View to pitch. Reception staff were absolutely lovely.

On arrival, Security gate manned by unhelpful and a tad cantankerous old man. Made me park my car in the car park 300yds away and shuttle TWICE with my luggage rather than offer a 5 minute stop AT the Hotel front door.

Bed (single) was very comfortable if a little narrow. Room had an excellent view of the cricket ground - we were there for the cricket. That helped when it rained on the first day and we are able to return to our room and be able to see when they were ready to start play again. It is also convenient for Rugby League supporters when watching Leeds Rhinos home matches. Lots of choice for food and drink in the area - Otley Road gets very busy on Friday / Saturday nights.

When there was a smallish crowd at the cricket on the first 3 days, having to move the car each morning as there were no allocated spaces on the ground for hotel guests. We only had to move it 200/300 yards down the road to another car park but it was annoying. However it was understandable on the 4th day when there was also a Rugby League match on with a large crowd. Pillows were too soft for my fellow traveller! Would have liked to be able to split the payment between us at check in - were only able to pay the bill in full on one card.

I was visiting to watch the Rugby and the location was perfect. Set in the grounds of the Headingley Stadium so ideal! The hotel doesn't have many facilities nor does it claim to. But was it has are spacious clean rooms overlooking the cricket pitch and friendly staff. The cafes and bars and pubs of Headingley are only a short walk away to get food and refreshments. Because it was a match day the parking was a couple minutes away from the hotel, so the car was moved once I dropped my bags. This is not ideal but not a big issue as it was clearly communicated before arrival. Would stay again

Nothing worth a mention!

We were met by friendly security staff on entry to the car park. Parking had been a concern for us as we had a hire van. We immediately felt at ease. Friendly staff greeted us on entry to the lodge. Our room was very spacious (218), and what a view from the bedroom window...The best view from any hotel we have had. It just made us laugh! We are not cricket fans and used this accomodation as it was near to the area to where our daughter was moving in. The tea and coffee tray was well stocked and had Boarder biscuits which was appreciated. Staff were happy to give extra supplies when requested. This hotel does not have a bar but we knew that when booking so not an issue for us. There are a lot of eating and drinking venues within a 15 minute walk. No breakfast on site but we also knew that when booking. This worked for us as we don't always like to be restricted to breakfast times. Accommodation was clean and staff were available to replace towels over a 2 night stay if required. We would definitely stay again. Great job team x

Nothing not to like.

Location and staff were absolutely brilliant, and facilitated finding suitable restaurants close by, booking taxis and knowledgeable about the area. A credit to the hotel and that service made our stay. That area of Leeds is close to many pubs, bars, shops and restaurants. Easy to find.

Was given free breakfast that normally costs £6.50 each, due to a technical issue, which was great and we were very thankful for, however, it is a token breakfast sent to rooms. I'm sure people would pay extra for a little more.

Very nice room with a L ovely view. Pillows were comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

The bins in the room could have been emptied on my second day and the mugs replaced with clean ones. The sink plug didn’t work properly and the opening windows were very high up, and aI had to stand on a chair to close them. It was also on the flight path from the airport, so that was a bit noisy, but no noise from other guests.

The view was excellent. We stayed as we were attending The Hundred the following day we were able to watch the ground come alive ! Would have been nice to access the balcony .The shower facilities were excellent for my disabled husband. The fridge was handy ,something you don’t often find in a hotel room , especially with no food available on site . Bedding and towels were spotless . Beverage tray was good and very welcome. Reception staff were very helpful.

There was a single bed in the room which we didn’t need we could have sat nearer the window had it not been there . We had to park the car in F car park and I had to walk with bags and cases as my husband is in a wheelchair this made it quite difficult for me . I had to leave him in our room white I shipped cases etc. when leaving . I had been able to drop these off on arrival as there was room in the car park at that stage but it took me a few trips as our room was just about the furthest from the entrance .The bed although comfortable was 2 single beds put together so there was a ridge down the center. There was a damaged ceiling tile with a gaping hole in the ceiling and the electric radiator was hanging off the wall but these did not spoil our stay ( just a note to maintenance! )

The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. The room was lovely and big. There was ample space for us and the view was pretty special. We were provided with a fan and tea & coffee making facilities. Parking was included and really close - which felt really secure. The curtains did great at keeping out the light in the morning.

There could have been more pillows as the two we had each didn't make sitting up in bed terribly comfortable. We were provided with a fan but no way to open the windows further. The light spilling under the door from the corridor was a problem for me which could be fixed more permanently (I used a rolled up a towel to solve it).

Good location, nice walk (10 mins) to shops, cafés, pubs etc on Otley Road. Room had great view of cricket pitch. Room was large, as was the bed, which had a very comfortable mattress too. Nice en-suite shower room. Lots of hanging space/storage.

Due to a match on at neighbouring Leeds Rhinos stadium we had to park in car park F which was a few minutes walk away, not great with luggage/clothes on hangers etc. I really think paying guests could be allocated a closer parking space. We were not informed until we arrived and parked up that our car park would be locked for part of the time, just not very convenient so just check if there are any events on during your stay.

Room was large and clean with a huge window overlooking the cricket pitch, bed was comfortable too. Only a 5 minute walk to the local pubs and restaraunts.

No breakfast available which I knew when booking, room was warm as the sun had been coming through the large window but you couldn't open the door onto the terrace for extra fresh air or to step outside. The windows were high up and even standing on a chair I could barely reach them.
