Tong Park Hotel

I understand the hotel has been recently taken over and under new management. The welcome at reception was warm and efficient, I was advised the alcohol license was pending, this was not an issue for me. My room was warm, clean but dated, the bathroom was clean except the soap tray in the shower had residue from the previous occupant, not a major drama for me but could be for someone less forgiving. The restaurant provided an extensive menu and the food was cooked on display, it was fresh and very tasty with good portions and reasonably priced. Car parking is plentiful and the location offers simple access into Leeds.

Improve the outdated fixtures and fittings but that’s just nitpicking.

Friendly and helpful staff, it was nice to be able to sort out the temperature in the room yourself which made it very comfortable to stay and sleep in especially as it was a very hot weekend and we looked forward to going back to our room, the bus was only 10 min walk from the hotel which was great as we didn't bother to travel by car

Hard to get right temperature on shower, was scorching hot, for room service did not have any idea of the times and no menus in the rooms of what's available

the bedrooms were alittle dated compared to the reception area our tv had no remote the office chaired leg had been glued on and came off while I sat doing my make up one of the rails in the bathroom was wobbly and the room was cold we tried turning the radiator on but the nob on the radiator was broken and just came off was very clean tho and staff very welcoming just a few things that needed fixing but we’d stay again if we had an event close by again.

The room was clean spacious and the bed and bedding were comfortable and the shower en-suite was excellent as it had a large spacious shower which is great for bigger people and no shower curtains in sight hooray the door was a glass sliding door which is much preferred

Wesked for an early morning call however the room had no phone installed at the time we stayed as they were refurbishing fortunately we set our own alarms so we were up for our meeting but I’m sure they will have phones in all the rooms eventually

when we arrived the check in was so smooth and very welcoming. The reception staff are very nice and polite and the security man always happy and smiling. We went for our evening meal in the steak house and OMG… the lamb chops and steak was absolutely delicious. The waiting staff and chef was so lovely and came over to see if our food was ok. The steak was cooked too perfection and the mushroom sauce was to die for. I stay here often and can not wait to return Thank You Guys Sarah x

Everything is perfect

good staff, big comfy room with good quality furniture, very comfy bed , good tele.. didn’t eat in restaurant but it all looked top quality . don’t like shower over baths but I have to say this was probably the best shower over bath I have ever used ( room 19).

only little gripe is the curtain in room (19) didn’t cover the window and wasn’t blackout curtain , this is NOT a deal breaker as everything else was of high quality.

The location was perfect for us visiting a photography hide over the road early the next morning. The hotel was fine with me leaving my car in the car park a couple of hours after mormal check out and also with an early check out. The staff were brilliant. Friendly, professional and welcoming in reception and in the restaurant.

Everything was great. Clean, comfortable and a nice view.

Room was spectacular. Very well finished to a high standard and lots of great bath stuff and yummy biscuits. Unexpectedly good for the price. Entrance also very swish, and location perfect for countryside vibes (alpacas!) but still very quick into Leeds. Bed and pillows were super comfortable

No hairdryer, but maybe it was there and I just never found it

The hotel staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful....particularly Andrea on Reception and all of the bar/catering staff. I had dinner at the hotel on both nights of my stay, the food and service were excellent and it was good value for money.

The remote control for the TV in my room didn't work very well.

room was well appointed .excellent location in the Yorkshire countryside.Beautiful viewslift did not work at the time of our visit .location very good for a visit to leeds or bradford

lift didn't work at the time of our visit .disable parking could do with being nearer entrance but not a huge problem
