We had an excellent stay here. This is a beautiful old hotel with colourful and fun decor and loads of character. Our room was quite small (but probably average sized for Paris) and even though it was very expensive it was good value for money by Parisian standards, especially for a 3 star hotel. Only a few minutes walk away from a train station and some of the coolest parts of Le Marais. We didn't have breakfast because there are bakeries and shops on the doorstep.

The lift only comes down to the entrance if the staff turn a key, so it is only used for your baggage when you arrive. Otherwise you have to climb the first set of stairs to get to level 1 to then use the lift to get to your room. If you have mobility issues this could be problematic but the staff may have a solution for you. Apart from the room being small this is a great hotel.

Great location, plenty of eateries just at the ground floor. Metro and department stores are just nearby. This hotel remains transitional Parisian deco and needs guests to appreciate its beauty. If you like night life, this is a great hotel to stay as there are plenty of great bars and restaurants are nearby. The 10€ breakfast was awesome

the soundproofing is concerning, we could literally hear next door’s guest snoring at night and busy bar life from downstairs. The internet was not working on our 4th floor during our stay. The hairdryer only worked 2mins then switched off by itself. The life isn’t serving from the ground floor unless you notify the receptionist from the level 1 (they name it level0) . This is a hotel for the tourists who are seeking the basic essential needs.

Location. Perfect for walkers and explorers. The hotel, so quaint and colourful and uniquely French. Close to everything including Metro, bars, restaurants. Easy to explore the city and those beautiful little side streets. Highly recommended but be aware this isn't 5* luxury and is fairly functional. For those with exacting standards avoid, but if your looking for authenticity and something memorable you can't go wrong here. I would definitely stay here again.

There were a few areas that could be improved upon, but without the flaws it would lose some of it's character. Rooms were small, tv didn't work, floors creaked, lift was out of order, But for me these were features, not bugs!

The hotel and room were adorably decorated and furnished. And the location was prime! They offered breakfast in the mornings for an additional charge, but we decided not to opt in since there are so many great places to eat around the hotel. They let us store our baggage after checkout before our flight, which was great and convenient.

My friend and I were a bit confused about having to return the key to the front desk and retrieve it every time we came & left from the hotel. We were also confused about the "curfew." We were told that the front door was locked after midnight so we'd have to ring the bell to get back in. And we couldn't return past 3a or we wouldn't be able to gain access to the room.

Absolutely perfect location in Le Marais, easily reachable by the RER B train from the CDG airport and then short walk or 1 metro stop. In a safe bustling LGBTQ-friendly area with many bars and restaurants, I felt safe as a young woman walking at night alone returning home. The hotel room is much better in person than in the photos! The design is very interesting with colourful everything and nice to see the character of the older building. I requested a room with a balcony and my request was met and the balcony was lovely size to enjoy the vibe of the city. Air conditioning a huge plus in the heatwave. Balcony doors with a tight seal to block out the restaurants at night. Room was spacious, especially for location and Europe. Instead of the 10 euro breakfast, I found 6 euro petit dejuner formule at local places which were delicious :) try Le Mauvais Garcons restaurant down the street! Overall a great experience in a fantastic location. Service was very kind and I expected the worst in Paris but didn't have any issues! You have to give back the keys every time you leave the room since it's an actual key and not a card, but I liked this because I didn't have to worry about losing the key and there was always someone at the desk 24/7. Recommend!

Bed very comfortable, the pillows very lumpy though but still doable. No duvet, a sheet provided under the comforter (which I never know if they wash or not but very comfy and big sheet to not touch the comforter). The only thing is the room is carpeted, so I kept on socks or shoes as to not touch the carpet with bare feet. Provided slippers would be nice. No coffee maker or fridge in the room.

The location is right in the heart of Le Marias, and an easy walk or short bus/train ride to all the popular sights and destinations. The hotel staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with even though I can't speak French. My room was not quiet, because it is literally above and next to lots of cafes, but I could close the french doors and put the air con on if I wanted quiet, but actually, I liked all the sounds of life. The hotel room was small, especially the ensuite, but it totally worked and was very clean and comfortable. the decor is quaint and quirky. I usually enjoy a more minimalist environment but found the hotel suited the location and captured the local vibe.

Access to tea and coffee making facilities would have been good.

The hotel has wonderful decor, friendly/helpful staff who speak English, and it is located at a wonderful spot in the Marais neighborhood. There are many sights that are in easy walking distance (Notre Dame, for example) and it’s close to a metro station and a variety of bus lines. It is very easy to get to from the CDG airport as well (RER train and metro). They also allowed us to store our bags before we checked in and after we checked out for a few hours. There are many excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk as well! My partner and I loved our stay there and will be returning the next time we’re in Paris. The air conditioning worked well, the views from our room were lovely, and the street noise was quiet.

No complaints!

I love this place! My second stay and it won't be my last. It is quaint, unique, the location is so good and the staff are lovely and friendly! We had room 18, little balcony is always a treat (my partner proposed to me on this very one), bold colour scheme makes for a unique French experience. The bathroom is a tight squeeze but perfectly adequate for what we needed and breakfast is available at an extra cost (we didn't as we prefer to eat out) all in all great stay and can't wait to return.

Shower doors close loosely in the centre so easily open when bending down or if knocked. Maybe a little kettle in the room for tea or coffee would be a nice touch!

The property shares the typical constraints of all old traditional hotels in the centre of Paris - steep stairs and smallish rooms. This said, it compensates amply for them in so many ways! It is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the windows keep the city noise out. The entire hotel is decorated with period furniture, pictures and mirrors, it's like stepping back in time. The breakfast room is especially lovely. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they all speak English as well as French. The location is absolutely perfect - a couple of hundred metres from several subway stations, City Hall and Notre Dame are within walking distance, and if you're wearing comfortable shoes, so is the Louvre. :-) Just outside is a small square with several cafes, the type you usually find in Marais. I'll try to book the hotel again for my next visit.

Can't think of anything.
