Quest Newmarket Serviced Apartments

The location was really good for me, as I was accompanied by a toddler. Close to parks and an indoor soft play. Transport links were excellent and we were also only 10 mins from a big Westfield shopping centre. There were various restaurants on our door step and a 30min bus ride from Potters Park which has a splash park my son loved. When I go back to Auckland I will be staying at Quest Newmarket again. Couldn’t have been happier. And thank you to the lovely staff.

There is a restaurant/ bar opposite hotel which gets a little loud at the weekends but that’s not the fault of the hotel.

Cleanliness of room each day was outstanding. Also staff after hours were kind enough to help with my luggage as lift was out of order when I arrived and I have health isswhich made carrying suitcases up stairs impossible. So great marks for customer service

The hotel recommended using a shuttle bus service from airport. This cost me double what an Uber would and took over an hour due to the number of drop off points, meaning I missed reception being open and the ability to feel I could safely go out at night for food in a place I’d not been before. I wouldn’t continue to promote the bus service if I was quest

The location was amazing! Just seconds away from restaurants across the street and minutes from shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke to you, no matter how many times they've seen you that day. The room was cute and quaint. The ammenties of the room made you feel like you were at home, not a hotel. We felt right at home. The cleaning staff freshens the room every day. The washer/dryer was such a help. I washed before we left and saved me the trouble for when I got home. They provide the detergent, but no fabric softener. Luckily, I brought my own.

I didn't like that we arrived at 6:45am and the staff didn't arrive until 8am. We had to wait outside in the cold. That may have been poor planning on my part. We had a king-size bed. In room 403, the right side was lumpy and uneven. I had to sleep closet to the window under my husband to get comfortable. The mattress needs to be changed. There wasn't much storage for your clothes. The closet only had 5-6 hangers.

Safe and great for families. Location is very near shopping with two large malls nearby along with the two largest grocery store chains. Lots of choices in Japanese, Chinese, Italian, sports pub food. The rooms are clean and well designed. Small kitchen is nice for preparing snacks. We had a group of four and the staff were very nice to upgrade us to a 3 BR from the 2 BR that we booked. Many thanks for this.

Not much to complain about. Small thing is that maybe they could offer a coffee machine instead of instant coffee. There are many coffee shops and coffee stands just outside the hotel that serve starting at 7 AM so it's really no problem finding the morning cup of Joe.

Size of our studio room was better than we expected and had kitchen facilities we didn't expect. Super king bed was a bonus. Good sized bathroom. Location was great with good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Archies restaurant was amazing totally authentic Italian, and super friendly staff. Check in was easy and pleasant staff. Didn't hear any noise from outside. Parking was easy but didn't realise we needed to prior book. However there was a carpark available for us upon check in. Would definitely recommend, and will satay again in the future.

Nothing at all

We were running later than expected, but receptionist was waiting for us on arrival. She didn't complain that we were late and made us feel most welcome. We've never stayed on the restaurant side of the motel in the many times we have stayed there and were pleasantly surprised that noise was not a factor. We always appreciate the well sized rooms and stocked kitchen.

We have nothing to complain about!

We were a little concered about the term apartment, but this property turned out fine. Professional staff. Clean apartment. Felt like it had been recently remodeled. Utility kitchen was organized and prepared/equippe for use. King size bed was comfortable. Bathroom had smart sized laundry and dryer machine with powder soap provided. Property has elevator. It was a perfect place for two adult travelers to rest and regroup for a couple nights.

The AT train did run past the building, but the vibration was hardly noticeable to us.

The woman at the reception desk was really lovely and brought our bags to our room when we wanted to go out and shop for the day before we could check in. This was really helpful as it meant my friend and I did not have to carry our luggage around with us during the day. The view from our room was also really nice. Overall, we had such a nice experience, would definitely go back and would recommend to other people.

Location was great, close to restaurants and short walk to Westfield. Had a nice view of the Auckland Museum. Room was quiet and allowed for open windows and small juliet balcony. Kitchenette was good for making light meals. Easy undercover parking at additional cost per day. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Would have been good to have options other than free to air like Sky TV.

Loved the location, easy access for parking, beautiful greeting from your staff at the reception especially the Island lady apology can’t remember her name. Over all your staff were lovely and friendly, professional and attentive to our needs, the rooms hygiene impeccable can not fault. Drop of a hat my family and I would use your accommodation again, I will certainly recommend your apartments to friends, family and colleagues. Thank you for making our stay pleasurable.
