La Locanda Di Orsaria

The location is excellent, very close to the train station and on the same side so you don’t have to cross any bridges with your luggage. It is also very close to the Grand Canal. The breakfast was good but not quite as elaborate as some we had. The room was smallish but perfectly fine for 2 people. The hotel was located down a laneway and was vert quiet.

It was a bit strange that you had to check in at another hotel across the lane but it all worked ok. We were aware that there was no lift but if you have a lot of luggage it could difficult.

Overall, my experience at this hotel was positive. The location is excellent, just two blocks from the train station, making it convenient for travelers. The breakfast provided was excellent, offering a variety of options. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facilities was top-notch.

The only downside was the inconvenience of having to check in and check out at another hotel located across the street. This process could be streamlined for a smoother experience.

Staff and location. Staff was excellent. We had a complicated schedule (late check-in, early check-out) and added difficulties (small children) and they helped us in everything: As we had to leave very soon, they evn left us breakfast prepared. Location is ideal for those who -as we did- have to arrive and leave early, since it is very close to the railway station and the Piazzale Roma where buses and taxis depart from, being at the same time apart from the main tourist stream.

There is nothing to complain about. I would have liked a place with views but you can't get everything (the hotel is in an alley). Obviously, if you want a very central hotel, this is not the choice, but it is well connected.

The hotel is only about 200m from the main Venice train station - perfect location close to vaporetto stop, with shops, stalls and restaurants all around. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed incl a/c, fridge and kettle. Room was serviced daily.

No lift - as with a lot of old heritage buildings in Venice No on-site reception - check-in was at a sister property nearby.

Location was close to restaurants and main attractions. Clean, excellent front desk service, reservation came with breakfast which has quite a good spread

The heater/ac was starting and stopping intermittently during the night which was hard to ignore when asleep.

Location is superb only 4minutes from st lucia station. Check in time little bit late at 14.00 compare to other hotel but they let us keep our luggage at the hotel. This hotel has lift and room was good, comfortable enough. Breakfast was simple, after all we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is located steps from Santa Lucia Train Station on a VERY quiet small alley. Perfect location to avoid carrying luggage thru crowds or over bridge stairs. Small and simple hotel but I would gladly stay here again. Reception Lady Annika gave us a detailed map of how to get around Venice - which was Super Helpful. Room was clean, quiet and roomy. Breakfast was easy and plentiful.

Only issue was that the breakfast room was super small and the lady working seemed overwhelmed.

The location is perfect, close to the train station. Room and beds are confortable, the room is perfectly isolated from noise and light. We slept very well. Breakfast is ok.

Even if for us it was not a problem, it needs to highlight that the hotel has no elevator.

no cups and kettle inside the room, needs to ask the staffs for collecting in other buildings reception. only 1 tiny bottle gel for using both hair and body wash, I needs request another bottle for my 2nd shower.

Convenient location, close to rail station. Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

If you have bad knees, or mobility issues, there is no elevator….just stairs!! Other than that….. no worries at all!!
