TURIM Lisboa Hotel

Very good location, friendly and helpful staff, walking distance (if you don't mind half an hour walk though) to most of the sights. Room was very tidy, must add these were also one of the comfiest beds I every slept on in a hotel. Overall, price/value ratio is a big advantage to chose this place for your stay in Lisabon!

You can notice hotel is bit older and needs some sort of renovation soon. On one hand you have to appreciate the history of it, on the other, some updates are needed.

I had a booking for two nights with my friend, no breakfast included. We wanted to explore Lisboa during the weekend. The location of the hotel was really nice for us as it was near the subway, park Eduardo, Avenida de Liberdad, big shopping mall, as well as great cafes and supermarkets. To go to the old town we needed around 40mins, and this is exactly what we wanted - to have a pleasant long walk around the city center. Eventually, I find the choice of the TURIM hotel very suitable for our needs (siteseeing, walking, eating in nice cafes, shopping). I'm totally satisfied with this hotel. BTW, it was quite close to the airport as well.

I can't think of anything, really. All the facilities were quite good. Probably, the sewerage could be better, as it took some time for the water in the washbasin to go through.

The time we had at this hotel was very short because we were in-between flights. The young lady working at the front desk did everything possible to make our stay pleasant and to help us get the most sleep possible. She arranged a taxi to the airport for us at 4:30 in the morning, after us having arrived at around midnight due to airline delays. She arranged a wake-up call for us and she checked us in super fast. Everything was clean and we were close to the airport. Her attention made us wish we had more time in Lisbon.

I wish we had had more time. The rooms were simple and clean.

Staff, extremely helpful

Breakfast advertised on Booking.Com at €5 per day per person. On arrival we were informed that it is €10 per person per day.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room decor could be considered old fashioned but we preferred this to a soulless, modern one. It was spacious/warm and beds comfortable. Relatively quiet even though faced the street. The hotel is NOT in the centre of Lisbon but in the end, we found this a bonus rather than an issue. Only a couple of stops away from centre.

There were too few electrical sockets (the hotel did give us an extension cable on request but in the high season these may not be readily available, so consider taking own). They were a bit stingy with the tea/coffee facilities in the room so we ended up buying some. We also had to ask twice for them to turn the mini-bar fridge on so we could keep our milk chilled! The room keys (cards) were a bit hit and miss and we had to keep getting them re-booted. But all of these were minor issues in the overall scheme of things.

We had a fantastic stay. Big clean comfortable rooms, good choice at breakfast, very friendly staff. The room had a kettle in it which was a bonus. Close to amenities and metro. We would stay here again.

Very minor issue where lots of young families seem to have been staying at the same time as us so we had to take turns with high chairs at breakfast but the staff were very helpful and the other guests were very considerate as our baby was the youngest. I would recommend for the hotel to invest in a few more highchairs for the busier months

Hotel was in a great location. Not far from the train station and also close to the airport. Location was kind of residential but with some good restaurants nearby. There's also an Aldi's for any shopping needs. Many tree-lined streets. Two blocks away there's a really great cafe for breakfast.

There was no bathmat in the bathtub so I slipped and hurt my knee when I got in to take a shower after a long train trip. Otherwise everything else was great. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Breakfast has a wide variety of products to choose from. Nicely organized and didn't have to line up for food. Room was spacious and clean, no humidity. Liked that window could be opened even on the 7th floor to get some fresh air. Location very central, easy reachable by metro from airport. Main tourist attractions easily accessible with a 20-40 min walk. Some good restaurants nearby, also high end fashion stores just around the corner. And a lot of green areas nearby.

Pillows were super uncomfy and mattress was fine but not very ergonomic. Coffee at the breakfast was a disappointment considering that hotel is located in Portugal and 4*, coffee should be excellent.

Comfortable 2 single beds in a double room, nice decour & friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious & had a good variety of options. We had an issue at the airport with our luggage so it arrived a day after us & the staff held it until we came back which was very reassuring.

My friends room shower was a little confusing & the cleaning staff did not know how to help get it to work, but reception told us & we were able to use it afterwards. The some (not all) the cups were a little grubby & not well cleaned in the room. The bath & shower in both rooms weren't cleaned properly. The coffee was not replenished in all the rooms (we got some, but our friends room didn't 2 days running).

The room is big and comfortable and has a fantastic balcony. Except for an ancient TV set, the room is really lovely and shiny. Even the hotel looks pretty old, but it is really clean and well maintained.

The breakfast is very boring and doesn't offer any vegetable. You don't even want to turn on the 80s aged TV in the room.
