Breakfast was good & we’ll presented. The location was very pleasant & a well looked after well decorated & presented pub with micro brewery & variety of beer & lager choices. No evening meals on offer on Sundays apart from a more of less standard lunchtime menu. Staff were pleasant, helpful & friendly.

Would have like the option of having a meal on a Sunday evening even if it meant that there was say a limited choice of meals on offer. I had to visit the central village area for some take away food (re choice of burger or pizza etc)

A family get together so we booked three rooms. So lovely to see a thriving busy pub. Right in the centre of Melbourne. Plenty of parking on the road or opposite the church. Quieter the first night as during the week though obviously Friday night had more noise in the rooms from the pub downstairs. Great warm shower rooms with quality towels and toiletries. Very impressed with the oat milk sachets for the coffee/tea and generous stock of sachets for same.

It's a shame that breakfast isn't an option at the moment.

The Spirit Vaults was a wonderful place to stay. Our room was clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was lovely. The room was well equipped, with everything we needed and the shower was good. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately we were only there for one night and didn’t stay for a meal, but breakfast was great and again attention to detail was wonderful, Moroccan mint tea in leaves and not just a tea bag!!

Nothing all great.

Ate at restaurant upon arrival. Excellent food and great price. Sampled the locally brewed lager which was great. Really quaint bedroom lots of character. Would highly recommend this place for locality and value for money

If breakfast was available this would have been a bonus but due to staff shortages breakfast was not an option. There were some good places for breakfast nearby so not a big issue

2nd stay, can't fault the place.

This isn't a complaint really as still would have stayed, but originally booked the Spirit Vaults in December and only received an email the day before my booking payment was taken in July to say the chef was on annual leave, everybody needs a holiday but i missed my Scampi and chips in the bar on Saturday night as there was no food at all. Still a lovely stay and look forward too hopefully returning

The whole establishment is spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. We were told the building had been completely re-furbished recently. They'd renewed everything and installed excellent up market hotel accommodation. It was very well done and we'd be very happy to go there again. The beautiful lake nearby and the gorgeous little town of Melbourne are a superb bonus.

There's no parking and the roadside was a little congested when we arrived but we were able to park not too far away and could have moved the car nearer later on when the road was quieter. No breakfast was provided and the bar was deserted in the morning, but it was extremely easy to pop up into the town and get something to eat at a cafe, so not a problem.

The decor, the room was decorated very tastefully and the bathroom was fabulous, the breakfast was spot on!and the location was a great recommendation for the wedding we attended.

Its a pub on one of the roads in and out of the town so there was some traffic noise but thats to be expected.

We were in the twin room at the top. Lovely room, beautifully decorated, very clean. Very friendly staff. Gorgeous location. We had breakfast and the food was excellent quality. We only stayed one night but would stay again in a heartbeat.

Central location, small hotel, very well maintained. First class restaurant, a micro brewery, the bar sells a wide selection of beers and wine.

No car park, parking is on street and limited, it is, however, free.

Rooms are warm, cosy and confortable and the location in the village is central, although in a quiet area.Staff were very friendly.highly recommend!

There was no breakfast available as not enough staff.However, there are plenty of coffee shops in the village.
