Stay Hotel Lisboa Centro Chiado

Comfortable spacious room. Neat and clean. Well equipped. Rooms are well insulated acoustically, street noise doesnt disturb even though its so close to main happening street with evening/night crowds Excellent location, just next to metro station and close to major city attractions. Good wifi. Easy checkin

Room facilities like tea, coffee satchets, water bottles should be topped up daily for which we had to give multiple reminders and still it wasn't done every evening. Lighting levels in the room are a bit dim, minor issue but sometimes is a bit difficult to do without the main room lighting.

Great location, very close to the main Lisbon attractions with plenty of great restaurants nearby! We had a balcony which was nice, good aircon, clean shower, clean bedsheets etc. A solid basic room.

The check-in was overly complicated, we were vaccinated and had printed test results but the receptionist insisted on sending the test results to the Hotel's email, which was not on hand and we ended up having to do that a few times. They also didn't offer any milk with their tea/coffee and when we asked for some we were poured some in a cup and then charged for it lolol

The property is very close to Baixa/Chiado Metro Station. Room is spacious with many power points for us to charge our phones. Well equiped with kettle and hair dryer . The reception staff are extremely helpful especially Ecuador . He assisted us with booking of train tickets and provided information on shopping, supermarkets etc. We had breakfast in the hotel every morning we were there. Enjoyed the different varieties of pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice , fresh fruits and rich coffee.

Excellent location, wonderful and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, airconditioning working very good, sheets and towels very clean.

In our "suite" beds were on a higher level than the living room, with around 20 steps to climbe -- I would have preferred a level floor -- otherwise it should habve been explicitly mentioned when booking. Light was very poor in the room, especially downstairs.

Stay Hotel Lisboa Centro Chiado is located in the heart of downtown Lisbon. Many of the city main attractions are closeby. Just around the corner is the must-see Santa Justa Lift. Advice don’t buy a ticket and waste your time to queue because you can walk easily to the viewpoint behind the Carmo Church for free! On a few minutes walking distance you will arrive at Praça do Comércio and nearby the hotel you will find also numerous shopping streets like Rue Garrett. Furthermore in the surrounding streets there are many restaurants, theaters and cafés as well. Plenty of options by the way as an alternative for the hotel breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently located next to subway station Baixa Chiado just perfect with luggage. We stayed in a Twin Superior room, which was spacious, with comfy beds and furnished in a modern style. The room (no.110 suitable for disabled) faced the street side opposite The George Pub, which had live music every night till 1:00AM. More noise came from emptying multiple garbage containers every single night. If you value your night rest or just do not like British music please request a room on the other side of the building. Improvement ideas are adding a hook to hang the shower head, more space at the bathroom sink to put things and please do something to solve the sewage smell on the ground floor this is jsut not very welcoming. Overall I think the hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay in Lisbon and perfect to explore the city due to the central location.

The location is excellent. It is right next to the Metro and right in the heart of the city. Everything is walking distance. The staff are all very friendly. They gave us tips on how to navigate the city and where to find great restos.

There was one unfortunate event when the fire alarm went off. It was a false alarm though. The hotel staff told us that it was the first time that an incident like that happened. This should not be taken against the hotel. It did not affect our over-all impression of the hotel.

The toilet--> I'm not enthusiastic when there is no option to be isolated when you poop:) Our toilet had just 'symbolic' sliding glass door which actually didn't do the job:) I had to go downstairs to the lobby when I wanted to be really alone:) And I recommend to improve the smell in the corridors. I mean the place is clean and nice, and modern. But the smell in the corridor (at least in the third level) was like in the old place. The smell in the room was ok but it could be better in the corridor.

The check in and check out process was excellent. The staff was very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Eduardo. The elevator is very handy and wide. Hotel has a very good access through Metro, bus and Uber. The rooms are clean. If you want your room to be cleaned, drop the sign. . But consider it. Would I stay here again? Definitely yes. Extremely good location.

The most important hint: 1. If you are sensitive to the noises and loud music forget this hotel or bring your ear plugs. Or avoid the rooms facing the street. 2. If you are very disabled and cannot walk or you use a wheelchair, be advised that there is a very small piece of slope connecting the hotel to Rua Agusta. The Chaido Metro however can be accessed easily and there is an elevator in the hotel.The breakfast was not very special so we decided to have it on the many bakeries around. As I mentioned, the rooms are not sound proof and there is a bar just across from the hotel that has live music every night (which might be not bad afterall). I am a light sleeper but I had no problem with that using my ear plugs

The location of the Hotel is perfect. I booked to stay there because it was a few minutes walk to the Opera House, which I was in Lisbon to go see an Opera there. To my delight, it was just as close to everywhere else. The Metro station was literally 1 minute away. I used the Metro every day. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Lisbon.

The room was spacious and well-equipped. It is nicely designed for travelers. The location is also ideal. The bathroom is very nicely designed and the bed is very comfortable.

The check in time is absurd. My room was ready when I arrived and the policy appears to be that one must pay to enter the room prior to 16:00. In my opinion, this just a way to extract a little more from the client. There is no other logical explanation for the charge. If the room is ready, the client should be able to enter at no additional cost, especially if the client happens to be a recurring customer (as was the case) and during a time when you are already paying a premium for the room.
