I loved the style of the room, the check in was super easy, the bed was a double bed but it felt bigger - which was great! The room I had just had everything you needed, a little mini fridge, microwave, fan for the heat, hairdryer, heating (if required). Honestly, it was such a good place to stay. I really do recommend. Plus, I did this as a solo traveller and felt safe the whole time.

I still give this place a 10/10 however my only little thing would be is you can hear everything outside, i.e people opening their doors, people coming in and out. Outside road works etc you can hear. I am quite a light sleeper so I woke up to this a lot however if you are a deeper sleeper this shouldn't bother you at all. No complaints about the hotel itself, just a little FYI overall.

We had an amazing stay at Blok-74 in Brighton. It was my first time visiting and was happily surprised at the cute location and how near we were to all the local amenities! The property is walking distance from the waterfront/pier and major streets for a selection of restaurants, cafés and shops! The room was very clean, modern and just the perfect size. It was equipped with everything to make coffee, mini fridge for leftovers and a microwave for reheating! Practical and convenient! We will be staying here again when we visit Brighton!

Excellent central location near the sea and in the South Lanes. Rooms are small but perfectly formed and well designed. Perfect for what we needed. Surprisingly quiet in the morning for lay-ins.

Walls are quite thin, you can hear your neighbours coming and going. There was a problem during the night with our neighbours room who had a water leak and security came out during the night , and they were quite loud and woke us up. Fire alarm went off nearby at 4am (not the hotels fault). Expect late night street noise, party sounds, very central location with clubs and pubs opposite. (Blok-74 provided ear plugs which was helpful.)

Location is excellent! So close to the lanes ans shopping area and close to a variety of beautiful restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend the burnt orange for superb food and the twisted lemon for delicious cocktails! Spacious room, cool decor and very comfy beds

Would have like to have the option of additional pillows. Our room was on the ground floor which led out to a car park so we didn't want to open the windows during the night but I wouldn't fault the management of the property for that..just the luck of the draw with the room we got. Everything else was great

Great location for the beach, literally a few minutes walk. Only few minutes walk to Brighton centre which is where we were visiting for an event. Our room was small but we didn’t want to pay lots for a one night stay and the small space had been made the most out of and was cosy plus we were pretty much just using the room to sleep. Shower was lovely and lots of lovely toiletries too.

It wasn’t a fault of the property but surrounding area was noisy but ear plugs were provided which was perfect. It was rather warm when we visited so maybe a small fan for the room!

For the price this was ideal. The location is excellent being right in the heart of the lanes a few hundred yards from everything really and about 50 feet from the sea front. The room although small had lots in it and it was thoughtfully arranged. Mattress was pretty good and we found there was little noise from inside the hotel at night. The text message sign in process was really effective as well. If your looking for a nice decently priced room to hit a gig or a night out in Brighton I would struggle to find anything to fault about it.

The property looks particularly dodgy from outside with little signage and little traditional 'kerb appeal'. The room is small and a little on the warm side. We were there in March and due to the busy location we couldn't have the window open so that was a minor annoyance. Its also a shade noisy at night in the surrounding streets as you are really in the heart of everything. The common areas are a little worn and could do with some repair but for what it is you cant really argue.. Its got a slightly hostelly vibe but with a double bed, decent shower and some cool decoration and branding it carries it off.

The location was excellent, right next to the sea and a 10-minute walk from the pier. It's right around the corner from the Brighton Centre if you're there for a conference. The room was clean, modern, and had all the amenities - hairdryer, coffee machine with coffee pods, sugar, milk, tea bags and a kettle, mini fridge, a few bits of crockery and cutlery, shower gel and shampoo, towels, and soap. The shower was spacious, the bed was large and comfy. It was great for a 3-night stay.

Close to beach and pubs.really comfortable bed,everything in the room we needed.loved the keycode entry system made the stay feel more secure.the decor was quirkey and made the room feel bright and relaxing.i would defornately stay again.never saw any staff so cant comment on them.the welcoming messages on my phone were a lovely idea to.fire alarm went off twice (once because a guest had a shower with the door open next to the bathroom at 07.30) and the second time not sure but it was 07.30 but the security team was there in minutes to sort it out

Hotel opposite a late night bar/club that was open til 03.30 in the morning.music its self wasnt bad it was just the people outside chatting/ smoking.it was lovely the 1 night it rained as noone stood outside the club/pub.early morning delivery lorries were a pain but thats not the hotels fault at all.everytime i put my socks on i seemed to find a long hair stuck to my foot,im shaven headed so it wasnt one of mine and my wifes hair is about 4 inches long,these were 7-8 inches.the bathroom was abit small,not much room to dry yourself after a shower.bathroom tap didnt run very well,it seemed to spit if turned on to fast.

The place was extremely well situated, near the water and the peer. The bed was super comfy, nice and firm. Much better than any hotel bed I’ve stayed in. The shower is really nice, good pressure and lovely hot water.

There was an extremely bright green light that was for emergency purposes but it was situated by the front door which was on the right side of the bed, so it lit up the whole room. It disturbed my sleep. The stairs were ok, though I have a bad knee so was a struggle sometimes in places when there wasn’t a hand rail. I would suggest checking what floor you’ll be staying on if you’re bringing a lot as the stairs are quite narrow!

Nice and clean. No problem checking in at all even though it is a code and that can come with problems. Two lots of coffee pods for us so we could have one in the evening and the morning. Microwave and fridge were a nice touch although we didn't use it. The beds were super comfy (we opted for the twins) they were quite close together so bear that in mind if you would like a space between the beds. No wardrobe but nice touch to have hangers on the wall and somewhere to hang up coats. Very nice shower and I can be very fussy with that. Great for a one night stay (after a gig) but it is very compact.

A little compact and I think there was a slight draft in the bathroom from the window.
