The Broadfield

The location was absolutely perfect, not far from the train station and the beach was just a couple minutes away! Also if you're looking for somewhere to stay for a concert at the spa, this was perfect for us as it's only a five minute walk. It was our first time ever staying in a b and b and it was a lovely experience, the couple who run it are sooo lovely! Breakfast was perfect everyday 🙂 The facilities are great too, all round a fantastic experience, we'd definitely stay again!

Really nice hotel. Room was a good size, really cosy, modern with very comfortable beds. My daughter usually doesn't sleep well in hotels but this time we all didn't have any problems with sleeping.

Actually we liked everything. The only thing we should mention. Our train was in the afternoon and check out time was around 10 or 11. And we planned to leave our laggage at reception for several hours (we often use this option in other hotels). The owners are really nice but they were planning be out until the evening so we couldn't leave our laggage. I don't blame them, they run this hotel by them own, however it was a bit inconvenient for us.

Nice little b&b with a friendly host.

Arrived midday and struggled to get parked near to the B&B , however managed to get a ‘pay and display’ spot on the tourist filled promenade. Our host suggested the streets outside would clear as the day trippers left for the day and she was absolutely spot on. After our return from an afternoon fishing we were able to park opposite the b&b without any problem and due to close location to town, was able to happily leave it there until departure.

Location is situated in a quiet nice area with plenty of free parking available nearby. It was a short walk, 5 mins, to the start of the seafront and a nice continued walk along the full stretch of Bridlington sea front. The B&B itself is a well maintained large house, oldie worldie, but exceptionally clean and tidy. Word of warning, two flights of stairs to some rooms with a chair lift to first floor only. Double glazed with TV, tea/coffee facilities.

Not much I didn't like about the premises

I had to leave before breakfast was served. However, the nice lady did make me up a pack up breakfast of a couple of very nice bacon sandwiches - which was very much appreciated. Also, I was in Bridlington for work, but if I was there with my family in season it is literally 5 minutes walk to the beach and about 10 mins to the town - no car required.

It would have been nice if the heating would have come on around 0630. I would have not have been cold when I got out of bed and I would have had a nice warm towel when I got out of the shower. However, I guess they normally cater for families and not early rising workers, then I totally understand.

the breakfast choices were fantastic, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. option to change your choice every day for the following days breakfast. self service for cereal or toast and juice.

there was nothing that we did not like or that could be changed.

we liked the location near the sea front and the room was spotless and the staff were great very helpful definaly go back again

there was not anything we didnt like if anything it was the stairs my husband has just turned 80 and finds the 2 flights of stairs too much but next time would ask for a first floor lift ,there was a stair lift to first floor but husban would not use it

Clean, welcoming, great breakfast and the tea and coffee making facilities in the room were topped up daily. Guests were spaced out so noise levels in rooms didn’t disturb others. Lovely hosts, very helpful.

Warm welcome, very friendly and helpful hosts, good breakfast, excellent quiet location close to town centre and theatres

The en-suite shower cubicle was rather narrow and cramped, made showering a little difficult

Location was superb in a quiet residential street near the sea front and Spa, plus we got on-street parking. We stayed in room 1 which was spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. Would happily stay here again.
