The location is perfect, I have read in some review that the steep road to the closest tram station is an issue: yes the road is a bit steep but to be honest it literally takes 3 minutes to closes tram station, and if you walk around and take 5 minutes you can take a less step road, so no issue whatsoever. The Hotel is clean and the interior is fairly modern. Wifi was very good and the personnel very nice and always trying to help.

In my room the toilet seat was much smaller than the toilet, not a big issue but slightly annoying, also because it would not stand without me holding it with my hands. Also it was very close to the shower, so a bit uncomfortable to use. Also there was no kettle, it would be nice to have the change to have coffee in the room. All minor issues anyway but worth mentioning them. Beds were a bit too soft for my taste.

The beds were excellent, in terms of location - not too far from the tram stop and walking distance from most things. Very kind and friendly staff who catered to all our needs, great value for money and an ideal stay for anyone looking to stay near the Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet area. A hidden gem and perfect weekend getaway hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily, cooling was very good, and overall a pleasant stay

Cleanliness could be improved a tad, and if you don't mind a steep climb every morning to the tram stop then this hotel is perfect for you. These factors are easily outweighed by friendly staff and overall great value for money.

The property is very good value & very close to SultanahMet Square and all public transit. 10 minute walk up steep hill.

The hotel was on a very steep hill small street — I would not advise for anyone with small children and strollers or elderly travelers. but if you don’t care about any of that it’s the perfect location and very good value with wonderful friendly staff. we really appreciated the kindness extended to us for our special needs by gıest service staff — especially Ibrahim and Ali — and the hotel manager who came to meet us! Çok Teşekkürler ederim!

It was an excellent experience. Things were as mentioned on the website and everyone was honest. The airport pickup and drop was well managed. It is great value for money, very clean and the staff is super nice. It has an ideal location with historic sites, bazaars and transportation within walking distance. Highly recommended especially for families

Everything was nice. However a word of caution for families with old people. The hotel is on a slope which may be difficult for some. Was not a problem for us as everyone in our family is fit with my kids in high school and college.

Everything was good enough and comfortable.

Poor soundproofing between rooms. Also heard noise from the street.

The staff is so polite and friendly. Never met people so humble. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We even decided to extend our stay with them for 3 more days. The were upgraded to a very big room upon our arrival. The hotel is very clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. Just a few minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar and the Galata Tower. So many restaurants around and they close very late. This neighbourhood is very safe even for solo travelling women. Late night walks on the streets of Istanbul felt real safe.

I booked a room in Kadirga Antik for one night to join my family the next day. At check-in at the reception desk, Ali was super kind to offer me a family room with a fantastic street view and a balcony at no additional cost. I didn't have to check out and check in the next day to stay for a week with my family flying from the USA. It was a great start to our experience in this wonderful hotel. I must say the hotel personnel is pleasant, cooperative, warm, helpful, and multilingual. Airport pick-up and drop-off were arranged by the hotel, which was closely organized and coordinated by Ali and Daya. They were very helpful, even providing their Whatsapp contact details for any questions and directions. On the way to the airport, Daya (very warm and super pleasant) took the initiative & made phone calls with the taxi company, and personally walked out of the hotel to make sure that the taxi would pick us up on time. It was a very kind gesture. The hotel is located in one of the best spots in Sultanahmet. It is in close proximity to major landmarks. As for the room, it was found as expected. Perfect for a family of 5 and with a nice street view. You will find beautiful paintings of landmarks from all around Istanbul - very pleasant. The rooms have enough light to provide guests with an array of lighting options. Good wifi, clean bathroom with good toiletries, towels, and bedding. The breakfast has a Turkish flavor, filled with a savory assortment of food, Turkish tea, and hot coffee. It is decent and sufficient enough to start your day. The Chef is extremely pleasant, always greets guests with warmth, and offers assistance. Bottomline: The hotel offers excellent value for your money with a good location, super warm and cool staff, nice rooms with privacy, and family-friendly. We were touched by Ali and Daya for their excellent client services and their abilities to communicate in multiple languages (English, Farsi & Turkish).

The hotel is located near the principal attraction and in the middle of the city so it was easy to reach them just by walking for a few minutes. The bed was literally a cloud, so comfortable! The breakfast was exceptional: you get the typical Turkish breakfast with a variety of hot beverages and soft drinks for an affordable price. The staff was welcoming and very professional, they have even arranged our transfer from the airport to the hotel and viceversa when we had to leave. Istanbul is magical and the stay at Kadirga Antik made it even more enjoyable. If I ever get to visit the city in the future, I will for sure choose this hotel once again!

Everything was perfect, I have nothing to complain about.

The hotel is located in the old city, you can easily reach the main sightseeings, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good (fruits, cereals, milk, coffee, tea, vegetables, cheese, eggs, meat, sweets, olives, juice, sausage). Every day the room is cleaned, the towels are changed. On the roof of the building there is a terrace that can be used at any time.

There is no parking in front of the hotel because the street is very narrow, but is a private yard nearby where you can park for a fee. The bed is almost glued to the bathroom door.
