Skylon Airport Hotel

Great if you just need somewhere close to the airport. It was about 70TL in a cab and the beds are really comfortable. I had jet lag so slept most of the time. You can get some kebabs etc delivered if you are hungry. An ATM machine is about 20 mins walk away. The shop next door can sort you out a sim card so you can get out the airport ASAP. Friendly reception staff and helpful.

It's close to the airport and a transit hotel so people are coming and going and you can hear planes but I was so tired and and the bed was so comfortable that it wasn't really a problem

It was our third accommodation in this hotel and we may honestly say that it was perfect! The rooms are very comfortable and always fresh. The hotel staff is very polite and always ready to help! They helped us and our parents with transfers from and to the airport. They are very attentive to their guests! And we would like to express our deep gratitude to Ruslan! He always stayed in touch with me and my parents as they didn't speak English! Because Ruslan can speak Russian. He was aware of all the flight details to make sure the driver could meet my parents in time and provide them with a safe trip to the hotel. He met my parents in the hotel and accommodated them with comfort! We wish you prosperity! You are the best!

The hotel is perfect and not far from the airport! They also arrange transfers from and to the airport. The rooms are very clean and fresh. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Employees are very polite and ready to help! We stayed there 1 year ago, and now my parents have chosen this hotel according to our advice. And they will stay there again! We sincerely recommend this hotel! We also would like to give thanks to Ruslan! He helped our parents with transfer. My parents don't speak English, and it was hard for them to navigate in the airport. Ruslan speaks Russian. He was in touch with a drive and my parents all the time, and he helped them to get to the hotel. He provided great support to them. We are very thankful and happy to choose this hotel!

Very conveniently located within less than 15 min. ride from the airport. The hotel feels new and tidy. Nice, responsive personnel. Clean room with a comfortable bed. Perfect for an overnight stay.

The hotel has no kitchen. Any meal will be / has to be ordered from nearby cafe's. The price for airport transfer is almost twice as high as a taxi from the street.

The hotel is situated near the airport, which is really convenient for overnight transit situations. The staff is really helpful and nice. The price was very good too.

When I walked to the room there were dirty towels on the floor, and the restroom was dirty.

Very good for short overnight stay at Istanbul Airport. Guy behind the counter is amazing and explained everything well. Check-in was easy, entered the room and it was clean (there was dust in the harder-to-reach places) and tight. Quiet hotel since everyone is there for his or her overnight stay I reckon. Check-out was easy as well. Eating facilities all around. Taxi is about 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Location of the hotel is at the first little village outside of Istanbul Airport I think. The location is absolutely stuffed with hotels and has nothing special. Just bear in mind the location is for your overnight sleep, not to watch something special.

For the price paid the place is exceptional. Clean, with nice beds, AC and toilettries in abundance, tea/coffee available in the room. On the reception you'll find a menu of a local restaurant with very modest prices, but the food is of excellent quality, everything freshly made/grilled, huge portions (and will be brought to your room within 30-40 minutes). Within 100-200 m you'll find small shops and supermarkets, all cheap and with good quality of food. Super supportive staff.

Considering the price, you cannot really complain about anything. Surely, the settlement doesn't offer much in terms of views, and closeness to the airport means planes taking off or descending low over the place every 5 minutes, but for an overnight it's pretty tolerable. And definitely way cheaper than the facilities within the airport.

Good hotel for an overnight layover in Istanbul. The hotel employees are very friendly and helpful. The transfer is very convenient and well organized. A couple of breakfast places nearby.

There was an unpleasant wet smell in the room, however, opening the window and turning the AC on helped after a few hours. Open cables under the bathroom mirror.

This is the perfect hotel for a long layover in Istanbul's new Airport. A ten minute taxi ride away, the hotel is situated in the nearest town, with ample locally priced mini markets and kebap / food joints from where to buy fruit, or have lunch/dinner or some great turkish coffee as you wish. Hotel staff can actually source food for you upon request, and selection off a printed menu, for the same street prices. For the budget price paid, rooms are large, well lit, more importantly very clean, and with free internet which was decent enough to carry out a video call. Hotel has lift access, and reception staff were very corteous, some fluent in english, and all very friendly!

I really cannot fault this hotel. For the prices paid, it's a steal compared to airport hotel prices. And no, I have no affiliation, friendship, or benefit from leaving a good review for this place.
