Roomzzz Leeds Headingley

Lovely apartment and excellent service from night receptionist.

Only one set of towels on arrival (quite late) BUT night receptionist (covering from another Roomzzz) brought extras by Uber because it was an unmanned property. Thank you Adam! Also 'phone in room not working so had to use personal mobile - thankfully I had the number! Second afternoon/early evening the property/room access cards didn't work so had to contact "reception" again. NOT Adam this time and had to wait half hour wait to access property and room with new cards. Made a relaxing day rushed and a little stressed to meet friends and family that evening.

Everything!! We LOVED our stay. It was comfortable, clean & conveniently located for our needs.

It's more of suggestions than things we didn't like: A hand bar to get in and out of shower would be a good addition. Instructions for the air con / heating would have been appreciated - we were too hot when sleeping and the windows didn't let enough air in. And the blinds took some work to keep closed on the ones we could reach. Also, when room was cleaned, we only got one towel replaced. Overall though, we were very happy and will definitely book again for every return trip to see family.

The apartment was large and very comfy. Great kitchen and dining area. Location is great with a supermarket a 5 minute walk away - bus stop literally outside the front door that can get you into Leeds centre. Very close to town, university and cricket ground. We've stayed here before and would do so again. I got very ill the night before we were supposed to leave (ambulance and everything!) Special shout out to LIVVY on reception who was marvellous. They worked magic and were able to let us stay a couple more days until I was well enough to travel. The Manager also called to make sure we were okay - can't fault the team, they were wonderful.

Wi-fi was really bad and we couldn't connect most of the time There is the usual 'hang your towels up if you don't want them changed' but one of the bathrooms didn't have any towel rails, loops or hooks to enable that to happen -easy fix with rack of hooks on back of the door The room is on the ground floor at the front and Burley road is very busy. There was a lot of noise from the street, the front door and the elevator which loudly announced 'doors opening / doors closing' every time someone used it!! If you're a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the building.

The apartment was good value for money, being spacious with comfortable furniture, a good sized fridge and freezer and other facilities. It was generally in good condition (but see below). It was easy to get in, was conveniently located on a bus route, while also having free parking, some of which was in the basement so able to keep your car cool in the summer. The staff at the other venue where you had to pick up room keys and breakfast were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our apartment was very quiet being at the rear of the site and we didn't hear people in the other apartments either.

A few small negatives: 1 - the apartment looked a little tired in places - with some strange fixes leaving a few floor tiles sitting proud in both the bathroom and ensuite 2 - the fire doors had a tendency to slam in the apartment as there were no soft closers 3 - having to pick up breakfast from elsewhere 4 - couldn't work out the heating or cooling systems but then we didn't ask as not critical for the time of year we stayed

Parking on site , Bus stop direct into City Centre right outside apartment. Clean , good size 2 bedroom apartment . Comfy beds , decent showers and bath with plenty of hot water .

Unmanned property so had to pay a big deposit , so you have to trust that you won’t get ripped off . Also , although on the same road as where you pick the key up from and where , if you want the complimentary breakfast , it is a long way to travel , so we didn’t bother .

The apartment was a good size, clean and convenient for the cricket and had everything required for a short stay. Parking was also available which was required.

Although we got parked, there was only one space left and I suspect there were people parking in there that shouldn't have. The reason is that, although it is a gated development, the gate was never shut so anyone could get in. This also applied to the building generally. The front door and security gate were always open. Security therefore could be improved.

Great location, quiet, especially if in an apartment at the back, and view from our floor out over the balcony was great, really liked the size yof the room, the mattress was really comfortable and the kitchen facilities were really good to have too. Plenty of free parking at the Headingley site. Also, Lindsay (based on other site) was very helpful.

It's not made clear at all on the app that the Headingley site has no reception or staff on site, you have to call at the Leeds City West site first to check in, I only found this out by accident on the morning when I rang to ask about early check-in. We met people arriving who didn't know this at all. Also, whilst the space is brilliant some of the furniture & paintwork looked a bit tired & could do with a refresh/replacement

Michelle the assistant manager, was lovely, and very apologetic that we couldn't check into our rooms at the given time we were told, so when we did get into our roomzzz a few hours later after doing the emmerdale village tour, they were ready, and what a suprise we got, they were very clean and spacious, and even better than the pictures on the web site. The apartment has everything you need. This apartment was in prime location for the tour and even better for food and drink at night. We will definitely be using Roomzzz again.

The only thing if I was being really picky, is please fix the curtains as one side was hanging off, and maybe put up net curtains or blinds on the main windows as well for a bit more privacy if you want to keep the curtains open during the day and especially at night

Nice apartment, spacious area with sofa and dining table. We only stayed two nights therefore no need for cooking but it seemed that everything was there - microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher (and a tab) - comfortable bed, modern bathroom. Good view from the balcony, safe parking. We were positively surprised that a basic grab&go breakfast (from the main apartment building) was included in the price.

The apartment was quiet, spacious, clean and provided everything we needed. Parking was easy and it was not far from the places we wanted to visit. There was plenty of hot water and good kitchen facilities.

A couple of light bulbs had gone and there was none to replace them. The utensils in the kitchen were good but there were no serving bowl or plates and limited tools eg no grater. Also, although it was clean the shower cubicle could have done with a better clean in the corners.
