Twentyone Hotel

We had a room facing up the street which had a good view. Noise from traffic did not bother us. Room fully equipped with free tea and coffee, fridge (mini bar prices not too bad) which we used to keep our water cool, toiletries (mini ones replaced as used) there was shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in shower, nice size television. Breakfast had many choices, not just continental, with fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages available. Used their restaurant once on first night for evening meal, food was ok but nothing special. Location is perfect we walked to all major attractions. We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and it was good then with no issues, even better this time . Hotel arranged transport for us to and from airport.

Evening meal could have been slightly better. My husbands chicken dish he enjoyed, I had veal which was rather tasteless l

Location - In an upmarket road with designer shops, eating places, patisseries and supermarkets. It is within 20-25 minute walk from the Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spannish steps and 20 minute drive to the Colosseum. We did not use the hotel restaurant except for breakfast. Siciliaroma almost in front of the hotel and Catanese down the road opposite to the hotel (Via Lucrezio Caro) were very good. Staff Front desk - Federica, Andreas and Tatiana were very helpful in more ways than one and very friendly. The Breakfast staff were also friendly. Very clean and modern throughout. Very good shower and change facility, before going to the airport in the evening, if we had checked out in the morning. Kettle, tea & coffee on request in line with most hotel post pandemic. Good Breakfast.

Room and bathroom size - compact and just enough. Not much of a sitting area in the reception.

It was in a very good location. Since we had a quite short trip we decided to walk to every place we wanted to visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And even though it might not seem like a big deal, then even the cleaners were super nice and friendly (it’s not always like this in hotels). Thank you for a great experience!

If there is something I was not too happy about, were the pilliows, which were quite stiff. But since pilliws are very specific and different for everyones liking then it’s also understandable that they might not be suitable for every single person. :)

The property is located in an amazing area, all the tourist attractions being very easy to reach by public transportation or even on foot if you enjoy walking for a couple of minutes. We got a room with quite a big shower which was very nice, the bathroom itself was very beautiful and the we had a nice view on the main street.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was not the best we’ve ever had, especially that the hotel is rated at 4*. There were no options for lactose intolerant people (not even milk, let alone yoghurts or so) and the only pastries you could choose from were plain croissants or croissants with marmalade. Honestly, the breakfast did disappoint a little, but in comparison with all the other aspects the value of the room was overall okay. Also, there was a huge stain on one of the walls in our room (I’m assuming a water infiltration), but nothing so bad that we’ve had to complain about it.

the location is good, there are a couple of bars near and generally it’s a good walking distance between the main attractions and the bus station to/from the airport. Also, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very polite.

the room was not the best looking and for the price we paid, we expected more. Kinda disappointed because the photos on Booking can be a bit deceiving. There are no balconies and the bathroom doesn’t lock, which is not something that we are used to.

All staff were really friendly and happy to help, nothing was trouble. Also very efficient. The housekeeper was superb!!! The room was absolutely spotless every day with black glass walls pretty tough, fridge fully stocked up and she even placed my daughter's toys in lovely arrangements every day. -:) Rooms were good size and had comfy bed. Powerful air-conditioning. Location was great not far from the centre in reasonable distance to the main attractions. Still it was quiet in the night. Food was delicious even for a challenging eater. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Clean, location, staff

Terrible internet connection almost none! Wi fi very bad and signal terrible Rooms too dark! Not enough light bulbs or lamps Do not like shape of bed! I am tall and hate to sleep un the middle of the bed! Shape is like half circle

Big and very comfortable bed, the room was big too. Very clean room, seats and bathroom. The breakfast was nice too with all you wait for in a European breakfast. The hotel is almost 20 minutes from the center on foot, and it is a very nice neighbourhood.Vatican is near as well 10-15 minutes in foot. We really enjoyed our stay there and thank god we did not stayed at the centre.

The restaurant could be decorated better as the rest of the hotel was very modern.

Location was great. 10 minute walk from tourist hotspots in all locations. Next to a lovely shopping street. Rooms were comfortable, beds were good. All in all great place. Breakfast was okay. Could do with a few more fresh options.

The restaurant seemed a bit outdated already, and despite being renovated just a few years ago the hotel did not have airco in the rooms (didn’t think to check beforehand)

The location and staff of the hotel was really great. Finding an excuse is really hard. The stuff were so helpful, whenever i asked a question, they tried to do their best at any time. The next time when i go to Rome, i will not search any other hotels and will directly choose the same hotel.
