City Lodge Bangkok

Great stay. I stayed for 30 days. Bangkok is very lively, of course, especially in Sukhumvit. This felt like an oasis right in the middle of the action. You definitely want to book the rooms opposite the city view (opposite the sky train) because it's much quieter. The hotel's right on the sky train line. Literally like a 3 minute walk up the stairs. The staff is super nice and polite, like most Thais. In particular when I was leaving, one of the staff waited outside and watched my taxi to make sure they loaded all my bags. It was a small touch, and well appreciated! The elevator, laundry on site, fridge, comfy beds and large desk all made this a great stay as well. The biggest plus of the room is definitely the floor to ceiling windows. I'd certainly go again

Taxis and delivery drivers have a hard time finding this place. It's on a small side street that people seem to miss frequently Some pan handlers, etc right outside the front and some construction as well. But that's super typical of Sukhumvit / good luck avoiding that if you want to be central

Close to Nana district, within walking distance to most places I know.

Road noise and on the 6th floor Sky Train noise. I paid the little extra for the corner room with a city view. I got a corner room but there wasn't a corner window, you wouldn't know it was a corner room and the view was of the building across the street and as it was a side street it was very close. I complained and got moved to floor 6 with a proper corner window and a bit of a city view. On the long side of the room, I was looking into Nana BTS and on the short side a bit of a city view with a concert pillar in the way.

Really nice and easy going hotel just next to Nana satition at Sukhumvit. Perfekt base when you're there for shopping,, leisure. Short walk to the Swedish Embassy. Awesome cleaning and nice staff.

It would be really nice to have some better tv-channels to watch, also an more effective toilet, a pool maby, before they include embassador hotels pool, but it is closed now.

Perfect location, cannot be more center in sukumvith but still quiet if u get room NOT on sukumvith road side of building. I have back problems and staff gave me extra topper for bed, I slept very well !!!! Thank you !

It's an older building and I saw other reviews criticizing that, but I thought it was rather charming point. It is a little older, but in very good shape and kept very clean. The staff were all super friendly and the air conditioning was great.

It's in a very central location right on Sukhumvit road, which could be a plus or minus depending on the person. Convenient, but a bit noisy.

Many hotels provide complimentary toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and hair dryers for their guests. they should also provide such things.

1. Very close to BTS station, easy to travel 2. Quite at night even though the location is near pubs/night life 3. Near convenient stores 4. Staffs speak good English and happy to help

A little bit old facility

location , casual but attentive staff , the hotel blends into it's surrounds . nice to come home to

the hotel is getting older each year .

The location was excellent. Close to bts station. Many great restaurants and bars. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

The hotel was showing it age and that is reflected in the price. You get what you pay for . So overall it was good value.

Boiler, water and coffie available in room. Clean

A bit noisy during night due to clubs outside but can sleep well.
