Ramada by Wyndham Newmarket Auckland

The customer service from the reception staff was exceptional, I loved the quiet and relaxed atmosphere in the lobby as well. Our room was most definitely the perfect suit for our needs and wants during our stay, I will be coming back again for my next hotel getaway. Location is another winner very central to alot of different city centre locations as well. Very very convenient 👌

Unfortunately I didn't like the fact that I was unable to leave earlier as there was someone parked behind me and also being told to drive over the little curb even though that was possible, not something I would continue to accept my car did not like that minuva

Luke and his colleagues were really accomodating as I had some requests. As I was suposed to meet my travel group a few days after arrival I choose the Ramada from the very first day in Auckland and it was perfect! I picked an apartment with washing amenities which was also absolutely quiet, super spacious and the internet worked so well to do some WhatsApp-Calls home. The Westfield Mall is another big plus - just across the street and as the hotel itself has no restaurant they deliver breakfast for you to the room which you can choose the evening before. Really delicious - also my group liked it a lot!

Great option for a Newmarket stay within a stone's throw of great shopping, movies, restaurants, supermarket etc. The compact room non-motorway facing that I booked had no noise from outside at all which is great given it is a very busy part of town. The room was compact as described but comfortable and clean. The air-conditioning worked extremely well. The reception staff were all very friendly. The parking was expensive but easy and convenient.

The mounting of the TV on the wall was on an extendable arm, which was wholly unnecessary in such a compact room, and it stuck out several inches from the wall meaning walking around the bed you were likely to get hit in the shoulder by the corner of the TV each time as the space around the foot of the bed is narrow. It's a bit of a safety hazard I think, and the TV could easily be mounted flat to the wall.

Location was very handy for our needs. I was there with my 83 year old mother (she was visiting from overseas) in a studio apartment . Family members around Auckland could come quickly and easily to visit her and take her shopping or visiting. I brought my work so I stayed in the appt ( cot bed at nights) and worked at the dinning table. I was able to keep her company and look after when she needed. So, the comfortable, spacious accommodation non-motorway facing and the very helpful location meant we were able to ensure our mother had a very pleasant experience visiting us. Thank you, Ramada.

My daughter and I flew to Auckland from Christchurch for one night as I had to come for a medical appointment. I booked into the Ramada as it was close to where I had to go and also close to the mall. The hotel was exceptional. We were greeted by super friendly staff members who immediately made us feel welcome. Our room was exceptional. Clean, smelt amazing and everything you need. . The bed was super comfy and the view was awesome. Even though we were right beside the motorway there was no traffic noise. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone. We will definitely stay again.

the star was very friendly and got me a room as soon as I did arrive even though it was earlier than normal check in time. Location is great for a short stay to discover the Newmarket area of Auckland and the war memorial museum.

The breakfast can be delivered to your room but it does only include pastries or fruit and yogurt or salty dish options. The pastries were excellent but the bagel with salmon did not seem fresh made.

lovely clean property and most of the people were amazing too. the room had nearly everything you needed and the bed was really comfortable! showers had good pressure. an added bonus that it had a washing machine and dryer. I definitely rate the hotel as one of the best I’ve stayed in

I called the night duty manager because we only had 4 towels instead of 6. (there was 6 of us) I also said there wasn’t enough toilet paper In there and a salt missing as I didn’t want to get charged. She sounded Samoan but was a little bit rude. 1st she said, actually the room you’re in is in someone else’s name. in which I had to explain it isn’t. and 2nd she said she would get someone onto it. she didn’t. I had to ring up reception the next day to get it sorted. one of the samaon cleaning ladies looked after us and sorted it out the next morning.

The staff were so helpful and considerate, whilst accommodating myself and friends for my father's funeral. Special thanks to Luke Fowler at Reception, who was so kind and prompt in helping me with computer queries and printing my eulogy (numerously). As others also did. Also, so refreshing to have a smiling, welcoming housekeeping team - it really all made such a difference at a difficult time. A big thank you to you all. Keep up the great work.

It’s location in the heart of Newmarket. Compact room. Basic but has everything you need, perfect for those just wanting a place to land after a day of shopping or sight seeing. Well worth the money paid especially if don’t care about all the extras you pay for in a fancy hotel. This property I swear has the cleanest lifts in Auckland city! Pristine!

It’s quite dark in the entrance at night and tucked down a dark alley, i felt a little anxious coming in at night. Some better lighting would make female guests feel a little more secure.

We were attending a function at the Westfield so this location was ideal. Staff are lovely and very responsive. Complimentary tea and coffee when you arrive is a lovely touch.

Aircon in our room was set to 24 and was unbearably hot. Staff responsive and bought up a fan until they could fix the problem. Bathroom in our room was tiny but it was marketed as a small room so we were expecting it. A shame there is no lobby bar or cafe facilities on site. You have to leave to get food sorted.
