Miss Sophie's Charles Bridge

What a great spot! Such incredible value. Tall people beware, there are some low hanging beams in the lofted rooms! Hit my head more than once, and I'm not especially tall! Still highly recommend though. Was definitely my favourite spot that I stayed in on my recent European journey.

It did get very warm at night, as switching on the AC next to the bed was incredibly loud, and unfortunately the fan mode didn't help all that much until it got a bit cooler much later in the evening. I am used to a much colder sleeping environment to be fair.

The location is excellent and the complimentary breakfast was delicious, complete with freshly made waffles. It was the perfect place for a family of 6 and very spacious. I highly recommend this place!!

We indicated that we would be arriving between 2-3:00 and asked for early check-in with no response. When we showed up at 2:15 the desk agent wasn’t there, then walked up maybe 10 minutes later and seemed irritated we wanted to check in 30 minutes early, and equally annoyed that we needed her to hold our bags so we could go eat if we weren’t able to check in yet. Our washer and dryer was broken but they did let us do laundry in another room. Not ideal but certainly worked and solved the problem. Overall it was a fabulous stay but for a 4-star hotel the service could use a little work.

Amazing little aparthotel with stunning quality-price relationship. The place has no common areas like lobby or other facilities, but in exchange you get a huge room with stunning views and super beautiful decor. We were extremely surprised with the quality of the room, the amenities and the overall coziness. The staff was also very nice in general (specially the Spanish speaking woman and the man at night).

The breakfast was sufficient for us, but it is not like the huge buffet you are used to in an average hotel. We loved the fact that you have breakfast on your room though.

We stayed for 11 nights, as it was our honeymoon destination, and we absolutely adored our little apartment! The view of the square out our windows was beautiful, the apartment was clean and tastefully decorated. Also, great central location! For breakfast, there was a wide variety of options for whatever one may be inclined to eat, whether it be light or a bit heavier. We loved the pastries, cereal and fruit!

We had absolutely no complaints!

Well located on the square with public transport (including links to airport) literally on the doorstep. Check-in was an unexpected 4 hours earlier than expected. Room was a good size with an amazing view of the square. Kitchenette was well equipped with crockery, cutlery, utensils (chopping knife, board, corkscrew etc) and contained a good size fridge, cooking hob and even a dishwasher with tablets provided. A kettle and Nespresso coffee machine with a vast number of capsules (fully replenished daily) was also provided. Breakfast was laid out on the landing outside the room each morning from 7:30am, this contained breads, pastries, cakes, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, juices along with a hot selection of local sausages and eggs. The pastries were available all day to help yourself. The bathroom was compact but contained everything you needed, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, dental kits and plenty of towels, along with bath robes and slippers. Bedroom was accessed via some stairs on a loft/mezzanine level. Bed was comfortable enough. Plenty of good cafes/restaurants in the locality.

Shower head could've been fixed to the wall rather than free hanging. Sleeping loft could be an issue to some with steep stairs and low ceiling/beams.

We chose Miss Sophie's Charles Bridge for our honeymoon. This was our first trip to Prague. The location of the hotel was very close to many historical and touristic centers. We never used public transport. Hotel staff was very caring and helpful. They left chocolates and champagne in our room, and I thank you for that. Our room was very clean. But most importantly, the view from our room was magnificent. It had a view of a square surrounded by beautiful buildings. The breakfast was nice. If I visit Prague again, I will definitely choose Miss Sophie's.

Buffet breakfast with a good choice of food. Small kitchen with a fridge and hob in room. Hotel was ideally situated and within walking distance of various attractions. There was a good choice of places to eat near hotel and surrounding area. There was a tram stop next to hotel if you wanted to go further afield.

Nothing really to dislike, although the stairs up to the bed on the mezzanine level were steep, but this was highlighted in the room description. Not really suitable for older people.

Incredible location and the apartment has a lot of charm. Even though it was right in the middle of a busy square and above a Starbucks and other cafes and shops, it was really quiet and cozy. Loved the breakfast buffet and being able to eat in our own apartment. The staff were also really accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved the room, but it does not have an AC It has a fan (which is however not next to the bed), but during a hot summer day, this isnt enough, I was really having a hard time sleeping I understand that having an AC in the old town is not easy, but it is very unpleasant. There must be a way to keep the room cooler during summer I would come back in spring, winter or autumn, but not in summer

Miss Sophie's was in a wonderful and beautiful location with a short walk to Charles Bridge. The facilities were great with a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We loved collecting our breakfast in the morning and eating it whilst looking out over the square. Everything was within walking distance with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop at nearby.

The quilts were too warm for summer with no alternative.
