Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai

Not far from Dubai Mall and the Future Museum (6 to 10 minutes by taxi), the hotel is located in an area pretty far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was clean and quiet. We were provided with several bottles of drinking water every day, with no extra charge. The staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast was really good (apart from the pancakes!): great variety, ranging from savoury to sweet, with local and international dishes and fresh fruit. A pity we couldn't swim in the outdoor swimming pool: too hot for us at this time of the year!

No shops, no restaurants nearby, so going for a stroll near the hotel is not a good idea. The easiest way to go somewhere is by taxi or by the hotel shuttle (we never managed to catch it). Beware, not all the taxis outside the hotel have the meter, so you may be charged more.

Location is EXCELLENT for those attending Gulfood. Also not far from the biggest attractions in Dubai as well. Hotel breakfast was very good. Staff well trained, polite and helpful. All services working fine. There is even a small shop at the lobby, 24/7, selling beverages and snacks. Very good idea to keep a shop like this inside the hotel.

Free wi-fi could be better. No bathtub, which I missed the most. Windows are sealed - cant open. Perhaps for security, I don't know, but I didn't like the fact you couldn't open them.

Asians spitting,in pool and nose blowing into plants one guy even using his vape in the breakfast dining table area...which I told staff and they promptly addressed it. Smoking not really acceptable in public places these days but hotel bit lax on that..smokers around pool area which to me isn't acceptable by other hotels these days...NO smoking signs should be mandatory

Hotel: We had a lovely time staying in this hotel. Lala the Receptionist who let us check in even though we arrived 3 hours early. Upon check out, Lala also provided us big packed breakfast as we are leaving very early. Saddiq, the restaurant staff and also the young female restaurant staff who were very helpful with our requests. The chef who always prepare my order in advance before I even ask for it. The porters who are ready to help. The pool, sauna and steam bath are great amenities. 24 hour convenient mini-store inside the hotel is a good idea for late snacks. Location: 5 minutes walk to metro station. One of pick-up hotels for Desert Safari Tour. Close proximity to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Only 5 metro stops away. Near Gold Souk. About 6 metro stops away. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Booked hotel via Booking.com last year as it had an amazing half board price available at the time of booking. Arrived late in the evening and was checked in quickly. The room was acceptable, a normal room with a very big bed and a pull out sofa, which for an adult in uncomfortable. We had breakfast everyday, and mixed the second part of the deal with either lunch or dinner, as it was Ramadan, we have lovely middle eastern dishes at night. The restaurant staff, especially Dita and her manager were outstanding everyday, and they made sure we had water on our table. The food was lovely, even thought it is pretty much the same dishes daily. Other members of staff were very accommodating. The shuttle to and from the beach gets full up, and same for the return, so avoid being late for both trips. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the World Trade Center Metro Station, so handy when it comes to taking a trip to the Burj Khalifa or the the Old Town in Deira. We will be coming back, if we plan another trip to Dubai in years to come. Thank you for having us Novotel World Trade Centre.

The juices in the restaurant didn't taste nice, and the price of one beer and a large shandy at the bar, I paid 23 pounds, which is expensive for a beer, aside from this everything else was perfect!

Hotel is in ideal location and a 5 minute walk from world trade centre metro station which is great for getting around. Hotel was clean and rooms were well equipped with all necessary amenities including tea and coffee making facilities, fresh glass bottle of water each day, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Toiletries provided in the bathroom and nice touch of box of cakes provided in room on arrival. Great choice of food for breakfast each morning and a live cooking station for omelettes and eggs. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful and nothing asked of them was ever too much bother. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again!

Excellent stay. Staff very friendly and helpful, room very comfortable and clean, breakfast excellent! Facilities very good. Located near to the Metro and a reasonably easy walk through the WTC to the nearest station (quite a long walk, but at least it is in the air con!)

Nothing to improve on really for this class of hotel. Is it like a five star hotel? No - but then you don't pay a five star price. So, it's a question of what you are looking for. For me, excellent value. Enjoy!

Novotel was located around 10 mins walk from the "World Trade Center" metro stop. But one can take shortcut from the trade center hall to avoid walking around or heat from sun. There is actually an entrance directly from the trade center halls to the hotel so you do not even have to go out from to the main entrance. The décor of the lobby was nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We had Half board and breakfast and one meal of our choice was included. Breakfast was awesome to say the least. Huge variety. Sometimes Lunch was buffet other time dinner was. When its not buffet, its either 3 course meal or choice in main course while the other 2 courses are buffet. There was a Gym and sauna in the hotel, but due to construction the main path to them was closed, and the only way to go there was through the poolside, which many guests weren't aware of so there was no crowd there. The pool was nice but not a separate one for kids, so could be a bit deep for the young ones. The location was perfect. 5-7 mins to metro stop if you take the shortcut from the Traced center. 15 mins on foot to the "Museum of Future". The metro line was that same from airport so convenient for tourists. 2 Metro stops towards airport was Dubai Frame. 2 Stops in other direction and you are at Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. The kids corner at the lobby was just a new toys. There was a gaming console there but was broken and not functional. There was a tourist info desk at the lobby from where you can get good deals on tourist attractions or book tickets for attractions. The bars at the lobby were nice. The blue/Jazz bar had live music at night (or maybe weekends only I am not sure) but wans not free for guests and an entry costed 50 AED. The room was ok for the price paid. All rooms except the few suites were same size and almost same layout.

The family room was not very roomy and carpet had a few stains. Not a big deal but it was a 4 star hotel so the expectations were bit high.

the staff very polite, the facilities very good, cleanliness perfect, the location of quite good. If you're traveling for work in Dubai, it's the perfect place to stay. Also something that impressed me was that inside the hotel there is a minimarkert with some products you need which stays open late and there is also a bar and cafeteria inside the hotel.

My only complaint is that the breakfast needs improvement, it was good but not enough choices.

The concierge/the staff who assisted me in getting taxis, the bellman and the restaurant staff were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast selection was really good. Food was delicious. Location was convenient considering I was there to attend an expo. I liked my room (1232) and the view.

The female staff during check-in did not inform me that they had a free shuttle service. I only learned about it the day before I left -- I could have availed of the free shuttle service instead of walking for several minutes to the station. When I checked out, I asked her why she didn't mention it to me, and she said "it's on the Booking.com page". Was I also supposed to get the shuttle schedule from Booking.com?
