One Broad Street

The room was spacious with a very comfortable double bed. There were basic kitchen facilities (fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, crockery and cutlery). The bathroom was clean and fresh towels and toiletries were provided. The location was ideal for seafront access and walking distance to the local shopping areas. The hosts were very welcoming and made contact throughout our stay to offer help and assistance whenever needed.

I never realised how noisy the seagulls could be first thing in the morning! Luckily the host has provided earplugs for noise should this be an issue. As we were on the top floor we had to carry our cases up several flights of stairs. Might not be suitable for everyone.

Location is good for the beach and town area. There are kitchen facilities with basic amenities. Room was clean and shower was ok. Check in was easy.

We stayed in March this year and last year and the price of the room was excellent value for money for the size of it. We looked to book again next year and the price had significantly increased. It is no longer value for money and you can stay in a much bigger room in a hotel located closer to town for a cheaper or comparable price so we will no longer be booking this facility and have already booked different accommodation for next year.

Location is very close to seafront and just a short walk into the main town area. Very convenient! Room is surprisingly large and would be suitable for a longer stay as there is a fridge, microwave, kettle, and kitchen style sink. Bedding/towels were nice and clean! Staff, although not on site, were very communicative via email and text.

Shower wasn't draining well, but this was reported at checkout and the team assured us it would be checked asap. The floor around the table area was in need of a dust, and we didn't want to use the fan despite the heat because of the dust coating it.

Really easy to find and get in. Received a code for the door the day before and got in with no issue. Everything inside was exceptionally tidy, bathroom was clean and hygienic. Location was perfect, a short stroll to the sea front and only a 15 minute walk from the station. Staff were wonderful and helpful, massive shout out to Jaqi and Michelle.

Only one thing really, the bed wasn't especially comfortable - pretty hard and rigid. That's just my personal preference though really. There's very, very little bad things you could say about the place to be honest.

The location was ideal. So close to the beach. It was very easy to arrange access. The hosts are very prompt with information. Great options on the smart tv in front of the sofa bed. The outside area was nice however the sunlight couldn’t reach it. Mini kitchenette is a great feature and had most things you’d need. The room is a little more spacious than it looks in the pictures

We were on the basement floor so the daylight did not reach us. Though this was a nice prompt to go out and enjoy the day in Brighton. The bed feature lights would flicker when off unless you turned the lights off with the left switch I’m sure. Took a minute to figure it out

Great location, right by the seafront and not far from the shops and the lanes either. Loved the quirky lighting and the spotlights by head of the bed. The bed was really comfy, and little kitchen well equipped. Bathroom small but super clean and shower was good. Toiletries provided were above average too. Property was nice and quiet.

A few small niggles - the sink in the bathroom was so small, could barely wash our faces without getting water everywhere. The shower hose was also hard to stay in it’s holder. I slept closest to the door and there was a green light on the ceiling that was a little off putting when trying to sleep.

Location is great, has a little supermarket close by and the lanes and main shops of Brighton are only a 5 minute walk. Really lovely room, clean and comfy. We stayed in the top floor room and it was enough for me, my partner and our 16 month old. The stairs are quite narrow and steep around the top floor but it's not too bad. The hosts checked in on us during the stay which was lovely of them to do so. Overall this is a lovely hotel and we would really recommend it!

Tidy, clean and comfortable room. Building was quiet and felt solid (which is rare in these kind of small Kemptown hotels!) - no squeaking floorboards or noise carrying from other rooms, and not too much noise coming from the street despite being a busy area (plus the earplugs provided blocked out what did make it through). Fridge and coffee machine great bonuses. Perfect city centre location.

Our room (3) was fairly small. Dimmer switch on lights didn't work very well so lights had to either be very bright or off and there were no lamps.

Great location for our visit, close to venues we were visiting, also just a short walk to the lanes for a little wander around the shops. Have stayed here before and would very likely do so again.

Parts of the room did look a bit tired and in need of some TLC. Shower could do with an upgrade, not enough water pressure and very fiddly getting a suitable temperature. We were in room 10 and did struggle a bit with the stairs but, as it was only for a few days so we managed.

Location was near perfect. So easy to access and no faff to be able to do so. Completely able to please ourselves. Facilities worked well and we had everything we needed.

Just be aware that with the great location comes a few local establishments playing music, and without air con we had to keep the windows open which meant being able to hear it a lot of the night. It wasn’t very loud and we slept through it but I’m sure some people might struggle. Ear plugs were provided.
