This is an authentic italian house with vintage furniture and decorations. It is very well located near the city center but in a quiet street. The room was clean ans beds were very comfortable, temperature perfect for sleeping. I liked the small little garden outside where a cat and turtle were living as well. The owner was very nice and helpful, she served breakfast every morning and provided recommendations for getting around. I can definitely recommend the place! I think the value for money is very good. If you like authenticity and vintage then this is for you.

The breakfast is italian, so no eggs or cold cuts, mostly processed food but for us was not such a big deal as long as we had yogurt and fruits. The owner puts a lot of effort into serving it by herself every morning and I appreciated that.

I really appreciated the more relaxed feel of the space. In making this trip, I wanted to do everything in my power to experience Florence the way the locals do, and the apartment we stayed in gave me a lot of exposure to that! I also liked being able to reside in a separate, fully isolated apartment away from the other tenants/residents.

The fact that the space possessed only one air conditioner was a little weird to work with at times (to keep my room cool, I had to keep the door to my bedroom open all night, which dampens the privacy elements a bit).

I really want to thank the landlord in particular. We accidentally left our spare cell phone in the safe. We found out about it five days later, and when we tried to contact the landlord, we found that the landlady had already sent us a message about the situation, but we had never seen it. Many thanks to the landlady for helping us send the phone back to the UK. The room is clean and tidy, the landlady will prepare breakfast for everyone in the morning, the location is excellent, very recommended!

Very cozy and atmospheric hotel. The hall and kitchen zone decorated with vintage things and small quiet garden with a cat and turtles (very cute). The host was nice and kind making or staying comfortable and relaxed. No complaints about the room, it was clean well prepared.

As far as the hotel is located on the ground floor and our view was on the street side there’s always a noise from the cars and bikes driving by if the windows are open.

The room we had was stylish, lovely and clean, with a fridge. The bed is very comfortable and large. For breakfast, which the owner, Morag, personally prepared for us, we had a very good croissant with a taste of other italian toasts or other offers of fruit or various yogurts. We parked our car less than 1 minute from the accommodation in guarded garages, all process very easy going. When we left accomodation for our next trip, we had some problems, because we forgot the windshield in the garage (we found out we forgot on the way back home, more than 500km to think of coming back for it). This situation made us more stressed about what to do. When we returned back home, to the Czech Republic, we got in touch with Morag again, who willingly helped us a lot from a distance (she picked up the windshield from the garage, arranged and sent everything by courier back to the Czech Republic. Big big thanks to her great help. We would like to publicly thank her for her understanding, being open, and willingness to help us remotely!!! When we come back to Florence again, I will be happy to go to this hotel. We sincerely recommend accommodation at Casa di Barbano. Thank you for everything:)

What a wonderful B&B the home is clean, well located and the bed...what a wonderful night's sleep absolutely fantastic and a great quality sleep we just wished we had stayed longer. Our host was very attentive and was great with recommending places to visit and how best to get around the city. Just a ten minute walk from the train station and the main part of town. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

There wasn't much to dislike. There was some minor building work going on over the road which took place during one evening of our stay but only for about half an hour out of the three nights we were there. Other than that one occasion it was a perfect sleep and very quiet. Don't be out off you'd regret not booking Incan assure you.

The central location- close to railway station and center of Florence. The breakfast was great and Moraq is very lovely, she helped us with all our requests . We had 2 bedroom apartment which was comfortable and homely in a traditional old building

There is no elevator so the 3 flights of stairs to our top floor apartment were an effort at times, however we were aware of them when I booked and were prepared. I would not call this a negative but be aware of it if you are booking upper floor apartments

Great location. Staff was helpful. We really liked having breakfast in the courtyard. A turtle visited every morning and cats in the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable, and it was nice to have some space to wander around. We also liked that she had games and books. It's close to the train (tram) as well as busses. We easily walked to most places. We enjoyed the European breakfast every morning. She serves coffee, OJ, yogurt, croissants and bread with a few jams, honey and Nutella.

- The host was very nice and helpfull . - Location is in the quiet part of the center but within only a few minutes walk from the historic center. - The Italian breakfast was good too. - The appartament is very spacious and has a kitchen too.

- The appartament is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the house. It was ok for us but older people may have a problem with that

Perfect location, walking distance to main attractions but on a nice quiet street. If you are looking for an authentic Italian stay, definitely stay at this bed and breakfast. Our host was absolutely exceptional and looked after us. She even brought out a little cake for my partner’s birthday in the morning at breakfast. She made our stay extra memorable and special.
