There is little to fault this accommodation. It’s in a great area, most attractions are within walking distance. Check in and breakfast are at the sister property just around the corner. Rooms and facilities are as seen in the listing for the hotel. The rooftop terrace breakfast was spectacular - a view that you’d usually have to pay for. Breakfast is a buffet of croissants and pastries and delicious coffee. Staff were helpful and spoke great English, the gent from The Philippines that showed us to our room was one of the friendliest, most helpful member of hotel staff we have met in all our time of travelling. We were disappointed not to see him on our last day to wish him well. The room was noisy at times, you can hear all the sounds from the streets below but having been to Rome before was totally expected. It’s a living city.

The bed itself was disappointing compared to the decor and look of the rest of the hotel. It’s a mattress on a metal frame - we were expecting a more luxurious bed in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

We loved this hotel for our first night of vacation in Italy. The location by the Piazza Navona is fantastic - easy walking to many sites and places to eat. The hotel building is on a quiet alley. There was an elevator to the room if needed and the room for 4 was huge plus an entry room and separate bathroom. The decor is period style and fun - foreshadowing palazzos we would see on vacation. The woman at the front desk (you check in at a sister hotel around the corner) could not have been more kind or helpful and we were able to store our luggage the next morning until we left the city. Breakfast for an extra fee on the roof of the sister hotel was fantastic - gorgeous views, a large and varied spread with sweet and savory offerings and was also tended by a very efficient and friendly staff person. All in all, we wish we had more days to spend there than one night. The price was an excellent value.

I am sure the pull out sofa for our teen children was not the most comfortable. Two full or queen beds would probably have worked better for our family but does not impact our overall impression of our stay.

Breakfast was very good. Good choice of foods. Amazing view from the terrace. Check- in and check-out process was easy. Reception staff were very polite, professional, helpful and nice. Shuttle service arranged by the hotel- worked well. Perfect location- we could walk to most of the attractions. Also hop on-hop off bus stop nearby.

It was a bit dark in the room, even during the day. I think that a large mirror would be useful, there was only a small one in the bathroom. Iron not available.

The hotel was unique and interesting and in a great location and the staff was great. Francesca at reception was very helpful and helped us book a private car to the airport once we found out streets would be closed due to the Rome marathon on the day we were leaving. The room was large with a foyer and was tidied every day and we always had enough toiletries to use. The complimentary breakfast was very nice.

It would have been nice to have more than one mirror aside from the mirror in the bathroom and a trash can outside of the bathroom. Depending on what room you have in the hotel, there may be street noise at night so you would need to wear ear plugs.

Such a character interior! We loved the quirky Italian decor which made the room very unique. Breakfast on top of the hotel was fabulous with magnificent views over the centre of Rome, and the breakfast room staff were more than helpful and professional.

Lighting in the room was a tad dim. Could do with one brighter light to dim for a more romantic mood. Reception was a little curt - perhaps a holiday for the receptionist could be due soon before the pressure of the summer season hits? The room was a bit noisy with street antics below in the early hours, but for such an idyllic location it was a small concern only for us.

The room was well situated close to lots of interesting areas. The staff was very helpful, they brought us from the check in location to the hotel just around the corner and brought us all the way to the room.

The shuttle we booked through the hotel to bring us to the airport was 15 minutes late when we decided a cab was the easier option. I wouldn't bother with the shuttle if it's only for 2 people as a taxi stand is down the street and actually €5 cheaper than the shuttle. That's not the fault of the hotel though, just something to note.

The room was original and way better than the photos. We initially booked it because it looked a bit OTT and kitsch, but they are actually very artistic and tasteful. If you go definitely have breakfast on the terrace as the rooftop views are amazing and it's good value, food wise. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Brilliant location, but couldn't be described as tranquil at night. Not super noisy but not quiet.

Nothing, loved it all. Naples is a bit of a cultural shock in comparison!!

Fabulous arrival in Rome at this truly unique hotel. Great location, friendly staff, a room we will never forget, and incredible views from the charming rooftop breakfast cafe. Good (sweet) selection at breakfast and coffees made for you any way by the lovely waiter. Fantastic and very unique experience. 6 stars!

The air conditioner and the fan had nearly as much personality as the decor. We were sure that they were talking to us! Nothing ear plugs could not sort out. Still fabulous!

The room was large and comfortable--in fact, it was 2 rooms with a door between, a sitting room and the bedroom, which was very handy with children as I could stay up reading after putting them to bed. The place was so charming, with its beautiful beamed ceilings, antique plaster walls and velvet wall paper. It was exceptionally clean every day. But the two things that I loved the best--location and breakfast. The breakfast was excellent, and you have the most incredible view up on the roof. What a way to start your day in this fabulous city! And then the location: it's just off the Piazza Navona, which is central to just about everything. You can walk to everything, and the Piazza is one of my favorite places, especially in the evening. This hotel was an excellent choice!

Note that it is an old building, so the sound insulation is poor. And because this is a popular area, you will have night time noise up until about midnight.

The rooms were grand and spacious, definitely unique! The location was also super convenient for roaming around the city. The best part of the stay, though, was the breakfast on the rooftop (Terrazza delle 5 lune): the view was marvelous and the selection of the buffet very satisfying, varying daily, including both sweet and salty options.

The sound proofing of the room wasn't the best - one could hear the noise from the street through the windows rather clearly. The buzz of the city life didn't bother us significantly, though. Also I wish there hadn't been bees on the rooftop: it would have been much nicer to enjoy the breakfast at peace, but I guess it cannot be helped - the sweet fruits, pastries and flowers seem to attract them.
