIM card from Europe and you have to call with the one from your country? That's unacceptable in my opinion. The reception in the night is empty, yes, as you read, empty. As first we thought it was because we arrived the 24th of December, but the next day was exactly the same. The heating radiator was very cold, for a snowy city is not good actually lol.

The wifi was not working at all for 3 days

The location was fantastic, the hotel staff were very helpful, on my arrival day they even let me check-in earlier with no extra fee. Very easy to find it I come from the airport in public transport .

I stayed at room 34 I believe is under or besides the laundry one night it was very noisy till 1 am , if you have any issues with stairs the lift is not on the same level as you stay so you always will need to use the stairs one level up or down (to me was not a problem) I mean if you have issues with stairs.

exceptionally friendly staff ( all of them); the hotel is in an old building so rooms are plain huge, spacious. also, it’s very well ventilated and you have a radiator under the window in case you got cold

carpets everywhere (must be a pain to clean), but at the same time they make it silent. the place is noisy a bit when elevator moves or someone opens/closes doors. and I missed a shower handle with a curtain, for a practical fast shower (instead, there’s a beautiful and v clean bathroom with a tub).

Location is great, very close to Charles bridge, 2 min walk from metro. The staff were friendly, the room has comfortable bed, and overall the hotel looked better than the pictures. i had nice view from the window (although it was small window). I appreciated having a hair drier in the bathroom and checkout at 11.

just tiny things that still don’t make it a bad place to stay, especially for a night. There were big spider webs or chunks of dust on the walls, very visible so I don’t know how they miss it during cleaning. and there are no toiletries; I saw some for buying at reception.

The location was perfect as I was participating in a conference organized just across the Mánes Bridge. But the location is great for anyone as, for example, the Castle is just two tram stops or a shortish uphill walk away. The rooms are stunning. The first update I sent home was "I feel royal!" A little fridge does not come without saying in hotels these days but may make your life a lot easier. Finally, I would like to thank the staff, especially one person who helped me with any kind of questions and (minor) problems, obviously not related to the hotel. In addition to the beauty of Prague, this hotel makes me want to return.

Be aware that the reception is ONLY staffed from 10 in the morning to 21 in the evening. There was a fridge but WE would have preferred coffe/tea facilities in the room Some noise from the trams that pass near by but Price taken into consideration it was Ok

I loved the location, We were able to walk everywhere to the highlights of Prague. The Hotel was really cute and with a noble antique charm, like they used to be in the good times, with paintings and everything, you can imagine ;)

The only thing was the window because was not well closing so the wind and the sound can enter a lil for was just more a minor discomfort. Nothing bad as it sound, otherwise was perfect, the heater safe the whole situation

The room was clean and comfortable, dark and quiet at night. The bathroom was like for a king: big, clean and bright, really comfortable. The bed was comfortable too. The hotel is stylish and in a great place (just about 10 mins walk from the city center).

Needed to wait approx 30 min on the reception for the check-in, as the receptionist was away and there was no sight when they were going to return. The breakfast was average for this price.

The bedroom is HUGE and the room is very authentic to what I would imagine a Czech castle to look like. Quite the experience! Beds SUPER comfortable and the location couldn't be better. The best was our driver who picked us up from the airport- he was super nice and efficient- great energy!

Their webpage states 24hr reception but its from 11.00am to 22.00pm. Which means if you wish to leave your suitcases in the office as your flight is in the afternoon- you miss most of the morning waiting for reception to open. They should have a sign at reception stating this info as it was quite annoying.
