Ibis World Trade Centre

Definitely one of the more up-scale Ibis hotels that I've stayed at. Room was very clean and well furnished. Staff were also very friendly. Would recommend, espcially if you're looking for a place that's in a central location. On top of this, I asked for a late checkout and the front desk did not hesitate to grant me that. All-in-all good experience.

This is more of a design point for the bathroom but I thought I'd point it out anyway: the shower does, unfortunately, becomes a bit of a wetroom after using it. This can be a bit inconvenient, espcially if you're not used to it.

Very nice decoration inside the hotel. Room was quite small but cozy, comfortable and stylish. Had free wi-fi and a water bottle, kettle and a tea/coffee set. For one night stay it was a great choice since the location was convenient near WTC and metro station - so it was easy to get to Burj Khalifa which was our main goal for that day. Next day we took a taxi to go to port Rashid for our cruise and there was one taxi standing by the entrance which was convenient for us. Overall a good choice for a short stay in Dubai.

View was limited and room was quite small. Price is considerably high.

We liked the helpfulness of the reservation staff who had us booked same day within a few minutes. The room size was smaller than most but we were informed of that before hand so it was not a surprise when we checked-in. Still roomy enough for two friends staying one night. The location was the selling point for us as it’s 5 minutes walk from the Trade Centre and metro. Didn’t choose breakfast with our booking so we didn’t try it. We also appreciate the great valet service.

The temperature for the shower was badly regulated. You would barely turn the knob halfway and the water would be painfully hot.

I love the hospitality of the staff. They are very friendly and very helpful. The location is extremely good and convenient to Duba World Trade Center. It is very near the Dubai Museum of the Future and 5-10 min by taxi to Dubai Mall. Mini Supermarket across the road and Metro Station as well, only 5 min walking distance.

The only setback is the shower area, which is very small, but this is not the main problem. The main problem there is no sliding door or shower curtain to cover while you are taking a shower, and all bathrooms are covered with water.

Reception staff were so polite and helpful. Location was amazing for our event at the World Trade Centre. Concierge and valet are brilliant. The decor is fabulous and really modern and new for an Ibis. Breakfast was great. Lovely restaurant and decor, again. Cuban waiter at breakfast was very friendly. Overall, a great stay. We'll be back.

The man on reception was a little rude when we enquired about extending our stay for a further night and could not offer us any alternatives. The vegan café is very overpriced for an Ibis hotel!

The check-in process was really fast and smooth. Most of staff are friendly here and they will try to accommodate your needs as much as possible. The room was perfectly design and it has all sort of things that you'd wish when travelling for work. Breakfast is the just ok but there were plenty of choices. Location, location, and location! (metro station just 2 mins away from the hotel and the WTC itself just literally next to the hotel. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Definitely will come back.

Location

The bed was uncomfortable. The restroom is too small and the shower has no screen allowing all water to escape and gather throughout the bathroom/toilet floor making it unsafe. Restaurant door to a beautiful terrace with outdoor seating being locked. Explanation given that non-staying guests may use it. While we enjoyed the Indian bar/restaurant which was open till 3 am (the only option in the hotel) the music was extremely loud.

The hotel is very well located, next to trade center, some minutes drive to burj khalifa/dubai mall and walking distance to the museum of the future. metro station very accessible and many food options were available nearby. Safe walking area. The staffs were very kind, friendly and always responded to our queries. Rooms were clean with amneties provided.

Water in the bathroom kept spilling everywhere which is unpleasant.

This hotel had everything I wanted from a hotel. It was clean, modern and I really liked it. Pity I only stayed for one night. I would have loved to stay here longer. The staff are really friendly. It is a busy hotel so you may have to be patient with the reception counter. The great views of Dubai as well. Comfortable bed. This was the last minute booking too and I was glad I got a good deal.

The door is a bit thin and not as soundproof so I heard funny things at 4:00 a.m.

The hotel is in an amazing location very convenient to reach via cab or metro. Also it's in some way connected to a world trade centre which makes it one of the best choices if you are in Dubai for work. The staff was helpful and the rooms were very clean. Overall value for money.

We had to ask for basic amenities that should be replaced or renewed on each room cleaning service like a water bottle. And I also want to suggest to improve the bathroom kit.
