well located and clean, great restaurant and breakfast

paying for a deluxe river view room and receiving a room facing a side street. the staff unapologetically stated that they were out of the room we had prepaid for and refused to credit us for the difference. just too bad for you was the response

Great location, and the staff were lovely.

The downside of the location is the very noisy British Bar right next door. The music and patrons of the bar were distractingly loud until 2 or 3AM most nights of our stay.

The staff were always just super, and we gave them a joint tip to reflect our appreciation for their professional and friendly service at all times, regardless of the hour. We loved the room as well, with a fabulous view and room to relax. Just darling!

I would have preferred that the breakfast was included in the room rate, but I am finding that this is a benefit that is going away by most properties, unfortunately. Value is very important to us. Also, there was noise every night from Pink Street, but the property has done absolutely everything possible to mitigate it, and we slept mostly well after our long days of sightseeing, regardless.

We stayed for 4 nights at LX boutique hotel in the beginning of August. We had the best time. Room 505 was beautifully decorated with a really spacious interior, large bed, central location. The balcony had some incredible views and it was really peaceful. The room was very clean and staff were very friendly and incredibly accommodating in helping me celebrate my birthday. Our room was facing the water and it was quiet - we had no issues sleeping at night at all, the beds were so comfortable. Location wise it was perfect and there were so many food options locally including the Time out Market and it was easy to walk to the all the attractions we wanted to see. We were spoilt for choice and only wish we stayed for longer.

We really enjoyed our stay. Would have been nice to have a kettle and tea selection in the room, but that was provided upon request from the wonderful staff team.

Location was great! Hotel is beautiful, rooms were comfortable, appreciated that they have a Nespresso coffee machine in the lobby that makes a terrific expresso. The hotel bar/restaurant was great for breakfast and the cocktail we had one evening. Really appreciated that when we arrived a 7:00 am after a red eye flight from the United States, that one of our rooms was available and they let us in. It was so nice to be able to lay down for a few minutes and freshen up. Highly recommend.

Several reviews mentioned the late night noise from the bars. The hotel is situated above Pink Street, which the center of Lisbon nightlife. Our rooms were on the first floor, and our windows overlooked Pink Street. The first night, Wednesday, I didn't hear a thing, my husband did hear music, but was faint. Thursday night was much louder, the bars and clubs were still parting at 4:00 am, but it was just the steady sound of music. You could definitely hear it from the room, but the hotel does provide ear plugs, and if you have background noise on from an app, it is manageable. Just be aware that the night life sound could be an issue for you if you are particularly sensitive to noise at night.

The bathroom. Glass wall with a frosted part for privacy? why?? It was very odd ,unless you enjoy seeing the blurred image of someone sitting on the toilet. Also, they need to spend some money on some better noise reducing windows . When we arrived and found earplugs provided, I was like UT oh. Sure enough, LOUD bar music that went on until 5am. 5am!!!! Earplugs are a pathetic offer. As a 4 star hotel, better soundproof windows, even a noise dampening curtain would be in order. Or at least warn people with those rooms, you will not be getting much sleep. Hotel advertised breakfast. We never saw nor was any mention made of breakfast. Beds were just ok. Cheap matresses.

Location was great but definitely in a party atmosphere. With ear plugs, slept well. Our other party struggled the first night , then ok , after adjusting. Staff were great! Always pleasant and helpful. Loved being able to walk everywhere. Such a great city.

Breakfast. Very weak. Coffee from a machine… really? Also section was weak. Fruit was not very good and not much of it. Noise level… well, ear plugs helped. Great windows. I booked 2 rooms and chose the hotel. Definitely got the lesser nice room of the 2 rooms. A bit frustrating. But good enough.

Staff on reception were excellent very helpful for advising on some excellent restaurants, as well as tram routes and general guidance around Lisbon breakfast was excellent as were the rooms and facilities, good shower etc

we were on the 2nd floor fronting the road (city view) and over looking “the pink strip/road, this is a busy drinking/entertainment zone loud noise and boom boom music till the early hours that vibrates through the old building rooms are double glazed but still doesn’t detract from the noise. There isn’t a lot the hotel can do about this and would consider would be the same in most vibrant cities

LX  boutique has small rooms but they are really well laid out. Our room had a modern bathroom and lots of drawer and shelf space. The location may be noisy but the hotel provides ear plugs! Noise was actually no problem during our stay Beware of the rim entering and leaving the bathroom. It is a hazard for toe stubbing. This is a lovely place with great staff. It is well located. The hotel is literally steps away from a metro and train stop. You can take the metro to the hotel with only one transfer, and you can take the train to Cascais (unfortunately the trains were on strike during our visit). You are one block away from the beautiful Time Out Market and a few blocks away from the main square.

We had no complaints!

Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom. Brilliant location. Staff provided assistance when asked. Couldn't understand booking whether breakfast was or wasn't included. However, in hindsight good value for money compared to what the charges were elsewhere. TV accessibility of channels great. Complementary port and pastel de nata excellent in the afternoon.

Lack of space, and hanging area for clothes, though had read about this in reviews. Soundproofing as evenings and night could be noisy. Couldn't find coffee facilities in reception until checking out.
