SANA Metropolitan Hotel

Everything from the point of entering to leaving was perfect! The hotel offers many complementary items for guests and really take the time and care to be there for you. The staff are so polite and make you feel welcomed. Our flight is much later on in the evening and although check out is at noon, the hotel staff are happy to hold our bags hassle free. The staff go above and beyond to be there for you as a client. I highly recommend staying here!

Hotel is a little far from attractions, but considering you can take a taxi or Uber it's totally fine. There's also a main transit station, Sete-Rios, nearby if you want to use public transport. The advantage of being far from the city center is how quiet it is.

The breakfast was nice and included everything you could ask for. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (we did mention it was out honeymoon before but did not have any expectations). The staff surprised us with flowers and some fruit plate. We were very surprised and happy. The room is comfy, clean, decent, and well maintained. No complains at all. Also there is a really nice gym. The location is good. In the nearby there are cheap restaurants and shops. 10 mins walk and you reach the metro. I can recommend using the Bolt app for taxi services.

Staffs were very amicable and nice. The room they offered, was an spacious suit with coffee machine, 3 free bottle of water, plus in the evening they left some macaroon cookie in the room which was a bonus for us after a long day visiting Lisbon. The Garage parking was free, I thought they charge me but at check-out they said it is free.

Breakfast was limited and not so much variety. Location is slightly far from down town, but taxi is not expensive in Lisbon, so that was not problem for us as we didn't want to use our own car.

The room was clean and the beds very comfortable with all the amenities one would expect . They have a wonderful breakfast with many choices. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

If one is there to tour Lisbon the location is a bit removed from downtown. The choices are buses, cabs or ride share and the subway to get downtown. Subway stations are at least 10 minutes but probably more like 15 or more minutes away by foot. We relied on the taxi service partly to avoid crowds. Depending on where we were going fairs were between 7 and 10 Euros at a time. Not bad but time spent is also important. We had to be prepared to be out all day. If you don't mind essentially commuting to downtown the Sana Metropolitan is a wonderful place to stay in Lisbon.

Everything was exceptional. It is my 20th time to Lisbon, first time to this hotel. Indeed it is not located near the city business center or the Expo (Oriente) area. However - all the rest is no less than excellent. Very pleasant design, super friendly and helpful team (showed me the room, facilities and made sure I am fine - also during breakfast), very nice gym, very rich breakfast. I really enjoyed it,

convenient to the bus station which was important to me. Also very convenient to restaurants and stores. The hotel is classy and also extremely friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Furniture is well taken care of. Staff is helpful and genuinely nice. Breakfast buffet was very good. The front desk chose to upgrade me - which was unexpected and very much appreciated. I am so pleased I chose to stay there.

Very good breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and most of all, very personable, from the reception desk, restaurant/breakfast, as well as the bar… As a matter of fact, I already made my reservation there as I am going back to Lisbon tomorrow… A very special thanks to Elsa for reaching out on WhatsApp, which made it easier to make the next reservation directly with the hotel! 🙌 to her customer service!!! I convinced my family to change their hotel and stay with us at SANA Metropolitan! 🙌👍

Everything was great except the restaurants. The main restaurant was only serving a buffet. We ate dinner there and the buffet was not good. The food that should have been hot was not, much of it not even warm and some of the meat was tough. The breakfast buffet was better but to the quality one would expect of a hotel of this caliber. My wife and I also had a hamburger and a small beer in the bar. The hamburger was excellent and the beer cold but the charge of 43 euros seemed excessive.

From the moment you enter the hotel this sweet scent envelopes you all the way into your room. I honestly couldn’t get enough of it. The hotel staff was very pleasant and eager to help. The room had all the amenities you may need (including a USB charger outlet near the the bed!!). Their food is definitely unmissable.

Very few vegetarian options regarding room service.

Very nice staff, they upgraded our room with no cost to a suite. The suite was amazing, the bed was really comfortable and the amenities were really good. They also prepared a welcome appetizer for us with sweet details at our room.

We were late to breakfast because of professional reasons (5 minutes later) and the responsible didn’t allow us to came to the restaurant.
