Hotel Prati

The hotel's location is by far it's best attribute. The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from the Vatican walls. The Ottaviano Metro Station (Line A) is also very close. The area around the hotel is full of restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't experience any noise at night. The hotel was very clean. The AC in the room worked perfectly. The price we paid for three nights was very good especially if you consider how central the location was. We used the metro in order not to waste time walking and because it was hot (over 30 degrees celsius) but if you like walking, staying at this hotel allows you to reach all the main landmarks by foot.

Breakfast - Very basic. For me it was fine as I'm not a big fan of breakfast but if you like a good breakfast you might want to consider taking it from one of the cafeterias around the hotel. Bathroom - it was clean but VERY VERY small (less than 3sqm). If you're a bit chubby you possibly might not be able to fit into the shower cubicle. The Hotel doesn't have a vending machine downstairs (that would be very convenient) however you can buy bottles of cold water from the receptionist.

This is a small hotel located in the very center of Vaticano Prati part of Rome - perfect for exploration of all the historical points. The room was quite small, but had everything that one may need for a short stay - acclimatization was working fine, which was very important on +37! The amenities are not new, no luxury, but everything was clean and functional. Very comfortable bad! Good Italian-style breakfast (only sweets!).

The hotel is on a busy street (though our room was not on that side). Elevator was really minimal (two of us + bag could hardly fit:).

Very good located. Allmost all sightseeing within walking distance. As well restaurants and supermarket. The staff very helpfull and friendly. A clean place and in general quiet.

The room was small. It was a single room but even for one person not much space. The breakfast could have been more varied. But in general the value for money is ok. What personally bothered me a bit was the cold metal chairs in the breakfast room. Note: it was quiet -- but I travelled in January. I can imagine that this will be not the case when there are more hotel guests.

Very nice staff, very easy to communicate in English. Great location - close to most of the sights. The Vatican is at your fingertips. After checking out in the morning, we were able to leave our suitcases in a special locker and return to them in the afternoon (our return flight was in the evening). This allowed us to explore the city. It was very nice. The breakfasts are very tasty. I especially liked the red orange juice. The room for 3 people is a bit small, but enough for a weekend trip. I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Great location near Vatican. Underground station and bus stops were nearby, a lot of restaurants as well. Personel was very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I liked the atmosphere of that small hotel.

I was little disappointed with the breakfast - croissants every morning, but they were tasteful. Small bathroom with unstable hot water can be a little problem after a long day when you are tired, but it was not that bad.

The location is perfect close to Vatican and Castle Sant Angelo. The room was small but very clean with all the facilities. The shower was a little tiny but was not a problem with hot water and good water pressure. I rated the hotel compared with the others in this range of price. The breakfast was not very especial and instead I got something in the neighborhood. Overall, if you book well in advance, the price and the hotel are exceptional.

Hotel Prati was our home for a week in Rome! The location is unbeatable and the staff was amazing! Before arriving I saw some reviews about the size of the bathrooms (being too small), but we found them perfect... maybe if we had too much pizza and gained some 10/20kg :D Rooms are well optimized and cleaned daily. I will miss the place and will definitely recommend it!

That I couldn't take home one of their pillows! Seriously, those were the most comfortable pillows I slept on.

We checked in with the wonderful Fabio. He was so friendly and helpful. He recommended a very good pizza place and the price was reasonable. Francisco helped us booked a taxi and made phone call to confirm a scheduled pickup. When the driver was late, we asked Fabio call the driver and he did it with a great attitude. Thank you Fabio and Francisco. You made our 2 nights stay enjoyable.

Small but very clean and comfortable room near Vatican - the center of Rome. Great breakfasts - croissants, cookies, flakes, wonderful bean coffee, juice, fruits and yogurts. It was served in the basement and very substantial. The bed linen and towels were very clean and snow-white. It is possible to walk to many attractions.
