the room was lovely, nicely decorated with nice furniture and a massive comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom was scrupulously clean, as was the whole room. Breakfast - wide choice and was really good, freshly cooked. The small fridge in the room was very handy. Good selection of teas and coffees in the room. The host was very friendly and helpful. Location was a reasonable walk 15-20 minutes from centre.

breakfast served in the room was a little fiddly, but not sure if this was covid related, would also have been nice to have had a little communal sitting room but again possibly covid makes that not possible

The Opera Boutique B&B was by far the BEST EVER B&B in which we’ve stayed. In fact, all things considered, we would rank it above some of the 5-star hotels we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy. That’s a big recommendation which we feel the need to justify, otherwise it will just read like a “Another Good Rating” and that would do The Opera Boutique a massive injustice. Carefully and lovingly restored, this is the house in which owner Francesca grew up. Her attention to detail, connecting to the essence of opera, is subtle but also very well thought out; musical instruments and artefacts adorn the walls and even the quirky guestbook keeps the musical theme going. We arrived late but were still greeted with the warmest of welcomes. Our luggage was transported up the two flights of stairs in an old, caged lift, while Francesca led us upstairs to our room - and what a room it was! Decorated in Renaissance style with each piece of furniture being hand selected, it was so beautiful and calming and we spent a very comfortable two nights there. As it was raining on the first morning, we took breakfast in our room, but on the second our breakfast was laid out (with delightful quirky touches which made us smile) on a small balcony overlooking the leafy rear of the property – lovely. Breakfast was delicious and accompanied with breads, pastries and fresh fruit. Francesca gave us fantastic recommendations for places to eat and how to move around the city. With the B&B being only a short walk from the main attractions, through parks and past many statues, it’s ideally placed in a central and safe area. All the above make for a great stay, but for us the main positive was the owner’s total focus and attention to customer satisfaction. Lovely people. Stunning accommodation. Separate but a good plus: the taxi from and to the airport took 15 mins and only cost €25 so great value.

From the day of arrival, Paolo the owner host is very very accommodating. He went out of his way from translation, to taxi, car rental, and best local recommendations on his favorite restaurants. Amenities like a chilled bottle of Italian Prosecco was not expected but most appreciated. local made crackers and Italian chocolates were also part of the amenities. Very personable and warm, Paulo generally cares for his guests and well-being. we highly recommend Opera boutique when traveling to Florence.

Lovely mix of tradition and contemporary furnishing and close enough to the centre (walking distance). The windows are double glazed and sound proof. The hosts are very amiable and welcoming and are all about making the experience a positive and comfortable one. We were supposed to only stay 2 nights but extended by another 2 after the first couple of night experience.

There was nothing we did not appreciate about the property.

The host was lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable. The location was just out of the main tourist hub, but still within easy reach.

The floor was made of historic parquet pieces that creaked loudly when walking on it, so there was no moving about in a quiet manner. The location was just a little further from the train station than I realized; it would have been nice to know that I could have caught the tram and made my walk easier (we did that upon departure).

A really warm and hospitable welcome from the host. Our room was characteful, homely and immaculately clean - as was the bathroom. There was an extensive choice of breakfast options - all fresh/good quality. The B&B is perfectly situated just a 15 minute walk from the centre/station so nice and quiet yet very reachable on foot. The host was very helpful with local recommendations. We would not hesitate in returning.

If you are looking for a place to stay in the amazing city of Firenze, look no more!!!! The Opera Boutique B&B is the whole package to fully enjoy your trip and don’t worry about anything else. Francesca and Paolo will take care of absolutely everything. The extraordinary breakfast served in your room, the impecable cleaned rooms, help with booking tours, reserve restaurants, book taxi rides… and more! The B&B is at walking distance to the historic centre and all the sites in the city but is very quite at night so you can have a restful sleep to start new itineraries the next day! And the best part is that they doing all of this because they LOVE what they do and that shows in every single detail.We have travel a lot and I can guarantee that Opera Boutique B&B is at the top of the list of the best places we’ve been. We will go back to Firenze and without a doubt we will book our next stay with them!!!!! Thank you so much Francesca and Paolo for making our 6 days in Firenze a memorable trip!

I stayed at the Opera Boutique In May of 2022 and my stay could not have been better. Francesca and Paolo are wonderful hosts, going out of their way to make me comfortable. The room was so elegant yet very comfortable. The beds and pillows were wonderful. I only had to ask and they would arrange for a taxi. They gave me amazing restaurant recommendations. They were both so accommodating. My upgraded room was fantastic. The Duomo was only about a 20 min. walk and I felt very safe, even at night. Highly recommend. I am so grateful for the hospitality.

I honestly found nothing that I did not like. Everything was perfect.

The accomodation is located a short walk from the main buzz of the city centre in a charming house if flats. It offered me peaceful spacious room stylishly decorated with vintage / antique decoration and opera theme. The owners are exceptionally lovely, helpful and genuinely caring people. Their breakfast was simple but delicious and very much worth it and they even made my extra wish come true and set in on a little balcony with a view to flowers and trees in the peaceful courtyard. The day couldnt start better. When I was unexpectedly in a rush to catch train from a different train station than I thought the owner called a taxi for me, helped me with my luggage and waited for its arrival to ensure I was in good hands and explained my situation to the driver. Bathroom has comfortable size and offers all the little extras you might need if you forget something (toothbrush included) when travel. The kettoe and selection of teas to prepare in the room is a nice thing to have and little chocolate cookies as a surprise gift were very lovely touch as well as the personal welcome letter. I have been accepted and checked in very late night since my original accomodation close to the SM Novella train station was in a horrible hygienne condition. This place was a very lovely welcome and I slept like a baby. I can recommend this place to everyone looking for place with special character and atmosphere of old times. At first location seemed a bit far but in fact it is not that far at all and very well positioned if you travel by train.

old building, well maintained and upgraded. clean and tidy, always smells amazing. all amenities are available. the hosts are amazing, friendly and respectful. they made the experience more enjoyable.
