MyRoomz New Discovery Hotel

Pete was a lovely host very welcoming and hospitable nothing was too much to make our stay pleasant. Basically this place is cheap and cheerful don't come here and pay what is charged then expect the ritz. But what you will get is a lovely clean room with ensuite and a comfy bed! Would we go back again.... definitely!

We paid £42 for this room for an over night stay for 2 adults and two children. When we arrived we parked on the street and were greeted by the gentleman who runs the property. He was very helpful, came into our room and showed us where things were and how they worked. He was pleasant and left us to it. He did say he would be there all night if needed. The room was basic and the decor a but outdated but we felt safe, there was very little noise. The heating had been on for us arriving and there was tea, coffee, soap and shampoo along with towels provided to us. Really what more can you ask for at that price? We were arriving late at night and leaving in the morning so did exactly what was needed. Kids were happy and that was the most important thing. Again as we left the gentleman was very polite and wished us a good day and safe journey home. Thank you.

Could be updated a little but not surprised it isn't considering the price.

Peter was a lovely and helpful host No breakfast offered, but I knew this before I set off Very economical, and facilities were everything I needed, en suite, kettle, easy access to supplies if I ran out, etc Comfy bed Decor a bit dated and building old, but the whole of Blackpool is old, hehe Off the main road so relatively quiet

Could do with a window cleaner, and i could feel the wind a little. And inside of bin a bit grubby but generally very clean Didn't bother me but no ground floor rooms or lift if you have mobility issues

Had a family room. Room was a decent size, manager/owner was friendly and welcoming. Let us leave our prams in the communal lounge/bar downstairs. Showed us where to get more tea, coffee and toilet rolls etc Provided towels and small bars of soap and packets of shower gel. The room was basic but had a set of drawers, bedside table and wardrobe. Double bed and bunkbeds room for kids to move about. Shower room was a decent size. Price was value for money, would stay here again. If you're looking for a basic, clean room as a base. To freshen up and sleep then this is a fab place.

The outside looked like it was closed. It was a little tired but for the price I didn't mind that.

Peter was so warm and welcoming and was always on hand should we need anything. The room was basic but it was warm and comfortable. We were supplied with towels, soaps and shower gels and there were ample tea and coffee making facilities. Definitely fit for purpose for a short stay. The kids loved having the bunk bed to share. The location was also great for the sea front and situated between Pleasure Beach and Tower.

Great location near the sea, as most reviews mention, Peter is very helpful and takes good care of the guests, the price is good and the facilities are the best you will find for the price range. There is a pool table, Wi-Fi, coffee and tea provided, soap and towels provided etc as standard and there are private bathrooms for each room.

Nice upgrade to to double room . Quite warm even in February, very nice shower. Good communication from host. Decent value for money. Great that you could help yourself 2 tea and coffee etc.

The bed and the mattress we're not that great but ok. Personally I did not mind not having a traditional telly because I do like YouTube. And it was a change to have a Netflix type TV. If you're on foot there's not much on the south side of central pier in the winter months.

The hotel and my room was clean and very comfortable. The owner Perer was very hospitable and a friendly guy. Even offered me an extra portable heater for my room in case it got really cold (extremely cold weather whilst I was in Blackpool) although the heating was on and my room was always warm.

The owner Peter was very friendly and he let us book in earlier as we were tired from travelling . The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he was always around with a smile on his face and he has a laugh with his guests. Will definitely be returning.

The manager was friendly. convinently located near st chads tram stop. corner shop just around the corner. great value for the price we paid. my kids liked the pool table. The manager let up keep our bas in the hotel untill our train was due
