The location is superb, as close to anything you'd need and want, including all the major things to see in Rome. Also very close to the metro like for easy access to anywhere else. The staff were superb, friendly and very accommodating as well as helpful.

I think 4 star in Italy vs 4 star abroad are two different things. The room was dated - I understand the buildings are historic and hard to renovate so no issues with that, however, duct tape on my shower handle and rusted pipes can easily be fixed. You're getting this room for the location not for the amenities.

I just love the vicinity of the Spanish Steps, via Condotti, and in general historical center of Rome.

This hotel is very comfortable, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely stay again. The location is ideal, right in the heart of everything. Literally just around the corner from the Spanish Steps, with the Trevi Fountain only a short walk away. Ideal base from which to walk around the city. The Colosseum and the Vatican are around a half hour walk away (in opposite directions).

Would like tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was great! I also really liked the location. It's in a wonderful neighborhood with many good restaurants and only a 3 min walk from the Spanish Steps.

I booked a room for 1 person. On Booking.com you don't always know whether you get one single bed or a two person bed. This time I got a one person bed which was fine. The problem came when I invited a girl who I met in Roma over to spend the night at my hotel. We did this on two nights. Normally this would have been no problem but the hotel charged me extra for her staying over. Citing 'fire dangers' and other such things as their reason. Of course they are in their right to charge me for that, but I still didn't like it. I wish they could have given me a warning first. I've never had this happen to me before at other hotels. This was my only complaint. Everything else about the hotel and the staff was great.

The location of the hotel cannot be beat. I was at the Spanish Steps less than thirty seconds after walking out of the front door of the hotel. The Trevi Fountain was only about five minutes away. There were plenty of good cafes around the hotel as well. The room was very quiet as well. The staff were uniformly excellent. They were courteous, efficient, and professional. I came into Rome very early. The front desk staff stored my bag, so that I could explore the city. I was given good advice on nearby restaurants. Everyone to whom I spoke was polite and friendly. The level of service was outstanding. One of the best places I stayed while in Italy. Great value for the money. I will definitely book Hotel Homs again on my next trip to Rome.

I had no real complaints about the hotel. The room was small, but it was certainly adequate for my needs.

the bast location in roma . 1 min' to piazza d' Spagna . 3 min to piazza d' Trevi , 5 min to piazza Navone and pantheon ,12 min coliseum , 1 min metro station .lot of restaurants and shops down thar .very usefully staff . good air-condition

the breakfast are very basically and no eggs no omelet very expensive and not worth . their is many bakery down there we prefers to give up the breakfast and go bay outside.

Nice older room with classic style & comfortable bed. Most of the reception staff very kind, thoughtful & helpful but one was seeming to have a bad day & was quite unfriendly. Great location.

Yes, my room was soundproofed from outside noises but I could hear always other guests speaking in hallway & slamming doors, vacuums & lots of noise from housekeeping. So actually these rooms are not really "soundproofed".

Very friendly personal ...almost everyone spoke English, even the room maid!!

I found the room inferior to what I was expecting.Bathroom with almost all tiles broken, one had to climb through a very narrow stair to the 5th floor, without elevator...On my last dayI asked for help with my luggage, which I got immediately...

Beautiful location near the Spanish Steps in the historic center of Rome: Walking distance to “everything”. Friendly staff and a simple, but tasty breakfast. Large room.

The room was a little dated, and especially the shower in the bathroom could have needed an update. The written instructions how to operate the safe in the room was not correct. We had to call the reception for help about this.
