- The room was clean, comfortable and quiet even though we were next to the pub. It felt like a private space created by the trees and shrubs as we faced (as all the apartments seem too). - The food in the pub was reasonably priced and really high quality. - The owners were very accomodating of our needs (we brought mountain bikes).

The breakfast hamper had very basic cereals. It would have been nice to have been offered something a bit more substantial like granola or museli. There was quite a bit of confusion over the bill for accommodation and food. I would have preferred to have paid for these separately, though this was resolved quickly and amicably.

Had I bothered to read the text message from the proprietor I would have accessed my room earlier! The room itself was extremely pleasant, very private. Host extremely friendly and attentive. Ate at the hotel and had a very pleasant burger.

The premises didn't open until 18:00 but if I had read the messages sent to me from the proprietor more thoroughly I would have known this and possibly accessed my room much earlier - Not really a dislike just a comment. WiFi in the room was very weak

it was a lovely pub set in the country side . I was met with a very friendly and helpful lady which nothing was to much trouble . the room was an annex at the back of the pub which I liked . the room was a good size and the room was clean and the bed was very comfy . it was the windiest day in years but the room was nice and warm which was great . there is a good size car park which is a bonus . the pub itself is a nice pub . I eat in the evening and had pork belly which was just amazing complements to the chief . even though it was the worst weather possible I had a really enjoyable stay .

Was like going to heaven after hiking 30 km through the pitch-black, wind and rain. Never neen so hungry in my life - ate a huge, really good quality, gastro-pub type hot-meal and drank two pints of local ale (to rehydrate - doctor’s orders.) My compliments to the chef - you are a very good cook! The meal cost about £13 for main course, but In London would have cost double for same quality or worse!

Room was basic but clean, v quiet, warm and perfectly good for the price. They give you the continental breakfast in a chill-bag the night before, which is unusual, but worked-out great in the end cos woke-up hungry at 4 in the morning and ate it in bed! The apple in the breakfast bag was honestly the best i’ve ever tasted - I guess that’s something to do with being in Somerest!

The location was brilliant for what we wanted close to Bridge water Carnival however not in the town it self. Owners were great they sent as instructions to how to access room as running late this saved us a lot of time rather than waiting for someone to book us in

Can not say there was nothing we did not like

We stayed in room #2 and it was really modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The beer garden in front of the rooms is a really good place to chill out.

It’s literally in the middle of nowhere. This isn’t really the property’s fault. Just make sure to bring snacks, etc…. since there are no shops close by.

breakfast was delivered the night before as I requested an early start which was great. It was satisfactory. The food in the pub was great and I definitely recommend eating there. The bar had great real ales to sample and the staff were friendly and informal. The room has separate access to and from the car park which made it easier to come and go.

I really did not expect much more for the price which was great value but the room does need an update.

It was peaceful, very comfortable and the rooms could accessed without going into the pub which meant that coming back at 1am from a wedding wasn't an issue, hosts were absolutely amazing, made the room ready early and we're really helpful and accommodating, I would 100% book again.

No screening between the door and the bed so if it's open for air people walking past can see in, but it's a very minor detail

The setting. The rooms are off the beer garden and shielded by plants so very private. Even had a hedgehog visitor. The food I had was excellent including the breakfast. It seemed a very popular venue for young and old alike. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the area was very peaceful.

Nothing everything was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
