Villa Beaumarchais

Very helpful staff. The room is good size for Paris. The breakfast room is lovely. The location is very good for accessing the Marais, Bastille and the Arsenal.

The floor plan of the bathroom in our room was difficult. My tall husband couldn't fit his knees between the toilet and the towel rack and the tub was very narrow, hard to get in and out of, and the shower head isa bout 9 inches away from the edge of the tub. it was very pretty, not but too functional.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Staff were amazing and lovely in their demeanour. Prior to arriving I had been communicating with the staff to arrange a surprise birthday cake for my daughter. The cake was beautiful. We loved our stay. Thank you to all the lovely staff for making us feel so welcome and special. ❤️❤️❤️

Its a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Marais, everyone was very friendly and the rooms were kept wonderfully clean. The staff were helpful and efficient.

The bedroom was slightly dark and small. It would have been nice to have had breakfast included.

The location of this property is perfect. beautiful neighborhood and shops nearby to pick up a little groceries or food. metro nearby.

the breakfast was good, but way overpriced. the last day I was having bfast there and little mouse came up and practically pulled a chair out to join us. I told the staff who basically shrugged her shoulders….and I was STILL charged full price for the meal and no apology.

Amazing experience at Villa Beaumarchais, the standard room is small (next time we will take surely an upgrade) but the bed are super comfortable and silence. We slept amazingly. It was the birthday of my girlfriend and I ordered flowers, but they were really ridiculous for 60 euro that i paid for. So, I have informed the staff and after checked the flowers, they reimbursed the cost, and they offer us a new bouquet (this time amazing) a bottle of wine and macarons...we were speechless, this is just the way a guest must be treated, chapeau!

Lovely building in a nice area, amazing breakfast area. Rooms are very spacious. Staff and the service was the best, every request attended to immediately and in a very friendly way. The pastries at breakfast were really good -unlike most hotels where they tastes more like supermarket croissants. The location is so good that we are definitely coming back, everywhere is easily walkable and do mane really nice cafes and restaurants around within 5-10 min walk. The best for us was that it was incredibly quiet - we are very light sleepers but had great night sleep and after busy days it was refreshingly peaceful. We had a 5 star experience staying at this hotel. Everything from the designated car space, to being dog friendly, to being located in a tranquil and isolated street (so despite being in the heart of Paris, the hotel itself is like a sanctuary from the bustle). The lobby and lounge areas were also so peaceful with beautiful piano music always welcoming you back to the hotel. Moadh from the front desk added tremendously to our overall experience of the hotel as he was always joyful and smiling, attentive, friendly and greeting us whenever we entered the hotel or left (you can tell he genuinely enjoys making guests feel welcome and valued) and this sort of client service is exactly what elevates a hotel experience to the next level for a guest. The room itself was perfect for us and being able to open the windows out on the lovely inner courtyard/garden outlook made our room feel more like a little studio apartment than merely a hotel room. I will absolutely stay here anytime I ever wish to return to Paris. We have exceptional memories of our hotel stay. Thank you to Moadh again, exceptional standard of client service and he completely stood out from any of the other staff as an outstanding and accomplished professional.

The cleaners woke us up two mornings out of four being quite verbally noisy in the hallways chatting and calling out to one another. Work noises didn’t perturb us at all yet loud chatting outside our room when we were trying to sleep was quite jarring.

The hotel was very comfortable with good reception areas for us to meet with our friends who we were travelling with. Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. We used taxis a lot and the reception staff were able to get one within 3 minutes. We found plenty of small restaurants nearby for our evening meal. We liked the Nespresso coffee machine in our room.

My only criticism was the 100euro deposit taken from my card on arrival. It showed on my credit card statement for three days following my departure and I had to email the hotel on a few occasions to be reassured that it would be returned as at one point it looked like 200euro had been taken. It eventually disappeared on day 3. I don't know if this is common practice or just Villa Beaumarchais policy as it was our first time in France since 2018. We had paid for the hotel in full on 1 February, 11 weeks ahead of stay. During our stay we spent 15euro in the bar and the obligatory tourist tax of 46.08euro. As mentioned above, this is my only criticism but it did cause me some anxiety.

The location is quite central to a lot of attractions in Paris. There’s a metro Chemin Vert I think, which can easily link you to different metros to go tourist attractions. We love to walk though and we were able to walk to and from Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, Saint Chappell. The area is quiet. The room is just about the right size, it has a small fridge and a very good coffee maker and they provide you 2 coffee pods a day. The front desk staff speak English quite fluently thank goodness for that my French is so limited. There is a small gym in the hotel with 2 or 3 cardio machines, sit up boards,dumbbells and towels and water are provided too. After all the eating, the gym was a nice to have. It is close to restaurants, chemists and small grocery shops. Breakfast was good Our train to Avignon was quite early so they can book you a taxi as well.

The location is great - easy to access from mainline stations (I walked back to Gare du Nord), a short walk to the river for Latin quarter and to lovely Place des Vosges, and right on the edge of the Marais so lots of bars and restaurants within easy reach.The beds were incredibly comfortable! Air conditioning in the room was great, easy to control. As all rooms face into the courtyard it's very quiet at night. Reception staff were very helpful. We didn't have breakfast as was ridiculously expensive at €18 but there are lots of places nearby.

They took my card number on arrival for a pending €100 deposit for the room which certainly wasn't mentioned in my booking confirmation. Breakfast was expensive, even by Paris standards, at €18.
