Rove La Mer Beach, Jumeirah

This really is what a hotel should be about, from the moment we arrived until we sadly had to leave, everything was amazing. Great food, great facilities, and super hip and trendy. A good place is all about the detail and Rove have spent lots of time on this. A fabulous beachfront hotel in Dubai that will not break the bank. 5/5 all the way. The beach is about 2km long with the Rove set at one end. The walk on the beachfront is full of amazing places to eat, Salt burgers, and Five Guys are good for burgers, there is also a ton of places to shop and like the hotel, the whole retail area is fun and funky. There is a cinema and a waterpark also within a few mins of the hotel. Normally my reviews are sharp short and to the point, but with the Rove I am actually spending a bit of time saying what I think and what I think is…..What an amazing place, do not hesitate to book into this hotel. Beach and pool - Super clean, free towels and sun beds. Coffee - Amazing Check-in and out - Fast and friendly.

The stay was very pleasant. From the very start, when my room was upgraded to a sea view until the last moment of fast checkout when invoice was written to my company's specs. The room was smaller, but sufficient, bed was very comfortable, everything clean with excellent daily cleanup service. The food was really, really good! Plenty of choices for both breakfasts and dinners. One of the best buffets I had (in Orient locations). Small private beech was clean, the view is bit industrial but OK (common in Dubai), swimming pool clean with just OK water temperature. Next to the complex is a public beach which is great as well, it even has a jogging path with gum-like surface. The location is suitable for family stays but also for business travelers like me the taxi is literality few minutes away with 10 min drive to downtime.

Nothing. Beer (Stella and Heineken on tap) isn't cheap there so don't go there for October fest stay :-))), but it is everywhere in Emirates.

This hotel has some of the best designed hotel rooms that I've stayed in over the last few years. Great "beach" vibe in the lobby/common areas and restaurant, rooms are stripped of all nonsense and have all the practical convenience. They are on the small side, but still more than fine for a few days. Great staff as well.

As others have mentioned: there is a lot of construction happening close by. If your room is on the sea-side you will only notice is when you arrive at the hotel though, and when on the beach.

This is the best place to stay in Dubai! Located on the beach in a very nice and quiet area with a lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.. And just15 min with the free shuttle and you are in the downtown. The staff is amazing - young, beautiful, bright people. They are always there for you with a big warm smile. We have stayed for 2 weeks with our son who is 6 months old and we have never missed any faciliy - the hotel is child friendly but yet trendy and attractive also for people without children. The place is relaxed but not boring and dinamic but not too noisy. You just feel at home. And the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The housekeeping is just the best - every day clean room, fresh water, coffee facilities in the room. Thank you, Rovers! Special thanks and compliments for Lipon from the housekeeping who kept our room perfectly clean and fresh during our stay! You have gave you an amaizing holiday and we will come again for sure.

Construction activities around the hotel were a bit disturbing. Hopefully all will be completed by our next visit.

Great location, there are some construction going on on La Mer Beach area and also next door to the Rove that is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023, but that did not interfere with my stay, the Rove La Mer is in a great location and you have private beach access, rooms are very comfortable and well kept, our room was cleaned every day, I just do not like the open closet concept, but our room was a corner room that gave little more living space. I would stay at the Rove again.

I stayed in Rove La Mer Beach during 1 week vacation with my wife, my parents and two pre-school age kids. All family members are extremely happy with this place. The hotel offers everything you need to get the best experience in terms of water activity and outdoor walk. The beach is just 2 minute walk and it is private. Kids especially liked the heated swimming pool, we even could not get them out of there :-) One of the biggest advantages is it's cost effectiveness. Rooms are clean and cosy, coffee/tea station are being refilled on a daily basis during housekeeping. Elevators operate very fast, so you will never find a queue downstairs (lobby). Staff is extremely friendly and is always happy to help you. Indeed you have to take a cab all the time to get anywhere, but remember this is Dubai, its not as pedestrian friendly London or Rome. So, no matter what hotel you stay, taxi is the best option in terms of mobility. If need a grocery supermarket you may simply walk 15 minutes along the embankment (coastline) and find there Mercato Shopping Mall. There is a huge supermarket inside, called Spinneys (like Safeway, Carrefour or Sainsbury). Also there is a food court upstairs with a popular fast food selection. Nothing really we didn't like, except they may improve its breakfast or at least reduce the price for it. The selection of food does not correspond to its price. Better to eat somewhere outside for this price.

Definitely service in the restaurant should be improved. We were always waiting too long for someone to come or someone to bring us our order.

Beach: Located in Jumeirah district of Dubai not far from the city center, Rove La Mer Beach hotel has a small, clean, and cozy private beach and well-maintained outdoor pool and different sports activities areas. If you are travelling to Dubai alone or with kids for shopping (free shuttles) or business and want to stay in a quiet area with direct access to a beach, this is your place. I don't think that travelers who want to visit the UAE for a beach vacation only choose specifically Dubai because there are much better destinations like Fujairah and crystal clear water of the Gulf of Oman and a plethora of other options. However, Rove La Mer Beach is a hidden gem for those who want to visit the city of Dubai and at the same time enjoy beach walking or running. The hotel's private beach is adjacent to the La Mer public beach which is also well-maintained and has many restaurants. One can get beach towels from the stand next to the outdoor pool. Apart from the hotel-run beach and La Mer public beach you can enjoy a longer strip of beach on the opposite side: just go around the hotel and head toward Mercato/Jumeirah Beach. Rooms: The best rooms with sea view are the ones that face the private beach and the pool, not the ones that face the open sea because on that side the construction work of a couple of other buildings is underway. Food: The hotel offers great breakfasts with many healthy, vegetarian and halal options that remind one all-inclusive Turkish resorts. A special thank you to Erika working for the Daily restaurant who was very helpful and friendly. Reception: One of the best hotel teams I have ever met. Special shout-outs to Islam and Ayoob for their professionalism and attentiveness. They are open and ready to check in 24/7. I was extremely satisfied when they did their best to meet my special requirements to accommodate two different groups of guests arriving at different times.

Almost nothing. A couple of small things: first, it would be nice to have a short written instruction on how to use the phone in the room; second, sometimes beach cleaning machines can disrupt your sleep if you keep the window open at night.
