The friendliness of the staff and the food was good, breakfast and dinner.

The curtains in No. 7 the Dairy Room needed fixing so that the light would not come in at night. Also a bit of privacy in the shower., maybe a shower curtain. Not everyone likes to be exposed all the time, even to their partners.

The facilities were great, the restaurant food was lovely. Choice of drinks at the bar were great and the outdoor seating areas was lovely. Mia who greeted us on the first night was excellent. Such a wonderful asset to the team, excellent customer service and I warmed to her instantly and knew I had picked the right place to stay for my trip.

The bar closed at 9pm on Sunday which was not ideal and the rooms were very warm with no air con. We only had breakfast on the Monday morning as we were up and out earlier than they started breakfast on the other mornings. The quality of the breakfast was excellent, really cooked well and lovely food but it took an age to get served! And there as only cornflakes or granola as a cereal option and they had run out of orange juice.

Staff very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Room 14 very quaint and quirky but exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. Location is very central with many restaurants and a couple of pubs nearby but look no further than the hotel as the ambience, food and drinks were delightful for both dinner and breakfast. The fact that the restaurant was extremely busy is a testament to the quality of the food and we received excellent service.

Pity we could only stay for one night but next time we will stay for longer. As we say in Lancashire = Nowt wrong - all good.

We stayed in what was described as a Large Double room. The room was a good size, nicely decorated, very cosy and warm with lovely fresh smelling and comfortable sheets. The bath was a nice feature and was used. The breakfast was a very generous size and the coffee was delicious.

The view from the windows was a little unsettling. As the day darkened we had to close the curtains earlier than we would have liked because of the supermarket car park. If the windows could have been frosted in the bottom half this would have helped greatly. Or maybe those clever blinds that can be adjusted from the top and the bottom independently.

This was my third or fourth stay at The Bull which probably says a lot. It’s a go-to place when working not too far away. Room nice and clean and bed very comfortable. A few of the rooms (today’s was one of them) have a bath actually in the room which I always think is a little strange but they have a separate shower too which was good Evening meal was very nice (simple burger for me but a good selection) and breakfast was awesome. Restaurant area and bar both pretty comfortable. Nice beer garden at the rear which is a bit of a sun trap Olney itself is a nice little village although the traffic is busy on the Main Street in the early morning

Staff were very helpful. Breakfast good. Our room was noisy and lacking light. Definitely worth paying for a superior room as they were much larger. Shower was good. Very well placed in the High Street. Some nice shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Room was very dark. Insufficient lighting. Shower was in a cubicle in the bedroom which was strange. Room was above the bar so noisy all day until about 11.30pm. Very old building which was lovely, unfortunately this meant that the bed tipped down on one side and you felt like you were falling out.

Great location in centre of town, and an onsite car park at the back made it super convenient. Restaurant and bar providing all the sustenance that you could want. Morning breakfast was very good and included in the booking. Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean.

Only very minor points.. the en-suite set up was a bit quirky with the toilet in a closet and shower cubical in a separate part of the room. Like so many hotels the TV remote only seemed to operate when very near the TV or when held at a strange angle. These minor points did not detract from the stay.

The Bull Hotel was very comfortable with lovely rooms and excellent food. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Being able to chill out in the beer garden was great, and even though we couldn't park in their private car park one night,the car park over the road was available.

During our stay, it's been extremely hot and the rooms are not air conditioned. There is a fan to help stay cool, but if they put air conditioning into the rooms, that would be great.

Firstly it was a great location in the centre of Olney! We was welcomed by a really nice guy called Chris as we entered the hotel, who was very friendly and checked us in and showed us to our room. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the front of the hotel, it was lovely with lots of character! The hotel bar was very popular with lots of people coming and going, it had lots of nice areas to sit and enjoy a drink or two! We would definitely recommend and hope to go back and stay sometime in the near future!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

I’ve stayed previously at The Bull. It’s a nice hotel in (I think) a former coaching inn. Room was traditional with exposed wooden flooring. Nice comfortable bed. Excellent walk-in shower. Lovely towels provided. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food (fish pie) was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was great. A small well stocked co-op is located immediate behind the hotel which is very handy. Olney itself seems to have a few nice looking restaurants Overall a nice place to stay

The hotel guest wi-fi is a pain - it’s one of those where you need to sign in with an email address and need to agree to receive marketing emails (so I didn’t sign up). Instead I hot spotted from my phone which was fine in the room (4g) but was useless in the bar/restaurant (3g). That was on Vodafone
