Loule Jardim Hotel

Staff was superb! They were so helpful with restaurant recommendations, travel information, printing of paperwork for our trip and every little question we had. We were always greeted with a smile! Breakfast was lovely and served in the atrium with a wonderful complete selection of buffet items. The pool area and outside deck were not completely set up so early in the season but on a warm afternoon it was most pleasant to sit there. The location was very convenient for touring the historic area of the town and to many restaurants. The living room and bar areas had comfortable chairs for talking with friends or having a place to read indoors. We would definitely return here if we visited Loule again!

- very friendly and helpful reception staff with good recommendations - generally very clean - not exceptional but very good breakfast, mostly vegetarian and even some vegan options - nice roof terrace with view over the surrounding area (though not as beautiful as on the pictures) - heated pool, with a roof during off-season, open-air in summer - central in Loule (walking distance to all major sights), but that comes at the cost of narrow roads - underground garage underneath the hotel, but quite tight and limited number of parking spots

- badly sound-proofed doors, you can hear other guests slamming doors all night long - there was some mold on one window frame which was hidden behind a curtain - some staff outside the reception do not speak English

I liked how professional the front desk help was, the location of the hotel , the decor, which it's better than what you see in the photos. Breakfast was good. I liked the detail of the dried figs, almonds and roasted sweet potato as these are foods that people from this are eat often. Love that in front of the hotel there is a garden where we can relax and enjoy watching the many swallows that fly in the skies in circles of happiness 😊

I didn't care for the perfume/scent used on the lounge and bar area to create a "nice" ambiance. In my opinion it's not necessary as those are chemicals that we should avoid inhaling. It was quite strong and unpleasant. I sat at the lounge for about an hour and my clothes started smelling like that too.

Really helpful staff in a beautifully clean and well presented hotel in a quiet but central location. An unexpectedly pleasant extra was the sunny roof space and third floor pool with expansive views. The local market and shops are within 10 minutes’ walk, as are a number of reasonably priced restaurants serving great Portuguese food. Loulé was a good base for exploring the region, and much more of an authentic Portuguese experience than the crammed, touristy coastal towns. The hotel was a great base for cycling as there is easy access to quiet, picturesque mountain climbs.

The property was recently renovated and staff were all awesome. The location is convenient, there is free underground parking at the hotel. We recommend using Uber for getting about... the drivers we had were really knowledgeable about traffic patterns and shortcuts. There is a nice pool and gym at the property.

Late night serenading by local barking dogs. Travel tip... watch out for cafes not accepting credit cards but they will direct you to very expensive ATM. Use machines inside the banks to not getting crazy currency surcharges and poor rates. Recommend you spend some extra cash for the balcony rooms. The views are great on the south side of the building.

The city is historic and interesting, convenient and central for the A22 - the main east-west arterial road of the Algarve, handy for Faro Airport. The hotel is in the town centre, the finest hotel in town, 5 mins walk to the best restaurants. The staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is a high quality extensive buffet. The basement car park is small and a little awkward, but on street parking is easy. In the foyer is an helpful interactive guide to the area and various walks.

There was little to complain about - a few dogs barking in the night, but nothing unusual. The urban streets are narrow with many one-ways. Not good for limos but OK for small hire cars.

lovely little hotel , lovely room on 3rd floor corner room so was very big . Bonus of roof top pool , which was covered over when we was there as it was March great that it can be used all year round , would imagine it would be great in better weather , towels available at reception .

only did breakfast , would have been good to get lunch or dinner . Stay was probably spoilt abit by groups of men who seemed to take over around bar /television area who were very inconsiderate to others sitting there .

Great staff, lovely room and good breakfast, with good variety. The place is super calm and confortable, awesome to relax by the pool. Staff are super nice.

Honestly to me the worst part was their garage, its pretty small and hard to park due to how it is built but it was amazing that they had it since its almost impossible to park anywhere near outside.

What a charming little hotel! The rooms are clean and the hotel staff is truly exceptional. This hotel understands customer service. We arrived 3 1/2 hours before their 3pm check in time. My wife was not feeling well and we badly needed to get our room so that she could lie down. The woman at the front desk said she would do what she could to help us. She had us sit down in the living room off the lobby and told us she'd update us in an hour. In exactly an hour she came back and told us our room was ready for us - a full 2 1/2 hours early. We were incredibly grateful for her unbelievable service! Also, throughout our stay we found the staff to be very personable, extra attentive to every need we had and they patiently answered the many questions we asked. The hotel is in a great location just minutes from city center, restaurants and shopping. The sunsets from the rooftop pool are a sight to behold. If you visit Loule, stay at this hotel!

i liked almost everything. the clean room which are nicely decorated. the breakfast was also very nice. the cut fruits, different kind of breads,egg, bacon, hum cheese and all kind of sweets. the hotel was very close to the center 5 minutes walk so it was very convenient. there are pool and gym which we didn’t use. it was too windy for swimming.

as I said the hotel was center and driving in and out was a bit scary in the beginning. but we always got parking at the squares.
