Wow!! Where should I start. Allright so location was perfect. Just a bit out of the city center, quiet, serene, peaceful and felt just like a King in the Villa. I was driving so it worked out perfect for me. If you are traveling by transit then it might be slightly away from the city center. By walk, it will take you around 45 mins and by bus it will take you around 20-30 mins. By car, around 10 mins. Host was flexible with the check out times. Simply loved the whole experience. Furniture is rustic/antique which gives the look of 18th century. Def will be coming back.

The resort is a typical Italian villa located in a quiet and leafy area. It's definitely got character. My room was spacious and with a nice view overlooking the park. The place is at around 15-20 min walk from the closest tram station (Il Poggetto). There is also a bus (no 55) from the tram station to the resort, but it's not very frequent. Altogether allow 40-45 min to/from Santa Maria Novella railway station (tram + bus or tram + walk.)

There was no breakfast during the time of my stay, which was unfortunate. Hope they fix this. The external garden is nice, but needs some renovation.

It was lovely historical villa on the outskirts of Florence, reasonably close to the airport and easy to access the city. We have been to Florence several times so we were looking for something different and to be close to the Medici Villas, it was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room was large and comfortable and the staff was exceptional.

Getting onto the property with a car is very challenging and we did not feel comfortable leaving after dark. The bathroom was tight and the bath was microscopic making it very challenging for even an average sized non-italian. Finally considering the rate per night breakfast was very basic, I would have expected more.

The house and the garden are authentic, special and cozy. The room is spacious and cozy. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and varied.

Although we wrote in advance when we would arrive - which we kept - approx we couldn't get into the building until quarter of an hour to the parking lot. We rang the bell and called in vain, but there was no one at the reception or in the house. A worker came back to the house from outside, and that was the only way we could get in. The bathroom is very small, you can hardly sit on the toilet pressed against the wall. The bathroom is full of ants, maybe in the future the place could use an insecticide. The windows and walls are so thin that every noise and conversation from the next room and the yard is disturbingly loud. Since it is a really old, romantic and authentic villa, we can accept and tolerate everything except the ants.

The staff made us feel welcome. They are very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a pleasant smell and were well cleaned. The rooms have a beautiful view and have a bit of a romantic feel. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The strong water pressure in the bathroom is wonderful! One can really enjoy a great shower. This place is truly lovely. Will definitely stay here if i ever visit Florence again.

The flight of stairs to our room with our suitcases was a bit of a challenge. Luckily, one of the guys that works there helped us to get the luggage upstairs.

- Flora was great, she made everything she could to make us feel good - The apartment is close to the town with good connection by public communication and at the same time it’s a bit outside so you can really rest - local neighborhood, with bars and shops - garden

- The gate to the property is very tight, we needed to fold the wing mirrors to go through(we had vw tiguan) -The room was a bit small for 3 adults (but at the same time it was very good price)

Chiara, the manager, was so kind and accommodating & the place was precious! My friends and I had to leave early in the mornings for tours, before the scheduled breakfast, and they kindly prepared us to-go breakfasts! The kitchen staff lady was Rosemary & she is a sweet as they come! The place is a bit far from town, 13 minute walk to nearest food/ mini-mart, but it’s a quick and easy tram ride to the city center! The place is charming & quaint!

It’s just a little far but it was also nice to be away from the hustle of the city

The garden of the property is fantastic, it was a pity they don't serve breakfast at the moment but they let us consume our breakfast there. The building itself is super nice, an old villa in a quiet and nice area with unique furniture.

The position is not so central and a little bit uphill so if you are coming by foot it's gonna be tiring. Besides that it was really nice!

Very nice villa in Firenze with own parking inside the fenced area. Airconditioned and cosy room. Public transportation to downtown in walking distance. Breakfast included was Ok. Staff was very nice. Small pool in the garden can be used to refresh … nothing to swim in! I love that they offer family rooms for 3 or 4. Distance to downtown with public transportation including walk to bus or tram will take some 30 minutes. Bus is 2 minutes walk away, tram some 10-12 minutes walk.

Nothing to complain about … just a hint for guests and one suggestion. I suggest to sell bus tickets at the reception at least for the first ride downtown so that you do not have to walk all the way to the tram … not sure if that works but I could buy tickets to be stamped on entering public transportation, so it should work. Be aware that parking might be a little difficult to enter with a larger car. Entering with a Volvo V70 was possible but it should not be much larger.

Quiet location within walking distance to mass transit. Has parking on site for personal vehicles. Nice breakfast included. Chiara was extremely helpful and a pleasure to chat with! Grateful for air conditioning in an unusually warm May!

Bathroom was a little odd-- bathtub equipped with hand held shower sprayer, toilet was very close to the wall (I'm 5'8" and had a little trouble fitting in there). But room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable otherwise.
