It was very modern and fresh with a lot of facilities to avail from.

The lift situation was a little annoying they take a awhile to come. Also the room was not cleaned during our stay we never got fresh towels

Very clean and new hotel with great facilities. The hotel gym was well equipped for anyone hoping to train whilst abroad (barbell, squat rack, dumbbells, assault bike, cable machine etc). Breakfast was good and there were lots of options. Rooftop cocktails were very well done albeit on the pricey side (same as in London).

The hotel bikes are not good. Very heavy and clunky. We had to return them and exchange after 30mins cycling. I wouldn't recommend these for the price. Find a bike shop in town if you want to use bikes. It's a great city for cycling so shame these aren't up to par.

Location very good and easy to get to city centre once you got your bearings. Great vibe in the hotel, very focused towards youth, but plenty of mid lifers, like us, there.Hotel quiet at night which for us was a plus as such a young crew use it..Real good quality breakfast, well presented,fresh and crucially, even at 9.30am, ample . Roof top bar fab and roof top pool fab(just be aware you need to book a slot at pool as it is roof top and the demand is big).overall a superb clean hotel and brilliant staff (especially reception)and we will be back.

Rooftop pool was amazing - it was booked out though, so would recommend advertising that to people when they book the hotel (to book ahead). Gym is also located on one of the rooftops and my partner loved that. Size of the room was fine, shower had a water litre consumption counter which was really interesting, never seen that before! Helps with monitoring usage, and was enlightening haha. The room was nice and dark and had good A/C which is key for Florence summer heat.

The check-in process was annoying, the key card insert after you get into the room to turn on the power was faulty and the lights were annoying to work out. Staff were arguing with guests beside us when we were trying to check-in and just dampened the experience for us. Also, I know it's Italy and they're not known for diversity but for such a cool hotel it was a little disappointing to see the disparity in FOH vs BOH. :(

This is an interesting place, part of it is for long term students/international workers. It has a very artsy eclectic vibe. It was close to the train station and close enough to walk to the main attractions in Florence. The rooms were big for Florence, and there was free laundry in the basement which worked well. There is a very nice gym that my husband was happy to use, as most of our hotels in Italy have not had a gym. The best part of the hotel is the rooftop pool/bar! amazing views of the Duomo!

The elevator system is very confusing since they try and keep the “dorm part” separate from the hotel part.

My young teenager and I liked everything about this hotel. Staff are friendly and super-helpful, rooms are comfortable, the 24-hour gym has an amazing roof-terrace view out over the Duomo, breakfast is varied and delicious, there's a laundry which is very helpful on longer trips, location is perfect for city centre sight-seeing, and you're spoiled for choice on comfortable spots around the building to sit down and do some work on a laptop (if you're a freelancer who never really stops). The Social Hub is now my first choice place to stay in Florence, one of my favourite cities.

Would be good to have a choice of twin beds or double bed in the rooms. I can't think of anything else...

The facilities were amazing! This blew us away in every way!!! The pool was fantastic (but make sure you book ahead of time), free access to the gym was such a luxury. Aircon was great, rooms were big and spacious, wasn’t too over the top, felt modern and playful, comfortable and clean. Easy to get around Florence with lots of e-bikes and scooters available outside. Nice that there was a cafe on-site as well as great Wi-Fi and working spaces. This was a hotel experience that felt fresh and almost like home.

The lifts were a bit confusing - but just something you can easily get used to if you’re paying attention.

It was very convenient to the tram and the city center. The rooftop bar was amazing.

The beds are hard as a rock and the tv has no option to watch anything other than in Italian. We had to change rooms due to the noise from the street being to loud and the housekeeping entered our room while we were still sleeping although the sign was up. When they cleaned the room they turned off the air and it took forever to cool back down. Having to change elevators to get to your room was crazy and the doors into your little corridor were very loud when shut waking people in the middle of the night. The shower did not have a door which was weird.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station (or a 5-10 minute tram ride; the tram stop is next to the hotel), and another 20 minutes walk from the major sites of the town centre. The breakfast is phenomenal, probably among the top-5 I have ever experienced.

The aura of the hotel is that of a place where young people or students would hang out and socialize , which is definitely not a bad thing, but in that spirit I found some things to be unnecessarily modern, like the light switches in my room which took me a while to figure out how they were working, or the meter on the shower head with an LCD display of the temperature of the water and the volume of it that was consumed. I mean, cool gadget, but...
