The Last Post0

We have stayed at The Last Post a few times now and it's the best B&B in Blackpool, we just arrived home today. Steve the owner always makes wee changes to the room to make it better each stay. Our room was spotless with modern deco and a view of the tower (photo attached). There are also little extras to make your stay more enjoyable like tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge with milk, juice and bottles of water. We also loved the treats like the biscuits and mints. The Last Post is pretty central for everything, we walked to all the piers on our break however it is closest to Central Pier. It is also near the tram stop. It is very rare to be able to beat the prices at The Last Post for bed and amazing breakfast that Steve makes fresh for you when you arrive downstairs. Plenty of options of cereals followed by toast with butter/jam/marmalade whatever u prefer. Steve then cooks you an English breakfast and everyone always comments on how fab his breakfasts are. We have stayed in the double rooms and the family room and these are both ideal for a break away in Blackpool. There is limited parking on the street outside of the Last Post however we have always just parked 5 mins along the road in St Michael's car park £7 per day or £12 for 2 days half the price of any of the other carparks nearby. Its pay and display and you can pay with card. If you are looking for an enjoyable stay in a very clean B&B in Blackpool The Last Post is perfect. I always recommend to family and friends as sometimes in Blackpool this is hard to find. We will hopefully be back for a visit again before Christmas.

Great room, great host, great location, great breakfast. Our room was bigger than we expected, certainly bigger than others we've stayed in, in that same area. 5 minutes walk from Manchester Square tram stop which is very handy regardless if you want to go north or south on the prom. Prom and traffic noise are almost nonexistent at night when the windows are closed. Would definitely recommend and certainly stay there again.

When the room doors are left to close by themselves they do slam loudly as they are heavy fire doors, which is absolutely fine if other guests remember that when going in and out of their room (it was nice and quiet apart from that).

This was our first time staying at the Last Post and we will definitely be returning. The room was clean, nicely decorated and lots of lovely little finishing touches. The breakfast was always decent and the location was perfect for the Beach and the pier! The owner Steven was super friendly and very accommodating and definitely made our visit easier and more enjoyable. We have 2 young kids and he was super with them! Honestly could not recommended more! Thanks Steven for a Great stay.

Honestly nothing, our stay was 100%

Everything was like new crispy clean and everything matching furniture wise , room with mini fridge bottle fresh Milk and two cartons orange juice and two individual chocolates, choice of 8 different Teas , even more coffees and various Hot chocolate’s also, quality cookies and mints . Steve the Owner was very welcoming and so helpful the whole stay would definitely be a winner on Four in a Bed Well done Steve keep up the good work .

Steve the proprieter is very friendly and helpful doing his best to make you feel very welcome. Although the B&B is in the old part of Blackpool this is a really good location as it is convienent to access all the places one wishes to visit.

There wasn't anything really, only the seagull that woke me up each morning which is part of being at the seaside. I didn't want to go home.

Steve, the owner, does everything in his power to make your stay enjoyable. Offering little extras which you don't normally get. Rooms are a generous size, simply, but classily, furnished. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Superb breakfasts with a great selection of cereals, full English and toast and marmalade. Steve asking if you would like anything more. He wears his heart on his sleeve, which is reflected in the whole premises. Superb and will be back.

We loved everything , Steve your amazing so down to earth so very accommodating. You looked after us like your own. My little boy loved helping you in the mornings too. Proper home from home, comfy beds ,spotlessly clean and cute little touches in the room. A whole selection of tea coffee biscuits hot chocolate and water plus much more.... Definitely recommend 100 million percent.

from the moment we arrived, Steve was very welcoming and friendly. showed us to our rooms and was very chatty. rooms were spotless cosy and everything you need. little extras such as a stocked mini fridge with milk and juice for kids/adults. you can tell a lot of thought goes into peoples stay. breakfast was so nice, served in a lovely wee cosy dining room. nice and quiet every morning abs night and a very relaxing place to stay. won’t book anywhere else now when we visit Blackpool!

Location was in the middle of Central Pier & the Pleasure Beach. Hotel was very clean, Steve was the nicest host you could wish for. Anything you needed he got you it. Room was as pictured, clean & very comfortable. Complimentary items where many. He went above & beyond to make your stay memorable. Breakfast was freshly cooked, well presented & very enjoyable. I will stay here again on my next visit.

Nothing bad about the hotel or staff.

The host was exceptionally nice and made the kids and I feel extremely welcome. The little ones particularly loved the endless supply of lollipops 😉. The cooked breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared at your chosen time each morning, served with hot and cold drinks and toast. There was a good selection of cereals for the kids. Our room was a split one with double and single beds, spotlessly clean, a nice size and decorated neutrally. We had a sea view and two TVs, so perfect for letting the kids have their own remote!

Really can't think of anything to complain about, the biggest disappointment from the kid's point of view, was having to leave for home! Thanks for a lovely weekend Steve.
