Location, location, location! Room was great. Comfy beds. Bar staff. Turndown/maid service.

Service at breakfast! Poorly run, long waits for tables and even longer for replenishing foods. One server was particularly poor. We waited 35 minutes for our tea/coffee to arrive after asking her 4 times! Only on our last morning did this improve because another server arrived too. We weren’t the only ones having this issue. It would be really simple to organise this better. We had just stayed at a B and B in St. Moritz with very similar breakfast options and it was superb. Disappointingly, no fresh fruit (it was tinned), no toast and the fruit juice was not fresh but made from concentrate.

Location and Parking are amongst the reason why we picked this hotel. It's also located in the vicinity of Piazza Santa Maria Novella (a nice square with a picturesque church in it) especially ideal for guests with a car/van. Being so very near the Duomo of Florence, its just a 5mins walk away. I just love how they have valet parking, very convenient especially with ZTL and all :) A lot of of tourist attractions, shops, food choices were a variety within few mins reach... Name it you'll have it. :) Love the cozy and elegant feel of this hotel. And they also have nice recommendations for restaurants and give you a map of the nice tourist attractions in the area. The staff especially can speak good English and are very helpful to your needs especially to tourists.

mmm the housekeeping staff could have been more courteous though. But I like their front desk staff very much. I called when we were on the way, and he spoke good English and was able to answer all my questions and it was soo comforting especially we have a big van to brave the ZTL.

Location, style, room and bathroom size.

Would have appreciated a coffee before 0500 departure to airport.

The structure is very nice and right in the city centre. The breakfast area was really nice, with a lovely view of the roofs and the square. The bed was comfortable.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working in the room. The room was nice but a bit old with some scratches on the furnitures. For two nights we had a problem with the electrical panel and we ended up sleeping in another room and then being moved for the last night: no one’s fault and everyone was very kind, but it was a bit stressful. We tried the room service a few times but no one would reply to the phone, which is not something I would expect from a 4 star hotel.

convenient location. train station is in a walking distance and there are many restaurants and luxury shopping nearby.

I tried to use the bar one night, around 10PM, and was absolutely disappointed. one of the waiter told me to pick a seat and he will come by to take my order. No one showed up after twenty minutes. After I read all emails for that day and wrote one lengthy one and service was none existence. Yet a table a few feet away got all their attention. I knew he saw me again because we made eye contact while he was taking their orders. No one show up even after that table got their drinks. At that point I realized that waiter is decided to ignore me. I walked away and returned to my room while saving any dignity still left in me l. One note, price for a drink was expensive even to American standard.

In this time I stayed in Hotel Santa Maria Novella. (situation with covid 19, Hotel L`Orologio was closed) I liked hotel Santa Maria Novella. Good location, very helpful, polite staff. Big comfortable room, comfortable bed. Nice breakfast.

Friendly staff. Size of room. Breakfast. Location - close to everything, plus walking distance from train station. View from room. Room size and comfy bed. Decor and lobby area.

When we arrived we were told that there is some mulfunction with our room and so they put us in an ipgraded room with view of the piazza the next door hotel that belongs to the same chain, but we had breakfast in the l'orologi hotel. The room was good, but the bathroom extremely crowded.

Location . Very close to the station and duomo. Easy walking to the shopping district . Staff was very friendly , courteous and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean. We had been upgraded to a junior suite from a superior triple which we appreciated very much Fantastic cooked and continental breafast Very cosy living area was excellent for relaxation.

Not having a restaurant for dinner . But this is not a issue since when you step in to the piazza there are plenty of choices.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It's a walking distance from the train station, Duomo, Uffizzi, and all shopping areas. It's right on the piazza Santa Maria Novella. We traveled with two kids and had two adjacent rooms with very comfortable beds, linens, marble bathrooms, beautiful cabinetry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again!

Great location within less than 10 minutes walk to the main square, and most other attractions. Staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. If you request something it is done in record time! Super clean hotel. Everything was spotless.
