- Hotel design is elegant and cute. - Location can't be better, it's right in the middle of the city center. - Rooms are well isolated from outside noise. - Very good breakfast, specially the fresh fruit. - Judging by the pictures the rooms looked quite small but they are not and are very well distributed. - The bathroom is very spacious, it has a big window which is perfect for ventilation and the shower is great. - Rituals toiletries - Friendly staff
- No tea pot/tea bags in the room. - It would be greatly appreciated if the used drinking glasses in the room could be replaced more regularly. During my stay, I noticed that mine were never swapped for clean ones.

The location was great, quite central but not chaotically busy; particularly loved how close it was to the promenade and the river. The room was comforable, perfectly functional with a nice design to it. The staff was helpful and always present at the desk.
The bed was a bit small, a bigger bed would be more comfortable for the guests. It happened once hat a bad odour wad released into the room, realizing that it comes from the ventilation system; probably because of the heatwave that day.

This hotel’s name sometimes includes the word “Charming”, an appropriate description for this lovely hotel ideally located in the heart of the old city, a few blocks from the waterfront. Despite looking down on busy Augusta Street, vibrant with restaurants (many outdoors) and shops, when you shut the well insulated windows, it was perfectly quiet in our room on the 3rd floor (and I am pretty sensitive to noise). In addition, the sounds (when you had the windows open) were more the bustling of a vibrant, rather than yahoo neighbourhood. There were also no loud music anywhere in the downtown core, and the whole area was quiet during the night. The staff were wonderful, including a manager who helped us when we had a problem getting transportation on the day we were leaving. The included breakfast was served in a well-windowed restaurant where you could people watch, while getting ready for a day of walking the downtown. This location is so great for walking all of the downtown areas of Lisbon, taking in the historical and scenic charms of the various and unique neighbourhoods. The room was very comfortable, clean, the shower was hot and water pressure good. The room wasn’t large, but it served the purpose. We loved Lisbon, and this hotel was a big part of that.
Minor complaints, given that we would definitely come back here. The room was quite small and contained almost no storage. There were no drawers to put clothes in, so we had to lay our suitcases open (mine on the floor), and put some things in the windowsill. The bathroom was quite large, and could have provided another opportunity for storage, but there was none. As I said, minor complaints in an otherwise ideal and welcoming hotel.

The location was perfect, right in the center of all the food stores and shopping and 5 min walk to the pier. They gave us complimentary pastelitos de nata which I enjoyed. The room was spacious, came with bathrobes, and the TV had English channels. The main entrance locks at night time so you need a key to enter the premises which made us feel safe. The room was very clean and had everything we needed.
The shower was big and open. However, the water would collect on the bottom and if you open the door to go out and grab something and come back inside and close the door again, it would push all the water outside the shower. Even if you close it slowly.

The hotel was very nice, right in the middle of a central area. I really liked the mattress but I like a firmer mattress and it may not be for everyone. The room was fairly compact but I knew that going in. I liked the headboard or whatever you want to call it. The space was limited so all the little nooks in the headboard helped keep things organized. I loved the doors on the windows, they really helped block out the noise from the busy streets below. The shower wand broke in my hand one morning but I told the front desk and it was fixed by the time I got back.
The bathroom was the worst part for me. It was really small and rundown looking. The walls looked like they hadn't been painted in years. The shower had 2 doors that came together to close it off from the rest of the room, and it was very claustrophobic for me. The one side kept coming off the track, and the other side kept sliding shut so that when I was standing in front of vanity, I'd hit my elbow on it. I ended up wedging a towel under the door to keep it open. I also had to shut the bathroom door just so I could fully stand in front of vanity to get ready.

Very friendly staff who advised us on places to visit and how to get there e.g. which bus to take. I'm a Coeliac - they provided me with a warm gluten-free bread roll and chocolate muffin at breakfast, and most of their buffet was GF except the croissants and pastries so I had plenty of options. Thanks to the staff for being so helpful and friendly! Perfect location - almost everything we wanted to see was within a 20 minute walk of the hotel, except Belem which was easy to get to from the bus stop nearby.
The room was quite small, so it was a little tight for space.

when we entered the hotel it smelt amazing. We arrived quite late at night and could grab a glass of flavoured water while checking in. Our room was upgraded to one with a view and it was spectacular. A free bottle of red wine as we entered our room was also waiting for us. With dressing gowns and slippers. Everyday the room was tidied and we were really impressed. I celebrated my birthday whilst there and on my birthday I came back up to the room to a bottle of Prosecco and brownies. Such a lovely gesture! really impressed with this hotel, the location was amazing and the service was just exceptional. Would definitely stay again. So relaxing.
Only thing is the air conditioning could go colder as we are from Ireland and Scotland so we are not used to hot weather!

Our stay at My Story Hotel Augusta further exceeded all expectations. The staff were super friendly and attended to all our requests. The location of the hotel was very central and a short walking distance from all the main attractions as well as bus/train/tram stations. The room was quite spacious and clean - with beautiful views of the city. Even though located on a busy street, the room itself was quiet. The breakfast selection was also great. And I really loved the pasteis de nada treat in the room on arrival. I would 100% recommend this hotel

Well, at the first glance I liked the location, it was 20 minutes away from airport. It was central with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops all around the hotel. I liked that there was a balcony in the bathroom very much. The shower was great. There was a kettle in the room which was a plus to me. Also the complementary pasties de Nata was just perfect and on time. I was starving and they saved me and was a very nice Gesture. :) Reception folks were amazing, very nice and supportive.
The bed was very good but wasn't super comfy. There was a smell in the room, but it vanished as soon as I opened the balcony. Other than this everything was perfect.

The location is probably the best you can have in Lisbon, right in the heart of the city. The personnel was all very nice, polite and friendly: reception, cleaning, bar/restaurant. I liked the welcome present, and was more than happily surprised by my birthday present offered by the hotel brought to my room. The personnel at the reception has always patiently given me the various explanations I was looking for. In this area the streets are noisy, but once you close the windows you can't hear anything from outside. And the air con works perfectly well.
The only slight disadvantage is the size of the room. A bit small, but I guess that palace-size rooms are rare in this historical district.
