Donington Manor Hotel

We stayed here prior to flying from EMA and it was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We liked the property so decided to book on the way home. The night staff was accommodating- we didn’t land until midnight but he was kind, helpful and professional. The room was very spacious, although a little chilly until we put the heating on - although I expected that from a silly o’clock check-in! Breakfast was amazing and the gentleman who served us this morning couldn’t do enough! I’d 100% stay here again. Any requests don’t appear to be too much trouble, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff are next-level

We stayed here to attend Download festival. The location was great, right near the bus station to get to the festival each day. Staff were all really friendly and extra thanks to Sandra who saved us from the spider who popped up in our bathroom 😱 Great little tea shop around the corner who also had super friendly staff. Unfortunately they are fully booked for Download weekend 2024 🙁 Room was clean and comfortable and good value so no complaints

The booking was part of a gift for my Mum & Dad, attending an event at the track and their feedback was very positive. They had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They said the staff were very friendly and dinner superb. They spoke highly of Craig Riley, exec chef and operator of the restaurant, who I understand was out of the kitchen and they ended up speaking at length, which they loved. No negatives reported, so thanks for delivering a great stay for them.

Great value for money in a central location in town. Hotel could do with updating, but large bedroom was very clean and beds were comfortable and good facilities in rooms. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and registering hassle free. Good breakfast served in the morning. Would definitely use again when going to Donington Park races.

Bar didn't have much of a selection of beers or cider on tap.

We were meant to stay a few days earlier than we did, but our bike broke down en route and the RAC were useless. The staff were very understanding and agreed to move our stay from the Thursday to the Monday, even though the main hotel was closed. The annex was absolutely fine. Can't thank them enough. Great location.

The Hotel was no problem and everything we expected, the problem was Booking.com that did not send the correct information to the hotel and we were lucky to get the 2 rooms we booked. Well done to the hotel but an extreme poor show to Booking.com

if Booking.com could do their job better and more efficiently everyone would be happier

Location was spot on for our requirements, Spacious room with extra large bed and a sofa to relax on separately. Plenty of power sockets around the room. Owner and staff extremely accommodating. Excellent breakfast made to order from choice menu.

Minor faults due to age of interior in the bathroom (Hotel is currently having renovations) One bath towel and one hand towel for two people, which was possibly an oversight. Two pillows on the bed, would have liked the option of two each. Wasn't in the room long enough for anything to be an issue.

James, the owner, kindly upgraded our room to a suite on our arrival which was massive and very well appointed. He and his staff were all helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay there again. The place was clean and tidy and had loads of private parking. The location was perfect and the town centre with pubs and restaurants was within 2 minutes walking distance. Also only a five minute drive to Donington Park racetrack which was the reason for our visit.

The staff were without exception brilliant, very attentive and professional. The rooms are huge and full of character, each one different ( we had 3 rooms booked as a group) and each had a full on suite bathroom. Adequate parking and a great location, easy to find and very welcoming.

A very minor observation would be that due to work on the bar there was a limited selection of cider, however I’m sure on my next visit this will have been rectified as it was obviously a temporary situation

Absolutely fantastic and very friendly staff, clean, quiet considering it was on a main road. Had the best nights sleep

Limited food choices. But didn’t effect the quality of the stay as plenty of local places for food
