Amazing location and Paola was very helpful with the sights to see and helping us get transfers to the hotel and to the airport. Our room was really beautiful and clean. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

Unfortunately the AC was not working properly, there were two power outages during our stay, which is not the hotels fault but I think it did something to our AC unit. Rome was very hot during our stay so having very reliable AC in the room would’ve been much better.

Our hosts Paola and Alessandra were wonderful helpful and very personable. We travelled to Rome to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and our 22nd wedding anniversary and they were able to supply balloons, chocolates, chocolate cake with candle and wine which made it very special and was so appreciated. Our room Tosca 102 was perfect and quirky which we like and the balcony was such a bonus. The sun streaming in the mornings listening to the church bells was amazing. The location was perfect we walked everywhere and yet tucked away which meant it was quiet would fully recommend and grateful to have such lovely hosts.

Nothing at all

The room was a nice size, with a nice modern bathroom. We were worried it would be noisy being in a busy part of Rom, but it was very quiet. The breakfast was really good. Great options and plenty of food. I liked that they ask you what you'd like so as to not be wasteful.

The stairwell of the building is dimly lit and grungy. But that's probably typical for the old building. Once on the floor of the boutique hotel. all is very nice.

We stayed here 5 years ago and couldn’t wait to come back! The location and accommodation are 1st class! Paola , Alessandra and her team are absolutely fantastic! They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had an incident where we had left out passports in Milan and they helped us to get them back easily by liaising with the courier service. Angels! We can’t wait to come back again!

The location is excellent. Walkable to all the central sites and lots of lovely bars and restaurants nearby.

The staff are wonderful and helpful. It is not staffed 24 hours but access is any time.

The location is excellent. We were at walking distance within a mile of major places. The staff members are very helpful and obliging. The breakfast was simple but very good (eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruits,…) This place is located on the fourth floor. When the taxi driver dropped us off in the alley and pointed to us an unmarked modest door, I panicked- I was expecting a hotel or at least an establishment with an official sign/logo . The door led us to a narrow unwelcoming hallway, which led us in panick hoping to find a lodging place. There is a lift, but you would still need to climb one floor.

No sign or logo of this establishment I wasn’t expecting to climb up to the fourth floor to find out that we found a right place to stay. If I were better prepared that this is b &b on the top floor, I would have been better prepared.

It really was home from home. The location is perfect. Only 30-40 mins from airport by taxi. We were within walking distance to all the major land marks 15mins to the Vatican City, 25 mins to the Colosseum. You have the pick of many lovely restaurants from right outside. The room was perfect very clean and offered everything you need. Breakfast is served to the room which is great. No need to rush out of bed, your selection request is delivery to the room at the time requested the day before. Room cleaned perfectly daily. Staff were all very pleasant indeed and very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be recommending Le Suite del Barone to family and friends as well as using again ourselves in the future.

Can honestly say not one thing

Location is perfect! Walking distance from all the major sites and located in a cute neighbourhood with dining and drinking options at every corner. The airport pick-up and check-in process were very easy, and the online guidebook provided by the hotel was incredible. All in all, a very comfortable stay.

The corridors leading to the rooms felt cheap modern renovation of an old building. The bathroom in our room is in an artificially constructed box, which felt a little weird. This meant for example that the shower itself didn't have proper doors (water kept leaking onto the floor).

Located between some of the best locations of Rome, from historical sites to atmospheric piazzas perfect for apperitivos, this exceptional B&B uplifts your stay to a unforgettable experience. From the care of Paola and her team, to the scenic views of breakfast on the balcony, the memory foam pillows, or very comfortable beds, it makes it a place that you simply don’t want to leave…or almost want to keep as a secret since it is so precious…grazie Mille Paola :)

It would be very difficult to find something to dislike at this property as Paola and her team paid attention to every detail to make your stay as comfortable and smooth as it can be.

location was perfect, the room was cozy and equipped, the bed and pillows were pretty comfy, big towels! which is a big plus. big open windows with good shadow curtains. the staff were amazing!

there were not really HOT water. you had to turn the knob all the way to the hot side to get a decent hot shower, but it was just hot enough. you couldn’t get it any hotter.
