We had a lovely stay. We had a corner room (Tulip) with two large windows with a view of trees/ a church and a balcony facing the water. The room was clean and big. The Aircon worked well and there was a fridge in the room. It is a 20+ minute walk into the centre with most places we went being about 25 minutes walk away. Some restaurants nearby.

It is quite noisy being next to a busy road with just old wooden framed windows and doors, the pipes in the building are also very loud, you can here then groaning in the morning and night when people are using the bathrooms.

Pleasant, unique decorations and simple, good rooms. Rooms were clean and air-conditioned. There was a good amount of space for two people. Quite easy to find and to use public transportation. Very friendly staff and owner! As a bonus, beautiful terrace with a view for quests to use freely.

Little bit too far to walk to city centre (~25 min) and back daily (affordable bikes and tram worked well though). A lot of noise from traffic through the night, bringing ear plugs or buds recommended (these helped) if any noise is an issue.

The location was great, it was about a 20 min easy, flat walk from the main attractions and there were nice restaurants and places nearby.

Check out was a bit early, but they were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags with them while we explored during our last day! Very kind :) The noise from the street traffic was a bit loud, even with the windows closed, but we turned on some white noise and then it didn't bother us after that.

very clean and newly renovated. we initially got a room that was next to a noisy street. the host moved us to a bigger suite at the opposite side of the faculty which was much quieter. the additional cost was very reasonable. the host was very caring. she texted me before our trip to find out when we would arrive by train and made sure the room was ready for us for an earlier check in time. it felt like staying at home or with a friend that gave us a great first impression of Florence.

it’s not in the town center, but with a short walk, it puts you right at the center of things.

Il Sorriso is in a very convenient location, close to Mercato Centrale and the T2 tram that reaches the Florence airport. Antonella and her team are kind and attentive, she really made our trip special and we are so grateful! The room was spacious, clean and tidy with a cute terrace. Air con was perfect and entering the building was fine. The view from the terrace is stunning too!

each morning we were awoken by the sound of birds singing in the trees - we absolutely loved it but if you are used to silence, perhaps bring some ear plugs with you, haha!

Antonella is a perfect host, very nice, communicating fast and accomodating. My room was perfectly clean and the Bed was really comfortable. Also: The terrace is fantastic. Even in February, I enjoyed sitting outside in the sun. Also, everything is in walking distance: train station, groceries, very good restaurants (which Antonella will recommend to you), pharmacies and of course the city center.

My room was facing towards the street, which is a little noisy. But it is the cheapest category, so this isn't an allegation, but maybe good to know: maybe bring an earplug. (Worked fine for me and I slept like a baby.) Or simply book rooms facing the yard.

Angelica was extremely nice and very helpful. Instructions to find the accommodation and collect our room key was easy to understand. The terrace area is beautiful and though it is shared, you can either sit on your own or join in with other guests. A beautiful church next door, sweet sounds of birds chirping and you occasionally hear traffic but not an issue.

Host was very helpful, we were a bit early but didn't have a problem with the check-in. We had the corner room with a balcony overlooking the water. Room was spacious and very quiet. There were very good restaurants nearby.

Radiators were very good except for the night and AC was not that good at heating, so nights were a bit chilly. Rooms could be cleaned better.

We didnt take breakfast . The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very nice. They were not .there but told us how to get in . Large bathroom. Location 15 min from center by walking. Also 4 min ftom the tram to the city

The pillows were pretty uncomfortable . It took us a several minutes to find the place and the entrance (it is at the first floor on the stairs or elevator)

Everything was great! Location, cleanness,host was very friendly and helping many ways to guide us.

Since its a half basement it is a bit humid.
