Hotel Arcangelo

The breakfast is excellent and probably the best of the deal. The staff is very very nice and accommodating. The AC ad a problem during most of my stay and the staff tried really hard to solve it until they did it.

I have only one thing that was inaccurate with the description and it was the size of the room. It was described as "wide (amplia)" and it was very small. When I opened my suitcase I could not close the bathroom door nor the window. For me, that was travelling for work with a large suitcase and needed a good desk to use my laptop did not find it comfortable. Though I guess is perfect if you are for tourism and spend all day outside. One personal suggestion is when possible remodel the room as 3 walls were 80% mirror covered, which left no privacy at all (needed to close the curtain to not be mirrored outside) and it looked like there were people in the room as mirrors facing each others made it looked like it.

We were delayed in Rome because of the air traffic issues and had to find somewhere to stay in a hurry. To be honest we would have been grateful for almost anything but this hotel was amazing. A real find in the heart of Rome. The hotel is quirky in its decoration - a boutique hotel I guess you would call it. The rooms were clean and the roof terrace with views of St Peter's Basilica was a delight. There are some decent restaurants not five minutes walk away and a short walk to the Vatican and the Metro opening up the whole city to you. The booking price online is very competitive and the staff very friendly. If we choose Rome again we would definitely choose to stay here. The breakfast was also very good with a hot and cold selection.

We didn't find anything we didn't like!

The property is situated close to all the tourist attractions. It is only a 25 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and a 15 minute walk to the Vatican. The breakfast was lovely and has lots to choose from. The rooftop area was also nice, with views of St Peter’s basilica. The hotel isn’t in a very touristy area which is nice, the outside of the hotel looks like it’s not in the nicest area but the interior of the hotel is lovely! The staff there are also really nice! I would stay there again if I was in Rome again!!

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel, it was very welcoming and had a very authentic feel. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

Mirko was well versed in English and was very supportive to us in mapping out the best attractions to see. Virna was friendly and made us feel at home during Breakfast. The room was kept clean daily, unfortunately we didn't get the chance to meet her.

Room number 36 Needs attention to the ceiling in the bathroom, one corner was moist and mouldy. The carpet in the room needs to be changed. One of the beds was squeaky.

The solarium was excellent, breakfast was enjoyable every day we were there. Food was simple but very well done. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Slept great every night with adjustable air conditioning and a firm comfy bed. Location was perfect, close enough to not only walk to the Vatican but see it from the solarium. Yet, away from the busy hustle of the city.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property!

This boutique hotel had the most charming details. I loved having a balcony door to open in the evenings. The breakfasts were fresh daily, and my favorites were the filled croissants. One of the hotel treats is a delightful rooftop terrace with seating and shade screens that has a view of the Basilica dome. Service was wonderful. All concierges were helpful in solving problems and providing suggestions. Cleaning staff did a great job. I loved the location of the hotel. It is in a quiet area away from tourist crowds, yet all major attractions are accessible by walking or short rides. Good restaurants within walking distance also.

Staff were absolutely fantastic here! shoutout to murco (sorry definitely not spelt correctly) . he gave us great ideas and encouraged us to see Rome after dark and he wasn’t wrong! room was big and comfortable breakfast was good , simple but good roof terrace was great and you could bring your own drink and snacks which I liked!

friendly and attentive staff at reception, room was small but clean, location was extremely nice and the hotel was in a pretty house located in a quiet side street, close the Vatican, shopping, and public transportation. Hot water kettle and tea provided in the room. AC was working and (alternatively) windows could be opened to a quiet street.

The breakfast room was a little messy, silver ware on the table was dirty. The "American" coffee was undrinkable, but fortunately another coffee machine provided better coffee. Otherwise, the breakfast had a nice choice of savory and sweet choices, including Italian breakfast. Some fresh fruit instead of canned would have been nice. The shower in the room should really be updated.
